Feelings

Tom went on his car as he drove across the country, he had worked hard and rose as the mafia lord of country S, the unfading scar on his chest was the proof. He was a cold and aloof man who desired nothing but only power.

He had women crawling up to his bed but he knew it was only for more power. Moreover he was always strangely repelled by the warmth emitted from a woman's body and their perfume would irritate him.

He let Will his so-called father to enjoy those women, He knew that Will had a wife and a daughter but the latter had left him several years ago with the daughter. He had never met them and he saw how Will never even searched for them nor kept any memory of them in the house.

He loathed relationships and attachments after he learnt what his father did to him, this was what rose his hatred towards Siya even more.

They played when they were young and some years back the two were in a war and he was about to shoot at her but Leo managed to protect her. Siya like always was a quiet and aloof girl as far as he remembered with a poisoning tongue.

He hated women but more than that he hated women who had a sharp tongue as he would feel irked by them.

He was lost in his thoughts when all of a sudden he heard a scream, he immediately applied the brake. He widened his eyes as his heart pounded, he had killed many people but here it was different. A girl was in front of his car standing holding a kitten in her hand.

By what he guessed the girl must have crossed the road abruptly, her hand moved down as he saw her. She had a tiny frame and was quite short especially compared to him. She shivered as she raised her wet eyes to look at the car owner.

She immediately bowed to apologise as she ran to the pavement and she was lost in the crowd. He cursed under his breath as he continued his drive.

In Kyle house:

Zane arrived at Kyle's house, as he knew at this hour Kyle's mother must be at his house, he went to her room as he saw Julie on the bed. She seemed extremely dirty and disheveled.

When Julie saw Zane, she rolled her eyes..

Zane: What's wrong Julie?

Julie: Nothing

Zane: Kyle sent me

Julie looked away as she mentally cursed her friend, she told her not to send Zane here.

Zane: Julie, if you don't want to talk I am off from here.

Julie looked at his departing back, as suddenly something took over and she said;

'Do you love me Zane?'

Zane stopped as he turned back with a confused look;

Julie: I mean we have spent so much time with each other did you ever have any feelings for me?

Zane: I...I..saw you as a good friend.

Julie: That's all

Zane: Julie, I never had feelings for you nor did I ever force you to be with me, even when we slept together I made it clear that we aren't up for any relationship it was all consensual.

Julie coldly laughed as tears were forming in her eyes;

'Did you make this clear with Siya ,either Anthony or Novis I don't care ,as well.

Zane lifted his eyes as he looked at her:

'What are you talking about?'

Julie: I saw you that night with her...

Zane: Yes..so..

Julie was shocked by his reaction: So...Zane you were about to ask me to get married to you..

Zane: I...wait how do you know that? I never told any one that I was going to ask you and ok leaving that aside even if I was about to ask you it was only because of the constant nagging of my mother, I wasn't even sure I wanted to marry you like I am sure that....

Julie: For Siya right?

Zane: Julie don't take me wrong but..

Julie: How would you feel if I did this to you?

Zane: Nothing because Julie..I..

Julie: Ya right, you don't have feelings for me, you may go Zane..

Zane: Julie..

'Just go..'

Zane went out as he felt bad in his heart.

Unknown to Zane, in so much time something bad had happen to Siya..
