Introduction

"Sooo...." I say to the girl standing in the door way who seems a little upset, "what's your name..?" She paused and looked up at me, " Shae" she's not much of a talker is she.

When dinner was ready we both went downstairs and sat down at the table. It was quiet for the most part rather then my father asking her questions like why she needed a place to stay or if she was in trouble somehow. But she said she didn't want to discuss it. This girl is getting weirder by the second... we went back upstairs and I sat on my bed while she unpacked her things. She didn't have much to unpack rather then some clothes and what seemed to be a journal.

We chatted for a while and she seemed like a nice girl, she seemed a bit upset still so I said I'd make it up to her by showing her around town and she relaxed a little. I realized that she didn't know my name so I said, "welcome to black pine, my name is Stephanie, but most people call me steph for short." she looked up startled and said, "n-nice to meet you Stephanie."

It was getting late and I was already in pjs when she asked if I had some spare clothes to wear because she didn't get the chance to pack hers and I grabbed her a t-shirt and shorts. Unexpected she took her shirt off and started putting the shirt on, I blushed hard and looked down at my phone trying not to look. She finished changing and climbed onto her mattress and started doing something in her journal.

I woke up in the morning at 8 and she wasn't there. I walked downstairs and saw her drinking black coffee on the back porch with my dad. I got some Honey O's and sat down with them and enjoyed the sunrise.
