I went down to eat in the dining table. Iwas the onlynone that they are waiting for, so I told them to eat first, but they didn't. After many years, this is the first time my family and I have eaten together again. My parents were preoccupied with our company, and they valued it even more than Ryle and me, so it's no surprise that Ryle shied away from them.
They have no idea what's going on with their child since they prioritize our company because they are afraid of losing it. Which is fine because they worked really hard to build our firm and are now attempting to preserve it.
As I reached the table, I noticed that they were all together and that I was the only one missing. My mother helped me sit down as I get closer to them, and I thanked her for it. When my father looked at me, I also greeted them a good morning.
