TRUTH COMES OUT

Leon drove slowly. He was so anxious to talk to her and wanted time to open up about his feelings. Daisy was quiet, mostly scribbling on her notepad.

Leon time to time peered at her in his mirror. Daisy suddenly spoke up, " thanks so much for your concern. I really appreciate! "

Leon looked at her in his rear mirror and shook his head. He then asked her if she was still working at the cinema " no, I work downtown in a clothes shop" " I do design"

" Wow, I did not know that, but i hear you took accountancy classes at keen's "

" Yeah, you got to try everything and see what fits, but designing is my passion! "

Leon knew at once she could not be willing to work at his office.

" Can I take you out, this upcoming holiday "

" Oh, then, I will be spending time with my sick brother"

Leon felt a longing. He knew it was a challenge, but he liked it. To him women had come easy but this one, he could hardly even tell her he liked her. She melted his heart and took away his courage. He felt that warmness in his stomach like his first love in high school.

Daisy felt he had been looking at her. She liked him too. She loved his deep-set voice. His manly features made her feel secure and attracted her to him. But she knew he was rich and had many women longing for him. She did not want to be part of his many escapades. Neither did she want a heartbreak. She felt she could not date him.

"Well, daisy, you are really pretty, i can't take my eyes of you.! "

"Sure? "

"Yeah, you make me think of Disneyland. "

" You are funny, how? "

" Well, are you seeing anyone? "

Daisy heaved. " a thought he would not ask" she thought. Something in her knew what he was hinting at, the other did not want to give in. leon sensed it but he had a determination.

"Yes! " she said and Leon almost hit the brakes.

"Daisy laughed and said, well and you, how is your girlfriend doing? "

Leon was busy thinking and he just said fine without getting to know what question he was answering to.

Daisy knew it was a lie, but her heart sunk when she confirmed he was seeing somebody. And she realized she had arrived at her workplace.

Leon sped off and daisy wondered how the hell he was a good driver. She loved the car though. She watched as he drove off and she wished she could see him again that day.

Leon arrived at his office to find Sarah had been looking for him. He was a bit moody, and Sarah always wondered what was wrong with him nowadays.

He sat down in his office and Sarah stood there holding some files.

" I have some news for you! "

" Well which one? "

" it's about the white files. I read through them and found out it was related to your dad. "

" mmh sit down and tell me about it. "

Leon learnt his dad's partner was Adrian. He said he already knew that. But he was so curious he wanted to see his face. Sarah went to bring her laptop. Leon decided to walk to the expresso' machine and pour himself coffee.

Sarah walked in and placed the laptop on his table.

Leon sat down and he choked on the coffee.

His world exploded. So, Adrian was his dad's partner. That means he had shares in the company. And again, Adriane Chappe was daisy's father. He remembered the portrait at daisy's place. He had been shocked there too, because he had been seeing daisy's father at their home and all of a sudden, he stopped coming.

He knew him as a family friend, but his dad always referred to him as chappe. So, he never got to know his first name. Now he connected clues that chappe was Adriane... He was daisy's father... He was his dad's associate and his dad had murdered him!

He walked out of his office.
