Chapter 33: Flowers

I knocked on the door to inform him that I'm coming in.

"Y-yes come in!" My brows furrowed when he stuttered. Gray opened the doors for me and my eyes raised further when I caught him and the butler pushing something out of his desk to hide it from me I guess. But some colored papers, rustled leaves and even flower petals weren't able to avoid my sight. Why would he hide something like that?

"What are you doing--"

"N-no! It's nothing. Ah yes, I've already told the Head Chef to prepare our lunch so would you like to have lunch together?"

"Are you hiding something?" I asked as I raised my brows on him even if I already knew what he was doing.

"N-no.. I-it's just something trivial.."

Then I took a glance on his hands which were full of scratches. He saw where I was looking and tried to hide his hands but then he understood that he has no other choice but to reveal it to me because I've already figured out that he was hiding something.
