WHEN THE TUTORIAL ENDS

Qwen Valas the anti social introvert, was pretty much ignored for most of his life. Mostly due to his own shut in behavior and personality. That was was usually fine by him until it wasn't and he was forced into a world he had always tried to avoid. He didn't like being around people, just as much as people ignored him. Which was everyday for 9 years. He worked meaningless a job and lived a meaningless life that he could no longer bare. "....God, I wished I used that knife on myself back then. Then I wouldn't have to deal with the headache from this crappy pre-tutorial!" The timer to the end is set and the question remains, will humanity be able to band together for the first time in known human existence to save themselves? Its is only together that humanity has a real chance at surviving until the end!

Time to myself

Qwen couldn't believe his eyes. Even though Matt was a bastard, he was a generous bastard.

Qwen sent a text letting him know they were okay and thanks. He asked for the cash to be brought to his home directly. Matt thought it was strange but didnt question it. He just wanted to go back in game. So he told Qwen that the money would be there in 7 hours.

Qwen needed money for the shop the GM gave him. The system only took gold and that was beyond expensive trying to find or covert it. Now he learned can use his cash directly in his inventory and it covert into gold. The system was amazing.

Qwen was tired but needed to train. Qwen trained for weeks previously physically and the gains were minimal at best. He learned that the physical training took his mind and body being synced as one, therefore it increased the time to perfect a skill or spell.

So he figured that perfecting his 'Intermediate rod combat' skill should put him into the superhuman category with a staff in his hands. He would also push his mind skill to its limits. He going to try to incorporate spells with his combat rod skills. He set a timer to make unsure he was finished before the money arrived. From there he went into nonstop 6 hour training.

Outside in his back yard. He could now practice to his hearts content. He started by casting different spells continuously.

Next, he casted spells constantly while going thorough his forms. He began slowly at first but soon got into a rhythm and was almost moving without thinking. He went through his forms faster and faster but was also slowly correct in his movements over time. After a while he stopped and checked his status to see what spells needed to be improved further.

After looking hia status over he continued to training like a mad man. He wanted to get each skill to level 10 and get closer to advancing his Rod combat Level. It had already risen 3 levels so far. He could only physically train for only 3 or 4 hours straight before having to rest. So he trained hardest during that time. Making each swing of the staff more powerful that the last. Then he increased his speed.

After a half hour Qwen was a tornado of multiple stances. After 2 hours he suddenly stopped. His staff hummed. Qwen felt an ultimate calm.

He no longer felt he held a weapon at all. It felt as natural as his own limb. Qwen calmly went through his forms and his staff glowed bright blue with electricity forming around it.

He cast his ignition spell but stop the burst of flame a few feet from himself and casted the spell continuously. He rotated his spells nonstop while he recovered physically.

A half hour later he became a blur again but somehow even more controlled and precise. Then spells began to launch in different opening while the air buzzed with electricity. On the 6th hour Qwen heard a chime.

*ching*

<Basic Rod combat Level 9 Has become intermediate Rod combat Level 1. +5 Str, AGI, END>

<Atmokinesis leveled up to 2! Your command over the Atmosphere has increased. The range and power of spells under this branch magic increases by 10% each level. +5 INT, WIS>

<Spark, Wind Gust, Pressure Spray, Ice Touch, Fog,Ignite have all reached level 10. Do you want to evolve your skills? YES or NO?>

Qwen grinned from ear to ear. He had perfected all his spells to their max 10 level and had even risen his basic rod in only 6 hours of training!

He read the notification and shrugged. Selecting 'Yes' he was assaulted with a load of new information and pain. The information was literally burrowed into his mind and Qwen kneeled and grunted.

A few minutes later he began to recover and big smile on his face came over his face. His spells had changed.

<Spark and ignition have become 'Thunderbolt'.

Intantaniously fire a power bolt of lighting with thr possibility to stun the enemy. 250 MP the power of thunderbolts are under your control in a 20 meter radius for 30 seconds.>

<Ice touch and Pressure Spray have become 'Temperature Control' For 500 MP can manipulate the temperature in a 15 meter radius in any manner. The spell will not harm those the spell caster deems allies.>

<Fog and Wing Gust have become 'Weather Control' and 'Levitation'>

<'Weather Control' is a spell unique to Atmokinesis users. The manipulation of weather in a specific area. From a radius of 50 meter the you can control the weather and create your own atmospheric conditions. It requires massive endurance to maintain. Yet, it makes it a skill and no longer an spell. This is an innate trait that is unlocked at the 2nd level Atmokinesis spell tree. It is one of the most sought after magic branches in the universe.>

Qwen was stunned silly. He had just received insane abilities but some were taxing to his mana pool. Having skills that were natural abilities were weird. He knew that he could use his skill but still felt like he needed time to learn to control it.

Spells were performed by the system. Skills were different and had to be practiced.

He began thinking about testing out the new powers but his doorbell rang while he was lost in his thoughts. He walked to the door and it was greeted 15 men in black suits carrying 30 bags. They walked in and setting the bags down. After a 2nd trip to their trucks they drop off the remaining bags. The men jumped back into their trucks and sped off.

Qwen had a quarter million dollars personally delivered to his living room! He wasted no time in storing it all into his inventory. Each bag dissapeared with only a touch.

<Convert funds into gold? Yes or No?>

"Yes"

<$250,000,000 coverted into 250,000 GP!>

Qwen took out a gold coin and it was a large round with a 'S' on it. Putting it back into the storage space Qwen accessed the Shop functions.

It listed weapons, armors, accessories, potions, scrolls, skill books, learning manuals, foods, herbs, general items, resources, modern items...the lists of what it offered was long.

Qwen wanted to go on a spending spree but was too ignorant to spend his money frivolously. Qwen purchased a new rare blue obsidian staff.

<Blue Obsidian staff with enchanted hilt. Amplifies elemental attacks and spells by 10%. Mana recovery increases by 10%, +10 INT>

Qwen then purchased 7 accessories he could equip. 5 rings that raised his INT stat by 50 points. He purchased an amulet worn around the neck that increased mana recovery rate by 20% and a bracelet that provided a mana barrier with 10 charges.

Qwens now wore a leather armor under his robe that increased all physical stats by 25% and his mana pool by 500. The items cost Qwen double to bind them to him. In total he had already spent almost half of his gold. The shop was not cheap at all.

He had 150,000GP left over.

The leather armor was called Magus Bear Armor Set. It was made of some kinda mana bear and had fur lined designs on the torso that covered his arms and legs like a suit. He had gloves, boots and a hood that completed the earth brown colored set. He wore the smallnround blue amulet and a plain steel looking bracelet with ten strange designs on it. Qwen looked at his stats and smiled as his powers swelled. The feeling was intoxicating similar to leveling up. Qwens new status with his accessories equipped made him multitudes stronger than a normal human. All his armor could be equipped with only a thought.

Qwen was now almost 4 times as strong as a normal man. It would probably take a high powered weapon to penetrate his skin. That was only an assumption. He definitely wasn't willing to find out.

Qwen picked up a rock squeezing it and with a cracking sound then crushing it into pebbles. It felt like a hard ball of compact sand under the strength of his fist.

His clothes no longer fit him and Qwen had to purchase a shirt, jeans and new sneakers from the shop. Qwen also purchased a hoodie and shades. He used 100 gold for the ONE outfit.

With a sigh he confirmed the purchase and selected yes...the shop was expensive. They were self cleaning and self repairing so it wasnt a total loss.

Qwen purchased the outfit and put it on. This particular set at least grew to whatever his size is. He needed to go shopping for more things soon.

Speaking of shopping he turned to his shop Points. He currently had 2,100 and he didn't really know what they did.

When he mentally selected the tab.

<Do you want to convert these special points to level up your SP, spells, or skills?>

Qwen was floored. The System gave him a way to survive. He wasn't sure if anyone else would have this cheat ability, but he was sure no one would know that HE had the Unique Shop function.

According to the system, every 50 Shop Points can be converted in to 1 point to increase any ability. He currently would have 42 points to increase his stats! Without hesitation he max out Atmokinesis.

<Atmokinesis all spells and skills have a minimum range of 200 meters. All related abilities have increased in power by 200%. Level: Max.>

<By maxing out this skill you now have complete control of the atmosphere within your spell range. You can have sunny day or summon a massive hurricane at will. The sky is at your fingertips, literally.>
