Novel (Madhuri katha)

I was reading "Madhuri katha" in my webnovel account as it was suggested when I searched for some historical romace. The story of Madhuri is heart-wrentching. She is a poor women although having everyone around she remained alone. some times I feel like only a pure heart gets tainted.

What was the mistake of madhuri?

Is loving that hot bastard who is her husband Abhimanyu is her mistake ?

She didn't choose her life, then why the hell she should suffer?

Even at the end of the story when she commits suicide she remains herself that:

At last my fate made me to come to the conclusion that "I lost myself". So now I can't live.

For whom should I live?

I just pray to god that "please at least in my next life, give me strength to fight my demons. Please make me strong, so that I can stand up for myself. Please give me intelligence to differ right from wrong"

After praying to her favourite kannaya (Lord krishna god), She drank that bitter poison.

Tear drops started rolling down my eyes. What is wrong with the author of the novel "Madhuri katha". In description the author said that abhimanyu is the prime minister who serves for the vijayanagara empire "to be stupid".

Abhimanyu is a great scholar that he is very good at sword fighting and giving advices to the king, but he is not intelligent enough to know that his wife loves him so much, that she changed herself completely for him. But this stupid, idiot, monkey, pig face prime minister didn't notice his wife loyalty. He used her on bed and loved princess of the kingdom.

I should beat myself for reading a story like this. This novel is in the romance stream but all their in this novel is domestic abuse, mental abuse, physical abuse.

If that idiot didn't like madhuri then after coming back from this work trip-" why did he dragged her into washroom(small pond inside the washroom, as they are living in historical era)

and pulled her strings of her blouse and asked her to bend and ......"

Why would he do that?

The girl speaking started crying sensing that something is wrong with her mistress.

In between her weeps she noticed that her madam eyes slowly opened
