Ten

The next morning I wake up and get dressed and remember what happened yesterday with Izzy and I can't help but blush just thinking about it.

I leave my room with difficulty and I really don't know what will happen to me. I join the others who are already eating, and then I go and sit next to Izzy.

"I don't think we're going to talk about what happened yesterday, but I've got something more important to ask you, Lilith," Julie said as she continued to eat, looking very serious.

"Yes, I'm listening, Julie," I replied almost instinctively, but I hope it won't be something too hard for me.

"I'd like you and Izzy to infiltrate your old castle so that we can get back some of the documents they stole from us a long time ago. " I didn't know Dad stole documents from them.

"Yes, I'd like to help, but the location of the documents is really well guarded, you know." I respond, Dad always made sure that this place was really secure and even though he's not here anymore, I don't think he'll change.

"Don't worry about it Izzy will be there to distract them and you Lilith will get the documents back you know."

"Well, I'll do whatever it takes to complete this mission," I say as I stand up and sit down again, because I realize that this is a real shame.

"You seem to be extremely well motivated, sweetheart, so I'm sure it will go well." she said as she gave me a kiss.

I don't know why, but I have a really bad feeling, like something's going to go wrong.

We finish breakfast, and then I put on an appropriate outfit for the mission that awaits me. Finally in the afternoon Izzy comes to join me.

She asked me, "Are you ready?" Of course I was ready to leave physically, but mentally I still had some questions, why would mum and sister have killed dad and in any case I would have refused to become queen, so I don't understand.

"Let's go sweetheart." Izzy took my hand and teleported us a few feet away from my old castle, which hadn't changed at all in five months.

I had no idea what had happened here after I left, but I didn't see anyone outside the village and I thought it was really strange, people were always out and talk and even the children weren't there, so what could have happened here?

" Concentrate Lilith, now our mission is about to begin." We headed for the castle and after two minutes we were there, there were guards standing watch, but I knew a place where we could enter unnoticed.

"Follow me, I know where we can go without being noticed."

I took her hand, and we passed through a bush that led to a cave, I had found this passage when I was a child when I played chase with Lise, she never found me.

We continue on our way and once we enter the castle I stop to explain things to Izzy.

"I've got to get the key to this room from my mum's room first and then we'll meet up afterwards."

"Fine, but please be careful not to get caught." She doesn't have to worry about that, I won't be noticed.

I head for my mother's room as quickly as possible, and then I finally get inside. I know exactly where she usually leaves the key and I quickly find it. I hear a voice, so I assume that mum is coming to her room, the only problem is that there is nowhere I can hide.

"I wish so much that no one could see me." It's really silly what I'm thinking, Mum will find me here, and then she'll kill me.

The door opens and Mum comes in, but strangely she doesn't seem to notice me, have I become transparent?

" I miss Lilith so much." she says as she throws herself on her bed, how can she say she misses me when she's the one who chased me away.

"I hate those damned demons, they threatened us, then they killed my husband, and then that damned princess took my Lilith with her. "

What the hell is she talking about, you chased me away, and I don't really know who killed Dad, I wasn't there when he got stabbed.

"The worst thing is that Lilith followed her, I really was such a bad mother, I wish I'd looked after her better for you Lisa."

Lisa, who is Lisa and why have I never heard her name mentioned before.

Someone opens the door and enters the room.

"My dear Queen, you are wanted by the ministers." Mum gets up and leaves with the guard and I take the opportunity to leave the room at the same time.

I don't really know what happened, but I feel like I'm invisible, I walk past a mirror and I can't see my reflection. I stay in front of the mirror and I think very hard to become visible again and as if by chance I see my reflection, maybe I'm not really human like the dragon told me.

"You are here Lilith, what took you so long?"

I didn't even notice that Izzy was there.

"Yeah, sorry I had to hide, but now we can go to the document room." I don't know why, but I really felt like I was doing something wrong.

We headed for the room and to my surprise there was no one guarding the room as if it was worthless now. I opened the door with the key and we both went inside, there were no documents left as if we had warned them of our arrival or rather that someone had been here before us.

" Let's go back to the castle there nothing here ." I said to Izzy, but she looked a bit angry and I didn't really understand why.

"Yes, let's go." She took my hand and then teleport us back to our castle.

"So how did your mission go?" asked Julie, we were in what you might call the meeting room.

"Bad, I couldn't bring any documents back, everything was empty. "Julie and Izzy looked at each other.

"Lilith, would you mind stepping out of the room, please, I'd like to talk to Izzy."

" All right." I say before leaving the room, but I have a much better plan as I think about becoming invisible then I look at my arm and see that it has disappeared, so I went back into the room to listen to their conversation.

"Mum what are we going to do, I thought with this documents we would know what is the weapon with which the humans have been holding us in check for so long. "

"Don't worry about it Izzy, everything is going to be fine and they won't launch any offensive as long as their beloved princess is with us. " That what Mum said earlier, it was like they were holding me hostage.

"And by the way, how did you get the idea to bring her with you?"

"It's very simple mum. After I went after Jade, my traitorous sister I don't even understand how she could love humans so much just to think about them it disgusts me."

"Just tell me what's next instead of overreacting about this trait."

"Well, I chased her into Elspeth's forest, heard footsteps and decided to hide, then a wolf came to Jade, then Lilith." she paused for a moment to catch her breath.

"I saw the moment they fought, and then I noticed straight away that Lilith was falling in love with Jade. Then a genius idea came into my head I was going to pretend to be the person Lilith had met and the trick was on, the only thing I would say that was hard for me to do was to reproduce her body odor, but I did it."
