This afternoon, while he was relaxing with Kevin Lam over lunch at the hotel restaurant where they were staying, Vince's cell phone vibrated. He reached into his trouser pocket.
"Yes, Papa?" It turned out to be Benetton Hong who called. "Yeah, I know. Yes, I'll check later, after I eat with Kev. Yes, I know; don't worry."
Then the call ended, and the phone was put back in his pants pocket.
"What's your dad calling? To see how many women you stabbed after you returned from London?" tease Kevin Lam.
Vince Hong was unfazed and continued to scoop the crabmeat soup into his mouth before replying, "You think my dad is like your dad, who always asks whom you sleep with every night?"
Kevin Lam chuckled a little. He knew he couldn't win an argument with his best friend. His partners in crime including partners in sin, too?
