Chapter 1: Beta Tester

Lying on his back, Kang Byul yawns as he feel the cold floor upon his back. He wasn't usually a slacker, its just that he feels utterly bored being cramped up inside his humble apartment all alone.

As he surf upon ads that keep on popping on his screen, Kang Byul came to see this especially eye catching game add.

Paradox. Turning your fantasy into reality.

With an equally nice graphics and background photo, he was compelled to check out the app. Apparently, it was a  role playing game, with a pseudo fantasy elements added to it. Wondering how such a concept would even sell, he just registered his name on the home page without much thought.

♢ Congratulations, Player Kang Byul. You've been chosen as a beta tester!!!

♢Please press "Accept"♢

Surprised, he most certainly did not expect to receive a reply immediately, considering that he just registered one minute ago. This game's service is too active. He is not expecting to be chosen as a beta tester as well. Shrugging, its not like he had anything else to do anyway. After pressing "accept", Kang Byul lazily slept on the cold floor, wondering about his future plans.

   All system function complete

♢ Welcome, Player Kang Byul. All system cooperative. Starting pack had been installed.

With a yelp, Kang Byul woke up, head becoming fuzzy. He was feeling groggy and nauseous, his bile was surging up. Fighting the urge to vomit, his head was especially heavy. Hearing strange voices in his head, he was definitely hallucinating. Not because he woke in a dark, bloody room, but because as of currently, there is a large bloody slimy blob crawling near him.

He is most certainly imagining things. Even his most hardcore nightmares could not construct such horrid eyeless creature writhing nearby. "No...no....." a painful cry sounded below it, the blob  was in the middle of digesting its meal. Sorry for interrupting, Kang Byul thought, while using this chance to slowly crawl away. Since it was eyeless, it could not see the figure running away from its nest. Crawling in a small crack, Kang Byul felt relief, after of course, convincing himself that he was just having an especially vivid dream.

♢ Congratulation. You havve escape the first scenario, "Escape the Bloody gore's nest". 15 CG points has been rewarded. Please view your account.

Eye twitching, Kang Byul was surprised to see that his own beloved phone had been together with him all this time. Seeing the system's reminder, he cannot believe that the damn game he was curious with had downloaded itself on his phone. Damn game company, it even violated his phone's privacy!!! Which gaming company even does that? Internally raging, Kang Byul was sure to sue the company. Only to be surprised that his phone does not have any other functions other than to show his account.

Blinking, Kang Byul is having a hard time to mentally take in everything. The information on his phone does not make any sense, rather, he was even more confused. At least explain something, anything.

"Hey system, at least explain something", shaking his phone, Kang Byul completely disregarded that he look like a retarded man talking on a phone. To his dismay, the system remained silent.

"Father?", Kang Byul was shaken momentarily, startled that someone had suddenly talked behind him, not to mention even calling him father. He, Kang Byul, had most certainly ascertain that he was a single man, so having children were out of question.

"Father, it really was you!!", with an extremely relieved voice, the girl hugged him, her little arms encircling the taller man. Utterly confused, Kang Byul was to reprimand the girl when the familiar mechanical voice caught his attention.

♢ "Reunion" had been unlocked. 20 Plotline points had been awarded.

Checking his phone, a new storyline had been unlocked. Even until now, he does not even know what was those points were for, but since he has been dragged here, he might as well explore this shitty game.

{ New Character: Luna Stein}

Daughter of a local surgeon. Currently 12 years old. After the Bloody Gore had invaded her father's hospital, she had been wandering around the vicinity, looking for her parents.

*An important supporting character

>Story "Reunion" unlock

♢ Patch Completed

[Current Avatar] {Jude Stein}

A local surgeon. After a series of mysterious events, various creatures had invaded the town. One of this is the Bloody Gore, which captured the surgeon. Currently freed after escaping its nest.

Avatar? Kang Byul had myriads of questions. After seeing the system info, it looks like he had been using a character named Jude Stein. Right. This is a role playing game. He thought that since it was an RPG, shouldn't he be using the protagonist? Why this mob sounding character?

As though it could hear him, the system mechanically answered , "Player Kang Byul's character points is still insufficient, please work harder." So it was like that? It seems that he needed to obtain higher character points to unlocked better avatars.
