Intermission 2: Anti-climatic Piggy Back Event!

<p>Before the race officially started, there are three simple yet ultimate rule---<br/><br/>One, all the 'Piggy' need to do is to run to the finish line and nothing more. Any kind of direct retaliation coming from the Piggy, their team will directly eliminated.<br/><br/>Two, the 'Rider' can attack an enemy either its rider or its piggy to eliminate them out of the event. <br/><br/>Three, once any part of the body of the Rider fell onto the ground, the pair will automatically eliminated.<br/><br/>Three rules successively popped out as boss started to affirm: "Let's do this! We have to win this!"<br/><br/>Although energetic, he clicked his tongue in disappointment.<br/><br/>Because, before the rule popped out he decided to be my Pig. I was about to tell him the rules but it looks like the System notified him aleady. I double check and ask if he did receive and he only nodded.<br/><br/>Let's start then! I cheered.<br/><br/>As I am now at the back of his, the fence opened accompanied with sudden bang coming from the fireworks. The race is officially started!<br/><br/>Thus thud thud--!<br/><br/>Simultaneously, footsteps started pounding off the ground, creating tremors from left to right.<br/><br/>Surprisingly, boss is only silent and lightly move his feet forward, cursing and complained "Ugh! what the fuck!? Why are you so heavy!?"<br/><br/>"eeeeeh!!!!???" I yelp in a high pitch of tone. Of all words, why did you choose, that word!? I can't help but to feel embarrased and ashamed. I was about to crawl down but he tightened his arm that is holding my tights in each side.<br/><br/>"Don't give up just yet!" He affirmed yet again!<br/><br/>I can't help but to fully rest my body in his broad yet small back. to feel assured.<br/><br/>"Still, it won't change the fact that you're heavy!" He said so then start running as the event starts<br/><br/>I want to smack his head but my arm is too occupied. I am equipped with sword and shield right now. According to the given rules, the Piggy can attack and defend, so right now, I am responsible for our winning and losing by attacking and defending as the rider. Or so what I believe.<br/><br/>Thud thud thud---!<br/><br/>"Haah haah haah!" few minutes later. Boss starts huffing violently as his body, lowers down while running.<br/><br/>It is normal, after all, his level is proportion to mine. No matter how godly beings he is in the main map, his stat dropped to a lowest point and maybe which is the worst, almost the same as mine who is low. I look at my current Strength and Agility and if we happen to be the same stats, I will be surprise if he is not huffing and tired right now.<br/><br/>"Boss, I think we should give up, I'm sorry for dragging you into this mess"<br/><br/>"Shut up. Just give me the report" He said so while looking below whilst I follow, in front of us turned out to be a total mess.<br/><br/>Because, not everyone or specifically, only a handful of players tamed their own per or can hire NPC's who have their affection reached to a certain level, participants in this event can only be counted in five hands.<br/><br/>And looking what was happening in front, it is safe to assume that there are people who already arrived in a 'battle zone'.<br/><br/>Because the track is not that of a large scale, adding, not many participants who take a part of this event. Event administrator created a zone where you can start eliminating other participants using the given rules.<br/><br/>Not long after, we arrived at the said zone. Fissures and big crater is clearly visible even with the thin smokes. Eliminated participants will directly kicked out of the track, so its not hard to see who is the winner in this area. Later that time, we exited and arrived to another peaceful zone and there, five participants slowed down not far from each other. Maybe they're afraid to enter the 'battle zone'.<br/><br/>As we passed through this group of people, one of them shouted: "Be careful!" and give us a warning. In front of us is another one with big burly muscle and grinned. Atop of his head who uses his shoulder as its foothold---is a small monster like that of a goat with its twisted horn in each side of its temple. Like little brother of a certain villain from the classic anime I just watched, it's as if sticking off.<br/><br/>And as we entered the second battle zone, the man sprint towards us along the said goat, rather "A minotaur!" is what's riding on his shoulder!, I can't help but gasps.<br/><br/>It has an axe bigger than fourths of its 'Piggy' and swung it behind mine.<br/><br/>This is, the Guardian of the popular Guild and currently number one in rankings! Guargantaur!<br/><br/>Then, if that's the case, the man with heinous grin is?! <br/><br/>"Rex!?" I can't help but shout aloud in reflex. Rex keep on sneering and did not change his reaction even one bit after hearing my words. He decided to erase us right here and then!<br/><br/>Shouting, I pulled my shield and welcomed the axe, hence, pushed us to the side and boss is almost stumbled.<br/><br/>"Boss! You okay!?"<br/><br/>But he did not answer and only continued his track. Is he tired? Did I really heavy!? I can't help but rethink.<br/><br/>Another moments passes by and the group of people we overtaken started to arrive one after another, but Rex and his Minotaur did not change their target. Maybe because we are currently at the lead? Or did we get his aggro!?<br/><br/>Yeah. Its pretty clear right now. During the first track, who destroyed other participants is none other than this duo! Its just happen that those 4 group are lucky enough to passed the first battle zone.<br/><br/>Seriously, how savage is that guy!? Even with our current level! Is his Guardian too strong for us!? Terrifying!<br/><br/>"Hey!"<br/><br/>Hmm? Boss. Did he said something?<br/><br/>"I said, hey!!"<br/><br/>"Ah yes boss! What is it?"<br/><br/>"Your crotch. I didn't feel any. Did your balls too small not to feel by me?"<br/><br/>WHAT THE HELL!? Of all things! And of all time! why did he messing with me right now!?<br/><br/>Urgh! Because I'm a woman, alright!? Damn this person! Is he teasing me or what? <br/><br/>"Boss! We have an enemy! What are you thinking in this kind of situation, of all times!?" I wanted to smack his head, really. Why is he carefree this time of all times? Wait!: "Boss! Why did you fake yourself for huffing all the time when you have so much strength to spare!?" I complained seeing him that this time, his physique is quite normal as if I'm not riding on his back.<br/><br/>"Well, you're heavy and that's quite true"<br/><br/>"You!"<br/><br/>"Ahh, I'm thinking about the compensation, why?"<br/><br/>"Why you ask!? Someone is attacking us and you!? Argh! This is stressful" Compensation! That's what's on your mind this whole time!? This guy!<br/><br/>"Oh that cute little thing who slam its little axe with your shield? you parried it completely, right?"<br/><br/>While conversing, Rex and his Minotaur keep on pounding my shield. And when I can't, boss evaded them beautifully.<br/><br/>Seriously, why am I so tense this whole time? I forgot. . .I have named NPC beside me since it started---although I still don't know until now if he is actually a named one---while theirs is just a miniature boss. Others has a hired mercenaries or Knights whose just as slow as nail.<br/><br/>Pata pata pata--!<br/><br/>"Urgh! Urgh!"<br/><br/>This time, boss started to flick pebbles---using his feet---towards the axed of the minotaur who missed its shot and instead collided to the ground.<br/><br/>The rubble always and never miss, directly right straight towards Rex and his Minotaur most of the time.<br/><br/>An indirect retaliation! even the system itself counts it as him kicking 'only' off the ground! <br/><br/>What a show!<br/><br/>Every missed from the minotaur's axe, he kicked off the ground and the pebble will always straight directly right into Rex's minotaur until---<br/><br/>It died!? Wha wha what!? It died, from the pebble!?<br/><br/>Consecutively, Rex bellow as he transferred out of the race track after the death of his Minotaur. Before then, he has a poker face who is more handsome than a heinous one he showed the last time.<br/><br/>After then, there's the last one who survived along and following us but he is twenty steps away from the finish line after our arrival.<br/><br/>This anti-climatic first event for us, sure is tiring.</p>
