Meeting the devils
The class went by with little to nothing happening. The bell rang and it was now lunch time.
"Hey you wanna go to the cafeteria". Light ask."yeah sure why not, I've been wanting to have sweets. During the class." L replied
As they went to the cafeteria they attracted a lot of attention from the students especially the girls. They reached the place after 5 minutes.
They sat at an empty place there. They could feel the glances from the other students." I've distinguished some of the students to be devils just like the student council members. And I guess you've already found out also". light said.
"Yes they're not as strong as I expected them to be. But still we must be guard cause we don't know what might happen next". L said while his cake. Then the girls who surrounded them at came to ask questions."hey Lawliet um why do you sit like that" one of the girls asked."If I sit in a normal way my brain processing will slow by 40%. And to answer the questions which you ask at the gate yes I am single but I'm not really interested in getting into relationship now. You can just call me L". L replied." what about you yagami are you single?". One of the girls asked."I am, but I just want to make friends at the moment so, sorry. And you can also call me light". Light replied with a smile making the girls blush and scream with excitement.
When they were walking back to the class they spot the perverted trio who were peeping at the girls changing room." The perverts are here". Light shouted in with a smile catching the pervert trio off guard." Hey dude WTF is your problem!!. Atleast let us have a view of our life." Matsuda one of the perverted trio said." Sorry but I don't like perverts going around and looking at girls getting changed." Light said with a grin. Then the girls came out and as soon as the perverted trio saw them they started running for their lives." Hey come back you low life perverts!!". The girls said when they saw the perverted trio running. Some of the girls were going after them with their kendo stick."Hey thank you for telling us those perverted trio were—". The girls stopped mid sentence when they saw it was the new transfers who were the national exam perfect scorers." No need, I don't like perverts also if you need any help you can just call me". Light with a smile making the girls blush."umm.. we won't mind if you take a peek". The girls said while keeping their hands on their face.' Just when I thought I would see atleast a single decent person. Why do they want me act like a pervert. Even an girl like misa won't say that'. Light thought." I don't think I would want to, i just wanted you girls to know that the perverts were peeping. And I'm not a pervert". Light replied with a smile making the girls even more blush.
After the class ended light and L were packing up their things and we're about to head home when a girl came up to issei and asked him to go out for a date.
' Something's not right why would anyone want to ask issei the member of the perverted trio to go out on a date. From what I saw I can tell that no girls wants to be near him unless she herself is a pervert like issei. She might be planning something and it might be related to unknown event that the entity spoke of the possibility is not really High but I must not ignore it.' L and light thought as they both give each other other glances as to confirm what both them were thinking.
"Congratulations issei you finally have a girlfriend now, I thought that you won't be able to get one because of you pervertedness". Light commented making issei talk back." Hey!! That's rude you know". Issei replied." So is peeping at girls changing". Light responded with a grin on his face making issei a bit angry.
Light and L were walking outside the school, they suddenly felt a gaze and when the look back they saw a red–haired girl who has big breast looking at them. Light and already knew that she the powerful one in the school but they hadn't seen her. Then light and L stop looking at the woman and went home. Rias was still in her thoughts and then a woman named Akeno spoke up." President Rias they seem to be a lot more clever. If both of them join us they would be of great help". Akeno said as she put her hand in near her lips." For now we'll just observe them. Koneko observe Issei he might be in trouble". Rias said." Ok president Rias". Koneko replied.
2 days later~
Light and L were walking towards the towards as always they could feel the glances from all the students girls admiring and boys cursing them.
The red haired women was observing them but light and L were just ignoring her." Bring me Yagami and Lawliet. I want them join my peerage." Rias said." Ok president Rias." Akeno said.' It's been 4 days since we last talked also and I've been wanting to see them ' Akeno thought.
Then at the classroom Issei starts to ask his friends if they remember about the girl he was dating yesterday." Hey, light and L you do remember the girl I was dating right?". Issei asked desperately. " Yes, of course I do, her name was Alice. I wouldn't be be surprised if she already broke up with you". Light said with a grin." That's not what happened!!". Issei replied.' Judging from what I see nobody remembers Alice so something must have happened with issei i can sense that his energy is a bit higher today'. Light and L thought and gave each other glances.
During class Akeno came to class and told the teacher that both light and L presence were requested at the club.' what do they want? Did they find out our powers or are they simply calling us to check up on us? Well it doesn't matter anyway they can't control with that weak energy'. Light thought
As they were walking towards the ORC (occult research club) light ask Akeno. " Why are we called to the ORC ?". Light ask. " You'll soon find out my dear". Akeno replied with a flirting tone.' She may be perverted but she can be a useful pawn. Afterall she's a woman'. Light thought and replied." I'm just curious". Light replied and Akeno getting no reaction just thought to herself. ' He's not even a bit like the other guys who would've already been blushing'. Akeno thought.
They reached the student council and went inside the room and saw koneko and kiba and other members of the club." President is taking a shower just wait for a bit". Said Akeno.' She just suddenly decides to take a shower when she knew we were coming. Do this devils take me for a fool?' Light thought.' It seems that she wants to seduce us into joining their their club'. L thought.
"You can sit and wait here. I'll make tea". Akeno said as she went to make tea. " Can you please add extra sugar in mine cause I like it sweet". L said getting a glance from Akeno." Ok dear". Akeno said in a flirting tone but didn't get any reaction from him. Koneko seeing L sit in a weird way ask." Why are you sitting like that? Koneko asked curiously. Rias came out after the shower and sit opposite to light and L face to face. She was a bit weirded out seeing L sit in a weird way but she composed herself. " My name is Rias Gremory I'm the president of the occult research club". Rias introduce herself."Light yagami". Light replied."L Lawliet". L replied."Tell me, light and L do you believe in the supernatural?". Rias asked." Well It depends on what the person perspective is if i were to say that I saw cakes raining people will think that is ridiculous and that I'm being delusional even if it were true cause things like that never happens. In our case if someone were to say that they got a million dollars and lost it I would first try to find a flaw in the in statement by asking different questions to see if he gave any answer which would contradict the other". L said. 'As from what I've seen i know that supernatural exist.' L thought." So you don't believe in it". Rias asked." When did say I didn't, I only told the you the condition for me to be able believe it. I never said that I didn't believe in supernatural." L replied with with no expression in his face getting a shocked face from rias and the other club members.' I didn't expect him to be so observant and smart'. Rias thought. " What about you light do you believe in the supernatural?". Rias asked light." Well I do believe in the supernatural but it's conditional just like L said earlier. And I like to based reality on logic sometimes combined with supernatural ". Light replied.' The death note was my first supernatural encounter. So it wouldn't make sense for me to not believe in some supernaturals'. Light thought'' Light is also smart and observant if they are in my peerage. I might be able to beat riser in rating game'. Rias thought with a smile." Do you know what devils are light? Rias asked with a smile." No, would mind telling us about it?". Light replied and started explain what devils are.
After rias finished explaining, Akeno brought tea and gave the one with more sugar to L. L tasting the tea replied." This tea is very good and thanks for adding more sugar". L replied. " So what do you want from us". Light asked." Join me" rias said.
