Lost and alone

Couldn't find my way

I tried so hard

But everything stayed

The same.

A glow out of the dark;

Your hand to my heart

And I am found.

Safe and warm

Free of the storm

Of my demons inside me;

Their insides now torn.

A golden thread

Tying our wrists together

By this time next sun

Our future begun.

Entwined fingers lifted

Adorned are the crowns

That rest on our heads

Ruling our pack

Safe and sound.
