Chapter Nine: DENIAL QUEEN

Lesley's POV

That's it? He kissed me thrice and that's it? He left? I glared at the direction that Gusion took minutes ago.

"I enjoyed watching you both, sis." Harley teased. "You were as red as tomato a while ago."

I frowned at him. "I am not. Don't tell this to anyone."

"Hahaha! Yeah, sure. Sure. But I might tell it with mother."

"Don't annoy me, kid. And what the hell you are standing there? Remove these damn blades so that I can shoot that Gusion's butt."

He chuckled as he obey.

I'm staring at him while he's doing that. He's still the same young boy I protected eversince but there's something new to him that I can't detect. "Since when did you find out that I am here?"

He grinned. "Since the first time you landed your feet in here."

I am not surprised. He is Harley.

I massaged my wrists when they finally free. "Thank you." I uttered to my brother. I looked at my hands, it's slightly painful. That man. I picked my rifle as I ask question. "Kid, how did you met that brute?" Harley just shrugged. He obviously doesn't want to talk about it. "He said his name is Gusion, why did you call him Bil?"

"BIL stand for brother-in-law."

"Brot--" I frowned. "Stop calling him that. I don't like him so probably he would never be your brother-in-law."

"You don't like him?"

"I don't!"

"Then why did you kissed him?"

"I did not. You saw us. He kissed me first."

"And you let him kissed you."

I felt my face turned red again so I looked away. "I was helpless. I can't move both of my hands so I can't push him."

"Your two feet were free. You can kick him if you really don't want him near you. Hahaha!"

"Harley! I hate it when you're like that." He spoke prankly in humorous way. "Anyway, why I am explaining to you? You are just teasing me anyway."

I left him irritatingly.

I'm already far from him, but I still can hear his laugh.
