Good news

"I didn't say you did, but are you really going to marry a guy you don't love?" he asked,

"My decision has been made and i cannot change it now" she responded as he leaned in and kissed her on the lips, her eyes widened, she pushed him off and slapped him.

"Do not touch me without my permission ever again" she said,

He laughed "i am not going to let you marry him" he said as his eyes glowed.

"Please leave leader Wang" she said and so he did.

The girl sat down on her bed "he has never behaved like this before" she said to herself.

"Everything good here?" Yu asked as he walked in with her porridge.

"Thanks" she responded as she collected the porridge,

"I asked you something" he said,

"Yes everything is good" she replied,

"Your mind is clearly someplace else" he said,

"I.. i and Wang sort of kissed...." she replied and he laughed,

"Well your first kiss turns out to be the guy you are unsure of and not the guy that you will be marrying, just great" he said and she looked at him sternly,

"You are enjoying this aren't you?" she asked,

"Of course i am, it's funny even i do not want you to marry Hu" he responded and she gasped.

"Yu... you know i am glad i became friends with you that day" she said and he hugged her.

"Even though i constantly get you in trouble?" he asked,

"Yup everyone makes mistakes, relax i do not care what people think about your powers Yu, in the inside you will always remain the same and that's what matters" she responded,

"Thanks for always being here for me Lien" he said,

"You are welcome" she replied then patted him on the head.

She then raised up and ate her porridge.

"It's really good, thanks Yu" she said,

"You are welcome" he replied,

"Uh... Lien i am going to take a walk, catch you later" he said then left.

A little while after the girl finished eating she looked at her bridal gown and sighed then looked at herself in the mirror only to see a snake marking on her waist, her eyes widened.

"Where the hell did this come from now?" she asked herself,

"When i do think of it ever since these strange things started to happen i met Wang, he is not to blame but there is something awfully wrong with that guy, either way he is hiding something and i intend to find out" she said to herself as she grabbed her sword and walked out of her room.

As she walked the halls she heard voices but ignored it as usual.

"I wonder where you might be?" she asked herself as she entered the the main hall where her brother and some other clan leaders were having a meeting.

She walked in and greeted everyone then her brother asked her to sit with him in the meeting and so she did.

"Lord Han what are you going to do about that kid Yu?" one of the members asked,

"He is practicing to control it, so far he did not do anything wrong, we cannot say he is a danger" Han responded and Lien smiled.

"What if the boy turns out to be evil? who will take responsibility for that then?" another member asked,

"Pardon me but i will take full responsibility for his actions, i promise" she said and everyone stared at her.

Yu was passing by at the same time and he heard.

"Oh no, i just hope i can keep everything under control for her sake" he said to himself as he walked into the meeting and sat beside her.

"What do you think you are doing lady Lien?" he asked,

"My duty as your best friend" she responded and his eyes shimmered as he smiled,

"Just keep me from getting pissed off" he said,

"Okay, i am glad my brother is starting to see clearly" she replied.

"So when are you making your sister the new leader of the clan?" another guy asked,

"I will be making her leader tomorrow" he responded and Lien left staring at him.

"Tomorrow brother?" she asked,

"Yeah tomorrow, it's time you take the lead" he responded,

"Okay well we will prepare for her ascension" the other leaders said as they greeted them and they started to leave.

After everyone left her brother hugged her "no matter what happens now i promise i will always protect you, first i am going to find away to get you to cultivate again after i make you leader though" he said then left.

"What's happening?" she asked,

"Nothing, just today seems to be going your way, i think you should break the news to your new friend" Yu responded,

"Oh Mr. kiss without permission, i will be right back" she said as she went to her room.

The girl inhaled and exhaled.

"Leader Wang if you can hear me we need to talk" she said and he appeared before her.

The girl was about to scream but he covered her mouth.

"You have a loud mouth if you scream every clan member will arrive here in no time" he said and she bit his finger then he released her.

"Even if i do scream it won't be my fault, it would be yours for appearing just like that, you need to stop doing that before you give me or someone else a heart attack" she replied,

'Okay, you made your point, take a breath" he said as both of them sat down on separate chairs.

"So my lady why did you call me here?" he asked,

"Well i wanted to tell you that tomorrow i will be announced as the new clan leader" she responded and he smiled,

"Well finally some good news, congrats kid" he said,

'Eh?, who are you calling a kid?" she asked,

"Never mind" he responded,

"Oh no we are not that far apart in age, so you cannot call me a kid" she said,

'Oh if you knew how much older i am than you" he said to himself.
