Forever and Ever

"We will be there in two hours," I hear Adesh voice say but I couldn't stop thinking about Eve.

What was he doing to her? I hope she's okay. Could there be a possibility that he's hurting her right now? What if something bad happens to her? I couldn't have these negative thoughts anymore, I feel intense anxiety the more I think about her.

"What are you thinking about, mate?" Adesh sits next to me on the couch with a glass of water in his hand.

"Eve," I brought my hands up to my mouth.

"I know, it's tough. But we are going to save her." Adesh squeezes my shoulder.

"I know it's just, I don't feel like myself when she isn't around." I exhaled.

"You really love her, don't you?" Adesh asked but I know he wasn't asking it was more of a realization.

"Yes, I do." I nodded before standing up.

"Am going to check on Jhené," I said Adesh nodded his head before I walked to Jhené's room door and knocked.

"Come in!" I heard her shout. I opened the door and closed it behind me.

"Hey," I smiled lightly looking at Jhené fix her hair. Her and Eve resembled each other, I can't imagine how their mom looked. She must be a gorgeous woman to have such beautiful girls.

"Hey," She exhaled.

"How are you holding up?" I asked as I sat next to her on the bed.

"Not good," She shook her head.

"Am not doing too good myself either," I laid back against the headboard.

"I feel like I failed her, I was the one suppose to protect her and now she's not here with me," Jhené said as she began to cry. I sat up and pulled her into my chest as she cried softly.

"It's not your fault, Jhené. You know Eve loves you no matter what, you didn't fail her. Your the one that makes her smile every time she brings you up in a conversation, your an amazing sister." I said as I rubbed her arm trying not to cry myself.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah, when Eve talks about you. It's always about good things." I continued to rub her arm.

"I just really miss, Eve. I don't know what's going to happen to her, anything could be happening to her." Jhené sat up with me against the headboard. I wiped her tears with my hands and grabbed her hands.

"Everything is going to be alright, we are going to save Eve and when we do we won't have to worry about Jordan anymore because she will be safe," I said Jhené nodded her head and laid back down beside me.

We both looked at the TV that was on. The movie "Pink Panther" was playing and we both chuckled when the Detective tried to defend Beyonce for being sexy.

"This is Eve's second favorite movie," Jhené says with a chuckle.

"What's her first?" I asked looking down at her.

"Forest Gump," She says. I giggled for a moment, I would have never thought Eve's favorite movie was Forest Gump.

"We will be landing soon, so get dressed and um you will tell us where Jordan lives at once we get to Nigeria," I said as I got off the bed.

"Okay, it's going to be late when we land right? Because right now it's twelve in the morning." Jhené asked.

"Yeah, it is. So get enough sleep before we land because it's going to be one hell of a night." I said before closing the door.

"Isn't it so beautiful, Eve." Jordan wrapped his arms around me as I looked out into the view of Nigeria in my white robe.

"Yeah, so beautiful," I said nonchalantly.

"This brings back so many memories, doesn't it?" Jordan asked as he kissed my neck.

"Where are my parents, Jordan?" I asked. Jordan scoffed before taking out his phone and he started to Facetime someone with an unknown number while he kept me in place with his arm around my chest.

After a minute, I saw my parents face pop up on the screen with my dad cuffed to a chair and my mom cuffed to a bed it looked like a hotel bedroom.

"OH MY GOD! Mom...Dad." I shouted making them look at the screen to see me, my mom started crying.

"Baby! I am glad your okay." My father said with tears in his eyes.

"Listen, you guys are going to be safe. I promise, just hang in there." I said before Jordan hung up the phone. I turned around and looked at him confused.

"What? Your parents are safe and sound now we can have dinner." Jordan said before walking towards the bedroom door.

"Don't take too long to get ready, either." He says before closing the door behind him.

I quickly my makeup and fixed my hair to see if it was still straight then I put on the dress Jordan wanted me to wear for our dinner night. It was a Leopard print bodycon strappy cup backless dress, it wasn't too tight but it did show off my curves. I checked myself in the mirror before walking towards the door. My phone buzzed and I tried to look for it because I didn't know where Jordan put my phone. It sounded like it was coming from the covers so I grabbed the covers off the bed and saw my iPhone ringing, I quickly answered without even looking at the ID caller's name.

"Hello," I whispered.

"Eve, thank GOD." I knew that voice from anywhere.

"Hassan, oh my god. Where are you?" I asked covering my mouth.

"Listen, am almost there to your house be sure to distract him so he can let his guard down and not be so paranoid okay? I love you, I have to go." He says.

"But-

"Remember what I told you." Before I could say anything else he hung up the phone. I hid my phone in my drawer under my clothes.

I walked out of the bedroom and headed downstairs. My black heels clicked against the wooden floor making Jordan turn around and stand up from his chair in the living room. The decorations had changed a little in the living room but I shouldn't be worried about that, right now I need to distract Jordan.

"You look amazing, Eve," Jordan said before walking over to me and leading me to my chair.

"Thank you, Jordan." I smiled before he pulled the chair out for me so I can sit then he pushed the chair in. He walked back to his seat that was across from me at the table. Two waiters came and sat the food down in front of us, it was oven-baked Chicken with yellow rice. Just looking at the sight of the food was making my stomach growl.

"Someone is hungry. Why didn't you say anything on our way back from India?" He asked. It took everything in me not to roll my eyes at him.

"Because I didn't feel like eating at the time." I smiled and he nodded.

"Enjoy," The two waiters said before walking away from the table.

"You know this is a good start for us both," Jordan hands me a glass of red wine before sitting down in front of me. We were in another living room that had a view of the ocean behind us.

"We can go back to the way things were between us and we won't have to control every situation anymore." Jordan continued with a smile on his face.

"You mean you were controlling every situation not me, " I retorted making him frown.

"Eve, if you don't SHUT THE HELL UP!" Jordan shouted making me jump a little then he continued to drink his wine.

"I can't believe you hate me, " I shook my head feeling tears starting to form in my eyes.

"I don't hate you, Eve. I love you, that's why am doing this so we can be together. But you ran off to India to meet some Indian dude and- He said.

"Leave Hasaan out of this, " I pointed at him, cutting him off mid-sentence.

"He was just a replacement of me but baby you can't get away from me." Jordan leaned in. "Ever." He continued.

"How can we start over when your still the same person," I asked then he sat back in his chair.

"I just wanted to have a baby with you. Was that hard? I just wanted to have a family with you but you care SO MUCH ABOUT YOUR JOB THAN YOUR OWN FIANCÉ!" Jordan shouted.

"I don't care about my job!" I stood up from my seat and walked over to him.

"I love you Jordan and I would do anything for you." I stood in front of him and he looked up at me.

"Anything? Even if I wanted a kid." He said as he grabbed my waist and pulled me on top straddling him.

"Yes," I nodded before I grabbed his face.

"I don't believe you, Eve." He says pulling away from my hands.

"Well, you have to trust me. Especially since we're getting married soon," I said as I grabbed his hands and put up them on my chest.

"Your right," He nodded his head before he grabbed my head and tried to kiss me on the lips but I kissed his neck instead, making him grunt.

"FBI! RAISE YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!" Cops busted through the house and I quickly got off of Jordan's lap. He grabbed my arm and wrapped his arm around my chest before pulling out a knife to my neck.

"ACHA SILAHA! (DROP THE WEAPON!)" A female cop said pointing the gun at Jordan.

"No! I won't drop the weapon, I will kill her." Jordan shouted making me close my eyes.

"Drop the weapon, Jordan." A familiar voice spoke. Everything got quiet as we waited for the person to show himself in the light and there in behold stood Hassan with a black vest on.

"You don't want to hurt her," Hassan spoke softly as he walked up to us slowly.

"Don't come any closer!" Jordan shouted as he pointed the knife at Hassan.

Hassan made eye contact with me and looked down at my arm. I knew what he was telling me to do so I hit Jordan in the stomach with my elbow and went down on the floor before gunshots started to go off making me cover my ears. When the gunshots stopped, I looked up to see Jordan being shot multiple times before falling on the ground next to me. I started to cry softly as I looked at Jordan's dead body next to me, I started to hit his back then Hassan quickly came over and picked me up.

"It's okay, Eve, it's okay. You're safe now no one is going to hurt you, ever." Hassan said as he stroked my hair while I cried in his chest.

"Take her outside," One of the cops said and Hassan took me outside where I was given a blanket by another cop. The ambulance and cops were all over the place.

"Thank you, Hassan. Thank you so much, I don't know how to repay you." I looked up at him.

"Baby, you don't have to repay a damn thing. Your my girl, I did this for you," Hassan cupped my cheeks. "I love you, Eve with all my heart." He said before I kissed him on the lips.

"I love you too, Hassan." I pulled away from the kiss making Hassan smile then we continued to make out.

"Wait! My parents and sister." I started to worry as I looked around. Hassan chuckled at me and I looked at him confused.

"Do you think I would come here without making sure your parents were safe first." He said then he pointed at a car. As if on cue my parents came out of the cop car and ran over to me with my sister and Adesh behind them.

"Oh my goodness, Eve! Your safe and you're alright," My mom said as she kissed my cheek and stroked my head.

"Am glad your safe too," I said as my father picked me up in his arms and gave me a hug.

"Thank God, your here." My dad smiled once he brought me to the ground then Jhené came and gave me a hug.

"I love you guys so much." I cried and they smiled widely at me.

"We love you too, son. For bringing our baby girl safely to us." My father said as he pulled Hassan into our circle. Hassan looked clueless at first but then he smiled and nodded at my father.

"Yes, thank you so much!" My mom said before giving Hassan a big kiss on the cheek.

"No problem." Hassan nodded then he came over to me.

"Forever and ever I will love you, Eve." He whispered in my ear before giving me a hug.

"Forever and ever," I said before closing my eyes, feeling safe and sound in Hassan's embrace.
