Why I Became A Villian

They say every villain is the hero of their story… They are wrong! There is no such thing as heroes and villains, there is just evil. Evil, cruelty, that’s all I know, that's the only thing the world has shown me… Maybe I am wrong… Just maybe there is more to this world, other than the evil and cruelty I was forced to endure, but that doesn’t really matter anymore. A man is a mirror of the world he has been exposed to… Since I have seen the greatest evil the world has to offer, it is only natural I show the world evil in return. Hello there, I am Lucius Blackwell, let me tell you why I became the greatest villain of all time…

Wolf threat Level Beast: Stampede Bulls

Maya's gaze shifted to Alex and then Dean, who wore deep frowns on their faces but remained silent. Things were getting out of hand quickly and due to the presence of countless mutant birds, they were grounded.

Trying to flee using the Aether Hawk was risky, leaving them with no option but to stay here and fight.

Rumble!

Suddenly, the ground began rumbling, drawing their attention back to the battlefield. Maya's eyes widened as she saw two evolved bulls, twice the size of the normal bull with fierce glowing blue horns, charging past the strange man and racing towards the gates.

As they moved, their horns got brighter, and they were slowly surrounded by accumulated blue energy, which was rapidly increasing with each passing second.

"Fuck my life." The soldier who reported to Maya muttered as the tab in his hands fell off.

"That gate!" Ralph gasped, his legs trembling as he watched these bulls trample on other beasts as they charged forward.

"Wolf threat level evolved beasts, Stampede bulls. Thick skin, and terrifying strength, but their real strength comes from their Charged Charge. The longer they run, the more power they accumulate. They are literally an unstoppable force when they get like this. The barrier won't hold." Silver chuckled, strangely calm in this situation.

He turned around and began walking away, whistling as he moved.

"Where the hell are you going?" Alex asked with a deep frown as he grabbed Silver's arm

Silver's carefree attitude has always pissed him off, especially in serious situations like this.

"To fight. The gates will fall. The mutant beasts will force their way in. The battlefield will be below us, that's where I want to be." Silver grinned viciously.

Boom!

The collision sent powerful blue shockwaves that made the entire base tremble as the gates were flung open, forcing Maya and the others to hold onto the railings of the watchtower to keep their balance.

"Our objective has changed. Keep these beasts away from the command center." Silver said calmly in the chaotic situation.

He shoved Alex's hand off his before jumping off the watchtower with a crazed grin on his face.

Swish!

His white armour released beeping blue lights, creating blue ripples around his feet, which allowed him to run in mid-air.

Silver's hair fluttered fiercely as he ran downwards, charging towards the beast horde with a crazed grin on his face. His hands reached for his white utility belt, and he pulled out two white sword hits lacking blades.

Swish!

"Young master Silver, look out!" Someone screamed.

Hmph!

From the corner of his eyes, Silver could see the human-sized crow charging at him. He tightened casually tightened his grip on his weapons, causing beams of blue light to erupt from them, creating energy blades.

Kill!

Silver had no intentions of dodging as he slashed at the bird, splitting it in two effortlessly.

"Easy." Silver chuckled. However, his joy was short-lived.

Cawwww!

The furious cries of a flock of mutated crows sent shivers down his spine as he watched the army of black devils charge at him with ruthless intentions.

"It seems my battle is with you guys." Silver smiled as he assumed a battle pose and waited for their arrival.

…. Meanwhile….

Alex sighed and looked away, members of the Ainsworth family were usually non-combatants who dedicated their entire lives to their research, but Silver was an anomaly.

Strangely, he could be considered the smartest or at least has the potential to surpass his siblings, yet he chose the path of a guardian over the safe, cozy labs.

Alex and Silver have been good childhood friends, so he knew more about Silver than anyone else. What many do not know is that Silver created his weapons and armor, something his siblings could not achieve at his age.

"It would be a shame if you die on the battlefield." Alex muttered as he walked towards the railings.

Thud!

Thud!

With each step Alex took he got heavier, drawing the attention of everyone. They watched as his eyes turned pitch-black while red Qi energy began expelling from his body.

His body became a shade of red, while pulsating veins spread all over his body.

"Demon-Kin martial technique…" Alex muttered in a deep tone which would make a forty-year-old man ashamed of their squeaky voice.

Pa!

Grabbing the railing, Alex jumped off the watchtower, shooting towards the beast horde below.

Demon-kin secret technique; Third Form: Kill!

His red Qi began gathering around his fists as the speed of his descent increased twofold!

Haaaaaaa!

Boom!

A red shockwave erupted from the impact, sending beasts flying, while those struck directly by Alex were crushed instantly.

"Sidekicks should remain on the tower and cooperate with Maya to organize our troops." Dean said as he began walking towards the railings while his body was shrouded in white light.

"No!"

Pa!

Dean frowned as he saw Maya holding on to him.

"I am not going to let you guys keep me on the sidelines again!" Maya tightened her grip. "Not this time."

Dean just stood there with a frown for a few seconds before letting out a defeated sigh.

"Fine… the sidekicks will support our soldiers. You can come with me."

Saying this, the white aura that shrouded his body, spread onto Maya, and they levitated off the ground and shot into the air.

As they flew, Maya shot a glance in the direction of the strange man who stood behind the beast horde, but he was no longer there.

'Are my eyes playing games with me?' Maya was confused.

"If you wish to fight, you must always stay focused. When that man appears, we will deal with him, but for now, we have to focus on these beasts." Dean traced Maya's gaze before speaking.

"You saw him too?" Maya was shocked.

"We all did, and I think I know who he is." Dean shrugged with a frown.

The Beast whisperer was unknown to many people, but not to the Hall family.
