Chapter Twenty-five: THE ESCORT

Gusion's POV

I grinned when I glanced myself in the mirror for the last time. I'm contented on what I saw.

"Can't help admiring yourself eh." Alucard commented, leaning in my room's doorframe. "I know the feeling, man." He added before he chuckled.

One corner of my lips lifted for a smile. "I'm just checking if I look good enough for Lesley." I looked at my reflection once more.

"So it's her?"

I know what he's asking. But I pretended I don't. "Let's go. We should be early, man."

He did not insisted. "Okay".

I locked the door when we went out. I still don't have roommate since I'm new but usually, two heroes should be in one room.

"Where is Zilong?" I asked while we're walking down. Since the day I cried in front of him and Zilong, the three of us becomes real friends. It's the two of them who usually barging into my place, but now, it's only Alu. Alu and Zilong were sharing a room in 4th floor since they were both assassin. While I, in 5th floor for mage.

"He's still taking bath." Alucard shook his head with disgust. "He's there for more than one hour. I got bored waiting for him to went out, so here I am."

"Understand him, Alu." I smirked. "He's in love. He wanted to turn on his girl."

Alu chuckled. "When I remember, it was him who says 'the ocean is wide', 'I won't fall in love', blah blah."

I laughed, too with that memory. "There's nothing we can do. He was hitted by Cupid's arrow."

"And you, too."

I shrugged.
