The New Light

*Yin Fang was walking to his school when suddenly a voice rang in his head*

*He was startled and looked around but didn't see anything before moving to the alley*

Yin Fang: System is that you?

*He was startled and confused but something unexpected happened*

*He heard the sound of two men from where he was before*

*He peeked to see two buff men one light and having a huge beard and one a bit darker holding two huge golden axes with both of their cloaks black and a mask on their eyes which looks like a eagle head*

Person 1: Is this the location?

Person 2: Yes but the target doesn't seem to be here

Person 1: Then let's go elsewhere maybe they ran away after seeing us Approach

*The two men rush away at a fast pace and towards the other side of the road*

*Yin Fang who was watching was stunned but also curious but he decided to shake this off and go to the school*

In the School,

Professor: Yin Fang I have something to tell you

Yin Fang: Yes?

Professor: you need to be careful because your name is on the sky web

*Yin Fang was confused*

Yin Fang: What's a Sky Web?

*Yin Fang was puzzled but he knew that it has to do something with Esper or his origins*

Yin Fang: Professor it's alright, I can handle myself

*Yin Fang nods and goes to his classroom*

*A huge horse with red eyes looked at him with murderous intent*

Yin Fang: Yi Lin what happened to your Bicorn?!

Yi Lin: It lost control today after evolution and has been crazy, i thought that the space will be able to contain it but it escaped and now it's going crazy and Liu Yan is already injured because of it

*Yin Fang looked at the horse which rushed at him and without waiting, he opened the portal*

*SWOOSH!*

*The Bicorn Screamed due to getting hit severely In the legs, rendering it unable to move anymore as Esper cleaned its blades using it's fangs*

*The two looked at Esper with a horrified expression because they never expected that the worm which was weak would turn into something this terrifying looking*

*The professor was also startled after seeing Esper's Appearance and then looked at the fallen Bicorn*

Professor: What even happened to the Bicorn Yi Lin?

Yi Lin: Professor i don't know it was ok but it suddenly became extremely violent after a few days of evolution and has been causing trouble and it now can even escape the system space at will

*The professor was shocked*

Professor: Escape the space on its own? This... How is this even possible?

*The professor looked at the Bicorn and his eyes shot up*

Professor: Your Bicorn... It has demonized!

Yi Lin: But How? I didn't do anything bad to it

Professor: Is it possible that you took it somewhere before?

*Yi Lin thought for a while and her jaws dropped*

Yi Lin: That... I went to the spirit mountain in order to collect the Ghost Fruit which is needed to evolve it again

*The professor understood what happened and nodded*

Professor: That explains it, the Bicorn is a evil type so ghost items and spirits can control it easier, you should take it to a cure centre

*Yi Lin nodded and took the Bicorn back*

*The professor looked at the new Esper with Awe but also fear in his eyes*

Professor: What happened to your caterpillar? It's so different now!

Yin Fang: I am not sure but ig that it might have taken in some treasure or other stuff which caused him to evolve into this

*Yin Fang wanted to hide that Esper ate people to avoid unnecessary trouble*

*The professor nodded*

Professor: Alright but it is probably time for you to do something for the school

*The three were surprised*

Yin Fang: Professor what do you mean?

Professor: The Elite Championship... win it and make us proud and we will treat you better

Yin Fang: Elite Championship??

Professor: Yes it is a league that is held between all the schools even those like rotten valley and spider hall which are lowest, the winners and top ten will gain more resources, surpassing the school before us in rank can let us monopolise their resources while they will gain as much as we do

Yin Fang: ok but we have to be stronger

Liu Yan: NO MY DARK STONE!

*Yin Fang looked back at Esper eating a stone which black like obsidian*

Yin Fang: I am sorry, i will get you a new one

*Yin Fang and the professor looked at the sound and saw Esper who was evolving*

Professor: Dear Lord... its evolving again! why does it make evolution look so easy?!

*The evolution ended fast and the only difference was Esper being now entirely Black and his wings getting bigger*

*Esper was looking at itself in confusion and trying to find out what the hell happened*

Esper: MY GOLDEN ARMOUR NOOOOOOO!!!

Professor: Dear Lord! It can talk!

*Yin Fang was also surprised but more importantly he was questioning his life choices*

Wu Lin: Uh Yin Fang... are you alright?

*Yin Fang is still questioning his life choices and does not respond*

Liu Yan: I guess not...

Professor: How are you even speaking?! I thought pets cannot talk

*Esper who was still angry due to the transformation responded*

Esper: i am not a pet! i am Esper and no everyone can talk but the people prefer to make us fight all day and upgrade us so nobody really cares about interacting

Professor: That's a great discovery!

*Esper's eyes twitched upon hearing this*

Esper: Discovery my ass! Why the hell did you even think that we can't talk?!

Professor: i thought it was because we humans are smart?

Esper: Smart?! Dude every creature can talk, its just you humans can't understand us and the kings don't speak any different, they just learn human language after practicing for centuries! 

Professor: Ah that makes sense!
