Chapter 9

The black liquid from the giant spider monster suddenly emitted strange bubbles after hitting the ground for a while. In a matter of seconds the bubbles emitting a foul smell burst and then turned into a spider monster that was much smaller than the monster that gave off the black liquid.

But despite their small size, those monsters that had bombs in their bellies were very troublesome. Sachi didn't want to let this embarrassing incident happen again. She quickly raised the Elysion wand and aimed at the little spider monster that had just appeared and the black liquid that hadn't completely changed.

A bluish-white light shot out at a speed that ordinary vision couldn't catch. It was so fast that all that could be seen were light trails and a few ice particles in the air.

The black bubbles that were hit by Sachi's magic now turned into ice statues of different sizes and shapes and then burst and became ice shards that scattered in the dark.

Sachi pulled the corners of her lips so that a sly smile appeared on her face. "You can't fool me twice!" she exclaimed. Then she turned her attention to the empty space in front of her. Her instincts told her that a Dolls dimensional gate would appear in that area.

Not wanting to waste time, Sachi immediately prepared for the next attack. Elysion's wand that previously gave off a bluish-white glow, now glowed yellowish white with flashes of lightning moving at its tip.

Sachi's eyes grew sharper, she didn't want to miss a single second of time. Her grip on Elysion's wand tightened, all the nerves in her body sending alert signals.

"What took you so long? Did I do something wrong?" mumbled Sachi.

Amidst the growing tension, the corners of her eyes watched the lazy looking giant spider monster move.

"Should I finish the big one first?" Sachi hesitated a little.

She needed quite a while if hse wanted to attack the giant spider first. There was a hard layer of black crystal covering all parts of the body if she wanted to attack blindly. It's more effective if it attacks the weak point hiding behind its head.

However, the distance from the monster was quite far and in the opposite direction to the point where it was believed that the Dolls dimensional gate would appear. According to her prediction, it would still take the giant spider a few minutes to get back into motion and spit out a sticky black liquid and smell again.

Just as Sachi was considering all the possibilities, suddenly a blackish red spiral hole appeared. A brief rumble started the gate to the Dolls dimension opening. Sachi could vaguely see the number of monsters that were behind it and scrambled out. The number was not less than the number of monsters that came out before. So much so that it makes the hairs of anyone who sees it will growl.

"Who actually did it? Arachni has already lost a lot of her powers. After all, the dark creatures that appeared in this place were of a different kind from her. Could it be that Mort's sealing power has weakened, so the monster's power came out and summoned his soldiers?"

Sachi wondered in her heart. She wasn't sure what was going on right now.

As dozens of crystal monsters emerged from the Dolls dimensional gate, the giant spider monster moved unexpectedly. The movement pattern is different from the previous movement. The monster jumped high without bending its four legs, then from the tips of its pointed legs a dark red liquid oozed out.

The red liquid spread into the air then condensed and formed a spider web. At the end of its movement, the monster clung to the wide-spread net, so that even its large body looked small. Red spider webs cover part of the area of ​​the Mort sealing monument.

The Elysion wand she was holding glowed a yellowish white. Without thinking Sachi immediately released a flash of lightning that was stored in the perfectly formed magic activation pattern at the tip. The lightning fast flash flew freely towards the dimensional gate that was still open and hit the monster in the front.

Sachi's flash of lightning continued to forcefully push the crystal monsters that were about to come out. Even though the monsters were forcing, Sachi's flash of lightning didn't weaken in the slightest. As it hit the monster's black crystal layer, Sachi's lightning flash grew even stronger.

It didn't take long, with the roar of the lightning flashing against the Dolls' negative energy—which formed the Dolls' dimensional gate, the gate closed again.

After confirming that her attack had succeeded in repelling her enemy, Sachi noticed the giant spider monster that was now standing firmly on the thin dark red web.

After noticing the spider monster's movement, Sachi guessed that it would be silent for a while after moving. She also turned her gaze to the monsters that were forcing their way out of the dimensional gate.

"Don't expect you guys to get out of there!" Sachi shouted with a hardened expression on her face. In the corner of her eye she noticed the spider monster's sudden change in movement.

The spider monster groaned then opened its jagged mouth. The black liquid that filled its mouth was dripping from the tips of its messy teeth and caught in the web where the monster was standing and turned into a spider with a ticking time bomb in its stomach. Every single drop of that black liquid turned into a single monster. Although it wasn't too much, but the sound of the countdown counter making Sachi lose focus.

"Ah... dammit! That thing again?" she exclaimed in disbelief.

Before Sachi could digest the situation, the monster that was still opening its mouth wide made a strange sound followed by a dark red aura. A sound that sounded like water waves.

Sachi didn't relax her guard, her eyes fell on the face of the giant spider monster that was far above her. A yellowish-white magic activation pattern had already formed, but she was still waiting for the right moment so that her attacks wouldn't go to waste.

However, the bomb-carrying spider monster in her stomach forced Sachi to use her magic. Small and fast movement, in addition to the sound of the countdown issued by the little monsters made her unable to contain herself.

A flash of lightning quickly shot towards the small spider monster that was moving on the dark red web. After being barely a meter near the red net, Sachi's lightning flashes spread out in various directions. Target the time-bomb-carrying crystal spider. Spread but connected.

Successive squeaks were heard all around. Then it was replaced with a loud bang. Monsters carrying time bombs can indeed move very fast and have great explosive power. However, Sachi had already considered what would happen if the bombs exploded on top of the giant spider web.

Explosion trails from the spider monster's time bomb dotted the dark sky in the Mort sealing area. Makes dust and shards of light scatter in the air. Sachi had to squint her eyes to clear her vision. She vaguely saw that the giant spider monster was already spewing out more sticky black liquid from its mouth.

The darkness surrounding the area narrowed the field of vision, plus the sound and traces of explosions made it difficult for Sachi to clearly see the enemy's movements. Until the time the sticky black liquid of the giant spider monster was in sight.

In a very narrow range, Sachi made walls of ice as the fastest response she could do to protect herself from enemy attacks.
