While Others Are Increasing Their Rank: I'm Creating A Game

In a world where some people possess extraordinary abilities such as controlling air, manipulating water, or having a superhuman physique, how can an ordinary and average person without such talents survive? In 1982, the world entered a new era as some individuals began exhibiting unusual powers. However, this ability only appears in one out of every thousand humans. Governments worldwide agreed to assign ranks to those who possessed these powers to maintain peace. Some individuals, known as S-ranks, possess exceptional abilities and are considered all-powerful by ordinary people. Despite the presence of these extraordinary beings, peace still prevails in society. Cedric Jacquier, a non-manifested individual, had one dream - to create a game and earn money. However, his dream was shattered when his old computer broke down, along with his three-year game project. Cedric was once again left in despair due to his misfortune. Cedric fainted due to malnutrition and health problems. Strangely, a blue window screen appeared before him. Cedric decided to recreate the game he had lost. This led to the creation of a hyper-realistic game that could transport users to another world. The game was called "Atlas" and it quickly gained popularity, with both ordinary people and enthusiasts eager to purchase the game capsule and experience the alternate reality. Despite assistance from the system, Cedric found that creating the game was still a challenging task. He had to develop a compelling storyline, design characters and NPCs to drive the plot forward. Despite facing many challenges, Cedric's determination and use of the Game Creator System enabled him to develop a game that has attracted over 5 billion players worldwide. It is renowned for its incredible graphics and lifelike quality, as well as its captivating plot and storyline. Prologue 1: "Atlas" The game known as "Atlas" and dubbed "with the title "Another World" was renowned for its hyperrealistic graphics. Both individuals with manifested abilities and regular people were able to enjoy the game. "Well hello there folks, welcome to Tonight's show with me your host. Michael Moore, and for our special guest the one and only! The Creator of Atlas with over 3 billion players worldwide! Mr. Cedric Jacquier!" The crowd cheered, many players who experienced the game Atlas were all excited to finally see the mysterious creator. As the red curtains were drawn, many gasped in awe, particularly the female players and audience. Meanwhile, the male audience felt envious. "Ohh hello there Mr. Jacquier, it's nice to finally meet you!" "The pleasure is mine." Cedric and Michael were seated on the sofa, and Michael's excitement was palpable upon seeing Cedric's arrival. He was also one of the select few players in the game. "Talent, wealth, skills, and a man with good looks. Truly you are blessed in many ways, Mr. Jacquier" "Well, I wouldn't call blessed." "Can I ask Mr. Jacquier? Where did you get the idea of creating Atlas?" "Well Michael, It's a long story. Well, I first created Atlas on my computer, it was a 2d game. Then from one problem rose another." "Oh, what kind of problems were there Mr. Jacquier?" "My computer got damaged, erasing the game from its data." "I see, but there are many news that you manifested is that true Mr. Jacquier?" "Nope, I'm not one of the manifested individuals. I'm just a common man, who created a game." "Then can you tell us how you became one of the richest men in the world?" "Well, Michael...In short, when others were busy trying to increase their ranks, I was busy creating the game." .... Chapter 39: The Rabbit Beastwoman

"I…Yes, My goddess!"

[Pan future occupation will be!]

[The Goddess of Light's Warrior!]

[Light Warrior!]

….

Vite was inside the forest with Vine chilling in her embrace. Vite poked Vine's small cheeks and Vine slowly rose from his sleep.

"Master?…"

"Vine, it's time.."

"Oh!"

Vine slowly seated himself facing Vite.

"Now Vine let's start!"

Vite using a small twig started drawing on the ground, she draw three figures. One was a huge monster, the second was a small ogre child, and the third was an adult ogre.

"Now Vine, currently there is a huge monster rampaging inside the village. Who will you attack?"

Vine narrowed his eyes and was looking at the drawing with seriousness.

"Ah! This one! Monster!"

"Yes, you are right!"

Vite smiled upon hearing Vine's answer, after her initial conversation with her god. Vite began to teach Vine. First Vite began to teach Vine proper grammar, now she was currently teaching Vine who to attack and to protect.

"Now Vine who should you protect?"

Vine glanced at the three figures and was thinking critically. He glanced at the two ogres, one of the ogres was a small child and the other one was an adult ogre. Vine kept looking at the small drawings.

"Hmmm…"

"Protect…Master!"

"What? No, Vine you're supposed to protect the child ogre and the adult ogre!"

Vine tilted his head.

"No, Master comes first! Vine will only protect Master!"

"Hah…You still have much to learn.."

Vite carried Vine in her embrace.

The other villagers were still wary of Vine. They were all still afraid of the damage Vine may cause if it goes on another rampage.

"Vine do you see this?"

"Does Master mean everyone?"

"Yes, everyone!"

"What about them? Does Master want to mwehehehehe capture them? Torture? Kill?"

Vite felt terrified seeing the innocent look on Vine's face. Vite sighed, Vine was still the same and the progress was still stuck at the start.

"Hah..."

....

"Hyahh!"

Primo was exerting his aura throughout his body. After the fight with the monster, Primo felt weak and burdened by the ferocious monsters out there. Their world was vast, and Primo was training to become strong enough to protect the village.

"Hah..."

'I can't input all the aura in my entire body, the only parts in which I can inject my aura are my hands and feet.'

"Damnit!"

Primo held the wooden axe his father gave him.

"And what's up with this crappy axe? Ughh that old hag wouldn't even give me a suitable weapon sh't!"

"Oh my, I can see that your training hard.."

Primo hearing the familiar voice glanced at the goddess who was standing behind him with Pan holding her hand.

"Goddess? You arrived, just in time! I need your help goddess!"

"Well, what do you need help with?"

"Um, it's about my power, the aura. I can't fully utilize it or inject the energy into my entire body. That's why I was hoping that the goddess might have an answer to my question!"

"Hmmm.."

'A power that strengthens the owner. Hmmm, I also don't know how to teach Primo. But if it's called an aura, doesn't that mean that it's the same as the technique Orcus uses?'

Cedric was thinking critically about how to answer Primo's question.

'Aura is a power that strengthens the owner by utilizing it in some parts of the body. Isn't it like Magi? Using magi can strengthen the owner, but no Primo's power is much more different than the average use of magi. Then Ki? Ki is energy sucked by the surroundings and enters the body to strengthen the user, but those who can properly utilize Ki must have a proper body to fully utilize it.'

"I have an answer for you."

"Really? What is it, goddess?!"

"Ahem. Aura is just like Magi. Let's start with Magi, magi are particles all around us, I'm sure you have seen your uncle Callidus use Magi right?"

"Well yes, he uses magi mostly fire magi to make some tricks and help him boil some herbs.."

"Yes, you see Callidus uses magi to perform magic and to cast a spell. Your uncle when he casts magic sucks the magi particles and pours them into his hands. But Primo yours is a different type of use. "

Primo nodded his head in understanding.

"Yours is Aura, unlike your uncle who uses the magi to cast a spell, your body is sort of a dry lake. "

"Dry lake? But I can utilize magic!"

"Right. So let's start, your body is a dry lake, by sucking magi particles the dry lake is being filled with droplets of water, instead of utilizing the magi particles all around like your uncle Callidus. Your body would suck the magi and it will enter your whole body instead. The dry lake will be filled with small droplets of water, then you channel the magi in some parts of your body like your hands what happens is that magi then transforms into what you call an aura."

"Oh, so instead of you utilizing the magi to cast a spell my body instead sends the magi into different parts of my body...Uncle Callidus would suck in magi but it can only flow on his hands. But when I suck magi, instead of only flowing on my hands it flows in every part of my body."

Cedric nodded in response.

"Yes, to your question why you can't fully utilize the magi in your whole body, the answer is simple. The lake you have is small and can only manage to suck a certain amount of magi."

"So If I expand my lake, then that means my body could suck a sufficient amount of magi to envelop my entire body with Aura!"

"Thank you goddess for your guidance!"

"Of course, first you have to expand the lake you have to get the right amount of magic to fully utilize your entire body ok?"

"Yes!"

Primo immediately got right back to training. Pan looking at his brother who was training vigorously felt envious.

"Umm, goddess?"

"Yes, pan?"

"I...I also want to learn can you teach me please?!"

"Oh my of course..."

...

"Hah!!"

Marik who was training by himself in the woods had successfully cut down one tree.

"I did it!!"

Marik raised his hands. He was covered in sweat but that didn't bother Marik at all. Instead, Marik felt accomplished for what he had done.

"With this, I'm starting my first step!"

Marik held his small axe and began to train vigorously.

Meanwhile, inside Callidus's home, the small bunny Beastmen girl awoke from her sleep.

"W-Where am I?"

The girl looked around the strange room. The girl slowly stood up and glanced at her body filled with bandages, her two legs and hands were covered in bandages.

"Hah, I have ten more potions to do..."

"Who?"

Callidus who saw the girl awake panicked.

"Oh my your awake!"

Callidus immediately ran closer.

"Excuse me, I know that we only met but I have some questions for you! Question 1, can you tell me how you made a pact with a beast? Is it an apostle sent by our goddess Lux? Hmm or is it a normal beast or some sort of mythical kind of beast? Question 2! Can you tell me how many are there in your tribe? and where do you live? How come we never knew where you lived? Question-"

Pang!

"Ouch! Celer!"

"Your spouting gibberish you fool! Can't you see? She's confused, the first thing you do when she wakes up is ask her numerous questions!"

Callidus stepped away, meanwhile, Celer leaned closer to the girl.

"Hello I'm sorry about my friend, my name is Celer by the way."

"Oh um....my name is Bria..."

"Bria that's a cute name!"

"Hey Celer since you finished asking her some questions, why do-"

"Zip it..."

Callidus shrank once again in defeat.

"Are you feeling better now?"

"Umm yes I am feeling better, thank you...but where am I?"

Bria glanced at the pregnant woman in front of her, she glanced at the wolf's ears and tails of the woman.

"You must have a lot of questions so do we. We wanted to ask you some questions as well especially since we are fellow Beastmen. The only difference is the animal your tribe and my tribe had made a pact with."

...

Bria who was now alright was escorted by Celer and Callidus outside of the house. As soon as they went outside, the first image Bria saw was the peaceful village.

Many Beastmen were wearing warm clothing, there were even some small children. Bria glanced at the huge lumber wall.

"Welcome to our tribe! The White Fang tribe!"

"Your tribe is amazing...."

"Of course, our tribe is amazing Hahaha!"

Celer escorted Bria inside the village. Bria was amazed seeing the village in front of her.

"Your village is beautiful and safe....unlike my tribe.."

"Um Bria, my tribe will help your tribe if you could tell us where your tribe lives. Besides we are fellow Beastmen.."

"I-I don't think that I can tell you where my tribe lives...I'm sorry.."

Callidus nodded his head in understanding.

As they began to tour the village, Bria stopped in her tracks seeing the beautiful statue.

"She beautiful isn't she?"

Bria nodded her head. For the first time, Bria had never seen such a thing, it was as if the sculpture was alive and breathing.
