Chapter 14 - Xander Smith

Xander knew that coming to this mansion again, he had started a war and this thoughts were confirmed when he saw the look on Jason, Lim and Dave's face. He felt the aura of the garden change from being cold like how it was when he entered because now it was deadly calm,  although he was eating and looked composed on the outside his mind was in a frenzy, " Why are they so calm now, I know this demons are up to something bad, they can't torture me like what they did years ago and compel me to stay away from Carie. I have waited for this and I will not let go of this opportunity to get her, he was then reminded of what happened three years ago. 

Three Years Ago 

Xander sat at the shore of a beach at midnight staring at a beautiful girl who kept crying her eyes out looking so heart broken. He knew why she was out there late at night, he also knew that she would come here because he was her close friend and she always came here whenever she was sad but this time around he was the mastermind of her misfortune. He checked his phone and saw some missed calls from an unknown number. " I hope that bi*ch didn't mess up the plan and has left that hotel already before she gets caught " he was about to call her when he received a call from one of the men his brother assigned to help him accomplish his plans. " Second boss it's time, well the first boss already secured one his illegal underground warehouse for you to keep her before the yacht will be prepared to escape from the country, all you have to do is kidnap her and she will be all yours " the man said. Xander ended the call, put on his mask and went ahead to kidnap her.

He went from behind and covered her nose with a drugged scarf.  "Help me!!,  help!!!  was all Carie said before she passed out.  Xander dragged her into the van prepared for him, as he was about to start the engine, a black sports car blocked him and he saw two men step out with a deadly aura,  they brought him out of the car with Carie swiftly. One of them took her away while the other injected him with stringe and he fell unconscious immediately. The men of the masked man woke him up by pouring ice cold water on him. He was brutally tortured, electrified and a machine was used to take off his finger nails. Xander was taken to hell and brought back several times, the sound of wails could be heard until he gave up and confessed his deeds and his accomplices including that bi*ch Barbara, Lim's ex girlfriend that connived with him to do all of this and he knew she had maybe been caught too. He was very curious of the face behind that mask and he said within himself " If I get to see the face of this bas*ard I will make sure my brother deals with him ". As if the man heard him and started laughing like the devil,  Xander was very scared at this point and feared that the masked man may actually hear and read his mind even if that sounds absurd. " You are curious of who I am,  don't worry because you are gonna see my face now " said the masked man and when he eventually pulled the mask of his face, Xander was rendered speechless because the man behind the mask was none other than the great and powerful Jason Alfredo, Carie's elder brother, this man that no one dares to mess with. 

" Xander I don't want my sister to be more hurt than she already is because of you so..."  Jason trailed of as he brought out a sharp butterfly dagger from the pocket of his black pants. He wanted to cause big damage to this fool so he walked up to him and continued, " You have to promise to go far away from here and never show your wretched face here again " Jason said while cutting Xander's face with the dagger.

"Ahhhhhhhh, just end this torture and kill me already you demon " Xander said wailing.  Jason smirked looking at him, he feels elated watching this and seeing the state Xander is in  he was happy but he wasn't satisfied yet but he had to stop because he did not want to kill him.  " Tsk, tsk your bad Xander because I'm not in the mood to kill someone "Jason said. 

Xander is a critical thinker as a psychologist he knew he wasn't in a favourite condition to act stubborn knowing fully well it wouldn't help him so he gave up and agreed, " I promise I won't come back on one condition, you shouldn't tell Carie that I planned all this ", " This condition of yours would be kept only if you keep your promise.  Then this is a deal Xander Smith, and the next time I see you close to my sister you would regret ever being born ". Jason said as he signalled his men to take care of Xander and they understood what he meant by that. He strode towards the door but before leaving he said to Xander while smirking wickedly  " please don't forget to send my regards to your elder brother and also tell him it would be his turn very soon so he should exercise patience " and after that he left.

Back To Present 

Xander knew coming back here will be very dangerous for him but he can't let go of Carie,  most especially now that he heard that she hasn't settled her misunderstanding with her fiancee Lim, " Barbara did a really good job in executing that laid out plan to tear this two apart and my job here is to make sure she never goes back to him and most importantly make her mine, as for Jason someone more powerful will deal with him, he really doesn't know what is coming for him ". Xander mused to himself as he continued eating.
