The Night

She immediately stood up as she realised their position and entered the room as she noticed Julie was not in the room and Arnold was in the bathroom. She cursed under her breath, the two would always be near her when she wanted to be alone but right now they have disappeared.

Zane who was puzzled was still in shock and lying down as he made his way inside as well. This girl had actually rejected him again. He grabbed her hand,

Zane: Siya..

Siya immediately felt strange these emotions she was feeling were so unreal or many unreal for her, she had customized her brain to never give in to attachments, when She was kissing Zane and heard his voice as he exclaimed that she was amazing, she felt a pang in her heart, she knew with whomever she slept till date was either a means for pleasure for her and for her partner.

But with Zane, she could feel an emotion something that she shouldn't feel. She calmed herself and turned.

Siya: Yes

Zane could not believe it no one could ever say that the girl who was kissing him and the girl in front of him were the same one, they had the same face but they were still different.

'I..I..mean why did you leave suddenly? Did I..hurt you?'

Even the stonehearted Siya could have melted after hearing this, she could see his yes and he was concerned for her.

Siya:'...'

But as her habit she kept quiet and when she finally decided to respond she was cut off;

Zane: Or is this because of Arnold and Julie? But you did say it wasn't a serious relationship and even Julie...

Siya straightened her composure as she normally does and was as unaffected as always or at least she showed her that way. She immediately stopped Zane..

Siya: It was never because of them, You are on duty Zane and... I don't want someone to think I seduced you to prove my innocence.

Zane: But.. [Zane would have continued but at the peak time Arnold came out.]

Siya: Moreover, you should worry where your partner is after all she should have been here to watch over us.

Zane nodded, while Arnold could smell something fishy but neither of them were going to tell him hence he made his way to sleep.

5 hours passed: But Julie was still not back, Zane was worried after all though he did not have feelings for her she was still his friend. He was sitting on the chair and was now feeling quite sleepy but he had to be awake after all he was on his duty though he was quite sure that Siya was innocent he did not have any trust on Arnold and also he had to still watch over the two since they were the accused. He thought of earlier as his lips curved and his fingers simultaneously went to his lips and he touched them.

It was a different sensation and her lips were the way to the heaven. He lifted his head as she saw the girl sleeping on the couch, he was inwardly happy as she did not share the bed with Arnold but it still pained him thinking how uncomfortable she might be but little he knew.

Siya was happy the best sleep after two months, and this time it was even better, she was enjoying the comfort after all she was an insomniac. He walked to her as he stroked her cheek but she was oblivious of this.

The next morning:

Zane was about to fall from his chair when all of a sudden, his sleep flew away and he immediately straightened himself. He looked around it was still early in the morning, he looked into his watch as he realized Rave would be here soon with all the information of the two especially Siya.

Soon after, Arnold's eyes fluttered open and immediately he widened his eyes, Siya was sleeping and that too so comfortably.
