Invited By Trouble (Part-1)

We both sat down on a bench. Blade said 'for me to do your teensy weensy me, I have a deal, and the deal is that.

I said ' that, I have to make your sandwiches?'

He said 'no, I don't want your sandwiches'

I said 'why not, they are tasty'

He said 'I don't care, what I want is..'

I said 'what do you mean by you don't care about my sandwiches, are you implying that you hate me and that my cooking is bad'

(Blade's thoughts: what's wrong with this guy I am wanting to talk to him about what I want and this guy is blabbering about his cooking, did he lose his mind after all the running)

He said 'are you crazy?, or are you just trying to avoid talking about what I want

I am just trying to avoid Blade because this guy is going to give me a quest which I can't complete.

I have suffered a lot in these last two days. I am not going to suffer more from his deal.

I said 'I choose option 5'

He said 'just listen to what I say just once'

I said 'just once'

He said 'I want you to take care of all the consequences which are associated with you changing the tax system'

I said 'what no way I am doing that'

He calmly said 'then no way I am doing all your message writings to the people of the kingdom'

Well this is a tough choice it says would you rather write till your fingers fall off or will you get your head cut off.

But the twist is you may get your head cut off even if you write.

That's because if someone suddenly comes to me and says to pay more taxes, I may choose to rebel and cut their head off.

I thought for a moment and said ok because I would rather suffer one consequence than two.

A week later.

( Steven pacing around the room)

I am so impatient.

Impatient of what you may ask.

It's about the taxes.

Well, it's been a week since I made all the changes and there hasn't been a single problem.

No death threats, No people protesting, no people spreading rumours, no assassination attempts, nothing that is super high level strange.

Every time someone knocks on my door I think that they come to tell me that there's trouble but no.

But during this time most people paid their taxes which made things a little easier.

(Knock, Knock)

Someone's at the door gotta act royal.

I made myself clear and said 'yes, come in

Blade came into my room with a scroll in his hand.

I asked 'what is that thing?'

He said 'trouble which you caused'

Ha, finally someone activated their brains and chose to rebel.

'Who is it I asked

He said 'it's your aunt, her name is …'
