Chapter 26: Worry

"Any updates?"

I asked as I glanced on the people who were slowly being cured by what the Duchess suggested. Now, it has been clear to us that the source of their disease was from that contaminated river.

"Coming near or collecting water from the river is strictly prohibited from this time on."

Naturally, it has met several complaints but we countered it with a logical explanation of the origin of the epidemic in their town and how they could avoid such a thing from happening again.

They would be getting their source of water from a clean lake that's just near here and they've been reminded many times to not throw their sewage matters into the rivers or any bodies of water and instead find another place. And that's one of the things I would plan of when I return to the estate.
