The Yankee Clan

A couple of years ago, there were 5 races. The 5 races were The Top Hats, The Trappers, The Fedoras, The Caps, and The Balaclavas.

They used to live in peace until a new generation of hats was born. These hats were smart and had high firepower. They were called The Snap Dragons and they had come from a modern dimension. They destroyed The Balaclavas and The Top Hats robbing their bodies and recreating them to serve them. The world was at dissaray and resources were limited. The destruction had gotten to the point where the remaining hats had to send their children and soldiers to another dimension where the Snap Dragons couldn't find them.

During that time, the Trappers also sent some of their soldiers and children.

They had settled on a treaty to divide the lands so that it would be fair for them but one day, one of the Trappers went rogue and killed a Cap while also surpassing the border. When the Caps heard about this they were enraged.

During that time, The Caps had 3 species and the most sensitive of them all, The Yankees stood up and complained about it. The chief told them how they had a treaty and they didn't need more trouble.

They were enraged.

1 of the Yankees started a campaign and had even created war.

The Yankees fought with the leaders, The Nikes and after a long battle they were weakened.

The Yankees had won and The Nikes accepted their rules.

Some Yankees didn't accept the conclusion as they and their family members had fought in the war and barely any Yankees returned.

In a few years, rogues started to appear and started raiding military bases.

After a while, the rogues died out as they were getting older and new Yankees were produced. Amongst all the Yankees there was one that stood out the most. A Yankee named Yanko.

Yanko was the youngest member of the clan, he didn't even have a brim and was quite weak. He was always picked on by older Yankees as they had more authority and fame.

The longer and harder the brim, the more powerful the Yankee. Yanko had to learn this the hard way.

After a few years, Yanko was ready to leave his village and set out to find a brim. He had packed his bag and was ready to go but just when he was about to leave he heard a low whimper coming from inside the woods.

He ran to the source of the whimper to find a small animal stuck between a rock and had glass in its finger. The animal was furry and had short ears. Its eyes glowed under the shade of the tree. The animal's body looked like a cat yet the tail was as short and puffy as a rabbit's tail, it had wings of a bird and the animal was white in color.

The presence of the creature made Yanko shocked. Yanko didn't know what to do as he had never encountered such a creature with such elegance.

Yanko came closer to the animal but out of nowhere, the animal growled at him. The animal's eyes sharpened and its claws started showing.

Yanko stepped back and decided to tell the village chief.

When he reached the village everyone was surprised to see him as they thought he had left. He quickly ran to the chief's hut and told him about it.

The chief looked at him with the eyes of disbelief and assumed it was nothing as Yanko had no fame and didn't even have a brim but out of safety precaution, he sent out 3 Yankees to investigate.

when they reached the spot where Yanko had told them about there was nothing there.

The chief recalled Yanko and told him nothing was there.

Yanko was bewildered. He was sure he had seen the creature there but he knew what was to come. Yanko was re-sent to his journey.
