The head researcher revealed a bitter smile.

It wasn't that he had a flair for showmanship, but rather because this was the safest way for them to bring the creature to this room. But seeing how excited Master Feng was, he decided not to say anything.

The Foundation Realm guard was naturally surprised to see the creature suddenly dropping down on him, but he was someone with plenty of combat experience. He had experienced all kinds of things before and he quickly came back to his senses as he raised his sword to point at the creature.

The creature however was in a daze as it didn't understand what was happening.
