Inside of a local police station two twin blonde haired teen girls sat in chairs wrapped in blankets over their shoulders. The two little girls were still in some shock from the recent events. All of the officers looked at the girls pitifully. No one could get them to talk about the fire at all.
"Jasmine, Lisa do you remember anything at all?"
The police therapist gave both girls and a sympathetic look and touched both girls wrist over the table.
"That's fine you don't have to talk now. I know you girls have been through quite a lot. We'll search for any next of kin and get you somewhere comfortable. Okay?"
She waited a few moments for the girls to respond. She slightly nodded and stood up to leave the interview room.
The little girls weren't just in shock. They were angry! The two twins always had strange dispositions and never acted like most kids their ages. They were both tough, and somewhat 'Tom boy' types and always fought bullies together. The two were inseparable.
They wanted revenge for their parents for there mother. They had been through trauma before but nothing like what they saw. They were helpless before real life monsters! Monsters they both thought with cold shivers running down their spines.
Earlier when they woke told each other that they wouldn't talk about what had happen or they knomew would be separated and it would take years to find each other again. These twins were always very bright.
No they would be silent they told themselves. Plus they had some kind of answers. That man with the strange black suit and staff. They had seen him a slit second before some robes with weird designs appeared on his face before he disappeared. The man that save their lives. They had to find him as soon as possible!
Suddenly words appeared in front of their vision and the girls screamed.
"AHHHH!"

Qwen sat on his sofa and replayed the battles over in his head. His memory felt nearly perfect from a normal genius stand point. He could recall every second. He added his experiences into the gameplay mechanics.
He also checked out his rewards from his mission. The small blue mana stone and the red energy stone were the size of small rock they could both fit in the palm of your hand. Qwen received a prompt from the system.
<Raise mana related skills and stats by 15% Permanently? Yes or No?>
<Raise physial related skills and stats by 15% Permanently? Yes or No?>
Without hesitation of course Qwen selected 'Yes' the gasped. All of his physical skills and stats had risen. New hand to hand combat knowledge entered his mind. His spells ranged and effects had increased the higher their levels rose.
Qwen decided to take a look at his shop. He first looked at the conversion rate of cash to gold. Currently, if he uses $1,000,000 he would receive 10,000 GP.
That's a massive conversion loss of money. He currently wasnt rich enough to make any real moves. He didnt have any valuable items that the system could convert into gold.
Inside the 'shop' Qwen had access to spells tombs and scrolls of all kinds, various close quarter weapons and range ones but no guns or tanks type objects which made Qwen frown. His dreams of rockets blowing up goblins went up in smoke. Their were armors and robes of all kinds. Enchanted items like bracelets, belts, waist ties, cloths, jewelry, mana stones, spirit stones,
He saw many skill books from wild variety professions and topics. Books in information about the integration, what the tutorial is. The monsters in the dungeons worlds that had appeared on Earth.
Books on literally anything related to the system. Educational books on the by the factions in the universe. Books on universal theory. Rocket technology. Gravitational technology. The list went on and on.
Qwen fell flat on his butt after getting floored by the enormous list. Now his money was even more useless to him. He instantly converted his 2,000,000 dollars in his account and received 20,000 GP.
<Do you confirm the conversion of items to GP. Yes or No>
Qwen flinched before mentally selecting 'Yes'.
Qwen knew knowledge was power. He needed to know what he was up against before took any further actions. He spent 11,000 GP on knowledge based books.
Qwen looked at the mountains of books. There had to be thousands of books. Most of of the books were cheap so he got a little carried away. The books looked without end. He was definitely going to need help with these. He shrugged and grabbed a book on System integration. He opend the books to the first page.
<Would you like to directly absorb the knowledge on 'System Integration'? Yes or No>
Suprised Qwen selected 'yes' in his mind.
The book broke apart in tiny balls of light and imprinted itself on Qwens mind. Its was just like the game! He created that feature, to substitute having to learn the material the normal way. Coincidently, the System was created similarly. Qwen was ecstatic.
People are going to be able to use this power also. Learning spells in seconds if they are strong enough to cast them. Learning and studying universal theory in seconds. The shop made possibilities endless.
Then, he was terrified. The integration is the apocalypse and the end of life as we know it. The loss of life is goin to be high to count. The only strange aspect is the tutorial. No where in his mind does he see anything about a tutorial. Or a pre-tutorial for that matter.
If that is the case then why does humanity receive this gift? Normally, mana integration just happens and the planet no wiser to it. Qwen only had vague concepts and tales from the books he began absorbing. Its usually hard to keep record when everyones dying he assumed.
He picked up another book. ' Lethiras bestiary guide' .
Once again, information directly imprinted itself into Qwens mind as the book silently broke apart in motes of yellow lights.
Millions of monsters, large and small. Some from fantasy stories from all over the world and some he had never heard of. There were some that was edible or could be harvested or materials or food.
For days Qwen, went through book after book. Story after story. His concepts he about the universe expanded his mind. He learned proper mage craft from an actual magic academy. The different branches of magics. The various types of energy. Knowledge on all of the know professions. Universal herbalism. Qwen was the smartest man in the solar system at the monent! At least, that's how he felt. He took a whole week to consolidate his knowledge.
The number of skills were off the charts. He had the system remove the tab and only display the skill when it was applicable or when he asked. Many books he purchased were for construction and architecture, farming and agriculture, wood working and bowery. Blacksmith and many others.
His final plan was for his game. Using digital coding he put his entire knowledge into the game. Every thing he had learned for the past week was engraved into the helmet digitally. Most important was the knowledge. He would make knowledge based books cheapest. He would make sure everyone had a starting combat skill like dagger wielding or basic pole arms. Ranged characters would be the same.
All of the knowledge would literally be implanted on a person's brain even when the were outside of the game. He wasn't worried about being found out. In a year it wouldn't matter anyways.
Once he was finished he was exhausted. To finish the game he had taken hours to finish but finally he had finished the Tenth wonder of the world! The Cybernetic Gaming Helm!
