Wrath of the Storm God

Kyden Price was on a plane on the way back to California with his parents, when it happened. The world received a message from “The Deities” of their solar system. The message said they were abandoning them. They would have to deal with the Rapture/Ragnarök all on their own…. Some of the gods decided to have mercy on the beings of their solar system, but will it be enough to stop the incoming catastrophe? --------Disclaimers-------- This novel will not be serious all the time. There will be a lot of jokes, especially ones that make fun of cliché things. It will be very lighthearted at times, but there will still be the serious moments. The MC will not start the novel overpowered, he will have to work towards that type of strength. The MC will start as a young master type person because of his upbringing. He will be very entitled and slightly obnoxious, but he will eventually grow out of it. There will be romance, but it will not be a main plot point. Lastly, this is only my second novel so forgive me for any mistakes that will be made. Hopefully my writing gets better as we go. I do not own the current cover. It is being used as a placeholder, but if the creator or owner would like me to take it down, please comment on my most recent chapter and I will do so.

Apocalypse????

*Ding* *Ding*

"Huh?"

After the sound, a screen popped up in front of the young man's face.

----------

Hello, citizens of Earth. This message comes from the deities of your solar system.

First of all, F*CK YOU! After all we did to help you mortals all we get in return is forgetfulness. (The God of the Bible says, "Good job, this message doesn't apply to you!" To the Christians on Earth.)

We deities originally planned on stopping the world end event that is coming soon called Ragnarök/The Rapture by ourselves, but we will be leaving this solar system soon. You will be all on your own, but the nicer gods begged us to help you a least a little bit, so here is your help. Good luck… or not! - Loki

----------

'I must be dreaming…' the young man thought.

Ky looked away from the screen and towards his parents who were on both sides of him.

He was currently in an airplane on the way back to his home state of California.

His parents went on business trips many times throughout the year, and they finally took him along this time. Ky would one day own Price Inc., the company his parents currently ran.

He was only 18, but his parents would be retiring within the next 10 years, so he would need to be trained on how to run the company by then.

Price Inc. was the leading technology company in the United States, and top 10 in the world. They made a wide range of things from phones to refrigerators.

Ky turned his blue eyes towards his mother who was currently in the window seat on his right.

His mother, Melissa Price, was looking towards the seat in front of her and had a shocked expression on her face.

'Huh? Is she seeing this too?'

Ky looked back down at the message and reread it a few times.

He didn't want to look crazy by asking his parents if they were seeing the same message.

'If dad has a crazy expression on his face I will ask.'

He turned to his left towards his father, John Price, and what he saw freaked him out even more.

His father had his mouth wide open and was staring at the seat in front of him just like his mother was.

"Dad… Are you seeing this too?"

Without looking away from the screen that popped up, his father slowly shook his head in conformation.

"Mom, are you seeing this?!" Kyden's voice was starting to get loud because his panic was rising.

"Yeah…" She answered in a small voice.

"I must be dreaming…" Ky mumbled.

He looked down to read the message one last time.

It was the same message he read the first 5 times.

A voice then came over the plane's intercom, "Passengers… I think this is real…".

Ky looked around the white plane with its full blue seats.

His parents made them fly coach instead of first class in an attempt to teach Ky humility, so he was able to see many other people's reactions.

Some people looked freaked out, some had passed out after hearing what the pilot said, and some looked completely calm.

'So, since this message is true, what does it mean???'

'What do we do now? How does this information help us?'

"Air Traffic Control has advised us to calm passengers down and assure them that everything will be okay." The pilots voice came over the intercom again.

"It seems like everyone on Earth is seeing this message just as they said. There are also many sightings of weird looking creatures and many cases of animals gone crazy being reported to the authorities right now." His voice started to shake at the last sentence.

"That is all they were willing to tell us right now because they did not want to freak us out too much and affect the landing of this plane. We are only 15 minutes away from the airport so we will be landing soon."

"But what do we do!?" A lady yelled.

"How the f*ck is that supposed to help us understand what's going on?!" Another one yelled.

Ky decided to add onto the fire with his own shout, "Have they called the military to the airport? What if there are weird creatures or crazy animals waiting for us there?!"

"Yeah!"

"Exactly!"

The people in the plane who were shouting agreed with him.

"Ky sit down!" His father yelled at him and dragged him back to his seat.

"How is the pilot supposed to know any of that and what do you expect him to do in this situation?" His mom said through her teeth.

"I don't know… Save us?" He replied.

"And why would that be his job? His job is to fly us in this damn plane, not to fight off rabid dogs." His father said in a stern voice.

Kyden grew up rich, so he was a very entitled person. His parents realized their mistake in how they raised him too late in his life to fix it.

They grew up in a middle class household, so they didn't know how to properly raise humble children in an upper class household.

When their son was around the age of 16, they noticed their mistake. It had been 2 years from then and while Ky had fixed his thoughts and actions somewhat, he was still very much like a cliché young master.

"Brace for impact!!!!" Was all a flight attendant was able to get out over the intercom before the plane crashed…

*Boom*

Ky already had his seatbelt on in anticipation of the plane landing so while his body did jerk forward and force his head to hit the seat in front of him, he was still in his seat.

His parents weren't so lucky…

Neither one of them had buckled their seatbelts yet.

The plane split into 3 parts after impact.

Ky was in the middle section stuck in his seat watching his parents fly out of the opening towards the nose of the plane.

"Mommmmm!!!!!" There was nothing he could do but scream as he watched them go.

It all happened too quick, it hardly even registered in anyone's head just yet.

The plane sections were still sliding at high speeds across the ground that they originally hit.

Ky looked around at the still moving plane and saw many passengers flying out in different directions, and the luckier ones stuck in their seats due to their seat belts.

"Moooooommmmmmmm DAAAAAADDDDDD!!!!" He continued to scream as the middle section of the plane started to slow down.
