#Chapter23 CONFESSION

/"Is it really important? You are wasting our time,/" Ryder said, taking a step towards him.

/"It’s only ten minutes, Ryder. I’m okay with that./" I told him and Jason motioned his hands to follow him. I can see Ryder’s eyes are still watching me. Then I’m out of Ryder’s sight. Jason and I are standing outside the bar. I spoke first to break the silence.

/"I don’t think this is the right place to talk,/" I said, as I looked at all the people who were passing us in the crowd.

/"But I got no choice. I need to talk now,/" He said. The vehicles noise on the road is making me difficult to talk. But if it’s so urgent, I’m looking forward to hearing it.

/"Talk,/" I said, folding my arms. I didn’t even look into his eyes. The anger burns inside me when he’s next to me. I get a remembrance of Crystal or whoever the hell she is.

/"Why aren’t you acting normal, Milly?/" He asked me like nothing happened today.
