Episode 7

After returning to his office, Anthony resumed his work. Seeing Anthony continue his work, Brian and Armand return to their respective desks and continue their own work. A few hours later, Anthony received a call.

Anthony : "Hello?"

Diane : "Dear, you won't be late at home tonight, are you?"

Anthony answered his phone without looking at the caller while still doing his job. But after hearing his wife's voice, Anthony's hands were stopped moving unconsciously and all of Anthony's attention focus on Diane.

Anthony : "I won't"

Diane : "Really? Then I'll cook something for dinner. You can look forward to it."

Diane sounded very pleased with Anthony's curt reply. Anthony smiled a little subconsciously when he heard his wife's cheerful voice. And Anthony's mood improved too.

Anthony : "Okay"

After that Diane hung up the phone. Even though the call had ended, Anthony still holding his phone. Anthony was quietly looking forward to today's dinner and worked more enthusiastically because of it.

A few moments later, Anthony's office door opened without a knock. Only three people were allowed into Anthony's office without knocking, those were Brian, Armand, and Anthony himself. Even Harry had to knock first, but Harry often walked in rudely. As expected, Brian came in with a bunch of files.

"Boss, please check this!"

Brian immediately put files to Anthony's desk without waiting for Anthony's answer. Anthony was a little annoyed with the files that kept coming to him. With this many files, Anthony worried he would be late for dinner. Determined not to be late for dinner, Anthony quickly work on the files Brian just brought in.

While Anthony was going through the files, Brian accompanied and watched Anthony closely by the side.

Having worked under Anthony for years, Brian could tell his Boss expressionless mood easily. Brian was confused when he knew his Boss's mood has changed.

At the same time, Armand also handed files to Anthony's desk.

"Mr. Jack, please check at this too!"

Looking at the files got increase again, Anthony frowned slightly but still doing his works. Anthony became expressionless again as usual.

Brian who couldn't hold back his curiosity whispered to his co-worker Armand about the shocking thing he had just realized.

"Did something good happen to the Boss?"

"What do you mean?"

Armand couldn't immediately understand what Brian meant and asked him in the same manners.

"Don't you think, the dark aura has dissipated a bit?"

Brian helplessly explained to Armand while whisper. At Brian's words, Armand glanced at Anthony. Armand, who has been with Anthony longer than Brian, can certainly see the changes in Anthony at a glance. Armand could not believe what he saw himself.

"It's true."

"So did something happen?"

Armand thought for a moment and tried to remember what happened at the office after they came back from the training ground. However, no matter how many times Armand tried to remember, Armand couldn't remember anything special happened and only remember Anthony and himself working as usual quietly at their respective desks.

"No, nothing happened."

"Are you sure?"

"Well, apart from him got a call from his wife, we are working together quietly as usual."

Armand and Brian continue whispered to each other. They were really curious what had happened to Anthony. An Anthony who is always expressionless, stubborn and won't budge at anything was on mood swings, of course this has its own importance.

"What are you two whispering about?"

Anthony glance at the two right-hand men who were whispering to each other. Armand and Brian immediately stopped discussion and acted as if nothing happened.

"Ah… we are planning to have dinner together"

Brian was flustered and said whatever he could think of as a diversion so Anthony wouldn't know if they were gossiping about Anthony himself.

"Dinner?"

Anthony was intrigued by the word "dinner" and looked at Brian. Anthony's gaze mean, Brian has to continue talking. While Brian, who thought his words would only pass through and got ignored, didn't think it would pique his Boss interest instead. Brian became more flustered but Anthony continued to stare at him waiting for Brian to continue.

"Yes, sir. There's a new restaurant that just opened in the West born street."

Seeing Brian flustered, Armand decides to help Brian and adds an argument to Brian's statement to make it look more convincing.

"Is that so?"

Anthony became more interested. Anthony then looked at his right-hand men carefully. Of course, this made Armand and Brian nervous.

"Do you guys often have dinner together?"

For some reason Anthony's question sounded a little strange to Brian and Armand. But even though they felt a little strange and awkward, Armand and Brian still answered Anthony's questions honestly.

"Yes, we always have lunch together and we will eat dinner together occasionally. Sometimes we also eat together with other co-workers too."

"I see"

Anthony felt he was an outcast who was abandoned by his friends. Anthony always dined with his clients or went to fancy restaurants alone to grab a quick meal. Anthony felt a little disappointed with them and continued to stare at them.

"Could it be, do you want to join us?"

Armand based on the atmosphere. It was also a form of consideration because for some reason Armand felt a little guilty. On the other hand, Brian looks nervous when Armand invites his Boss to have dinner together. Brian didn't really want to eat with his Boss because it would feel very formal and uncomfortable.

"No. I'm going to have dinner with my wife"

Anthony, who felt a little hurt because he never got invited to eat together, boasted at his dinner with his wife. Meanwhile, Armand and Brian were too busy feeling relieved that they didn't notice Anthony's bragging.

To be honest, Armand who is also a close friend of Anthony's often eat together with Anthony in private. But considering everything that had happened since this morning, Armand didn't really want to eat with Anthony right now. Although Armand won't refuse if Anthony asked him because Armand will always be ready whenever Anthony needs him.

Meanwhile, Brian always feels overwhelmed when eating with his Boss. Brian feels it's enough to eat with his Boss on formal occasions. If he has to eat with his Boss privately, Brian worried that he will get indigestion.

"Okay, enjoy your dinner"

"Yes, we will."

Armand and Brian then back to their jobs. On the other hand, Anthony seemed to be thinking about something then took out his phone and wrote a message.

Anthony : I'll pick you up after work

Diane : Really? Then, I will wait for you.

After the short message, Anthony's mood returned to normal and continued his work with a light heart. Armand peeked at Anthony again and saw Anthony's mood had back to normal. Armand decided to make his report which was delayed due to Anthony's mood.

"Mr. Jack, Mr. Lucas has entered his dormitory and have been adapt to his new environment. When will you allow him to start working?"

Anthony looked like he was considering something and didn't answer Armand right away, even though he had actually made up his mind ever since he asked Lucas from the Instructor.

"He will be Mr. Jack's new personal bodyguard. Formally, he will have the same rank as bodyguard Anthony. He will work together with bodyguard Anthony and take turns training the bodyguards."

Anthony turned to Armand with a sly smile. But Armand did not budge and used at Anthony's shrewdness and silently listened to every Anthony's instructions.

"That's his job in the contract, even though he will be fully responsible of the bodyguards training. But you will make it looked exactly as the contract say. We can't violate the contract, aren't we?"

Anthony smiled slyly as he continued to watch Armand closely. Armand still remained unmoved and listened to Anthony tentatively. Before Armand could bow and reply to Anthony, Anthony continued his instructions.

"Make it tomorrow!!"

Armand was silent and looked at Anthony. Armand then saw a cocky face that really annoying. Armand tried his best not to curse and control his expression as it was still working hours and Anthony currently was his superior and not a friend that he could curse at any time.

"Yes, Mr. Jack"

Armand took Anthony's orders with disgusted. After feeling that his report was finished, Armand intended to return to his desk and continue his work.

"Armand, where's Harry?"

Hearing his name being called once more, Armand stopped then turned to Anthony to answer Anthony's question.

"I don't know where he is. Would you like me to call him?"

"Hmm, no, I'll call him myself"

Armand went back to work and didn't even care about Anthony's intentions looking for Harry. Armand already had enough work to worry about and didn't have time to care at others. On the other hand, Anthony took out his phone and make a call.

Harry : "Tonny?"

Anthony : "Do you know the exact location of his hiding place?"

Harry was confused for a bit. But not long after that, Harry realized that Anthony was referring to the mission's target location.

Harry : "He's in the southwest district 5"

Anthony thought for a moment then frowned at indecisive answer.

Anthony : "I need a more detailed location"

Harry : "I know. I'm still investigating at the moment. I'll try to find out more"

Anthony was about to end his call with Harry, but he suddenly remembered something strange about district 5.

Anthony : "Do you know the famous nickname for district 5?"

Harry : "Yes, the devil's lair."

Harry sounded grim as he answered. Anthony also steadied himself as their conversation became more serious.

Anthony : "Right, investigate the nickname. There must be a reason why he went to that place. Also find out if someone is trying to protect him."

Harry : "Right, he wouldn't survive if he didn't have a good backing. No, he wouldn't even be able to escape without someone's help."

When the two reached that conclusion, Anthony and Harry's faces grew tense as the seriousness of the matter escalated.

Anthony : "You have to be careful."

Harry : "Don't worry, I'm not that weak. I'll let you know if there's any news"

Both ended the call with tense faces.

After working hours

Anthony had done all his work perfectly and getting ready to go home and pick Diane up. Suddenly he heard the sound of someone rushing into his office.

"Boss, Boss, please check these proposals immediately before you leave!!"

Anthony saw Brian gasping while handing over several files that looked like proposals that need to get Anthony's approval.

"No, work time is over!"

However, Anthony sticks to his new principles. Brian was horrified and panicked. Brian was so helpless and finally bow down on his knees, hugged Anthony's legs and pleaded with Anthony while whining.

"No, no, Boss, please… these are all urgently important proposals!!"

Anthony got annoyed at Brian who refuses to let go of his leg even though Anthony has swung his leg several times to get out of Brian's arms.

"You should bring it to me earlier, it's already past 5pm!"

Anthony looked at Brian in annoyance and intended to put more strength into his swing. But before that, Armand, once again tried to help Brian.

"Mr. Jack, how about you check the proposal at home?"

Seeing his two right-hand men pleading at him pitifully, made Anthony think for a moment. Anthony then decided to give in and accept his right-hand men request.

"Right. Most importantly, Boss need to checked and approve the proposals today so I can process it tomorrow."

Before Anthony agrees to Armand's request, Brian adds up an argument to convince his plea. Brian's argument made Anthony a little suspicious. Anthony decided to interrogate him a bit.

"Can't you bring this to me tomorrow?"

"No Boss. I've made a reservation with the client tomorrow. Therefore, the proposal should be finished by today."

Anthony and Armand are surprised by Brian's confession. Armand could only touch his forehead and wonder if Brian was being too honest or innocent or just stupid. If only Brian had waited a little longer, Armand was sure that Anthony would have granted their request. But because of Brian's sudden confession, this matter will drag on a little longer.

"How can you make an appointment with the clients when the proposal isn't ready yet? What if the proposal is not approved? What would you say to them? What are you doing all this time for the proposals to be ready just now? If you had made an appointment with the client, you should have done the job quickly with that in mind!! Do I have to teach you from the start?"

"I... I'm sorry, Boss."

Brian was startled when Anthony suddenly scolded him, but Brian didn't dare to let go of Anthony's legs. Luckily Anthony never hurt his subordinates no matter how upset he was. Even now Anthony could kick Brian out of anger, but Anthony didn't.

On the other hand, Anthony wanted to scold Brian even more, but remembering his promise to Diane, Anthony didn't want to waste any more time. Anthony then decided to let Brian go for the time being.

"Okay. I'll let you go, just this once."

Brian instantly brightened up and smiled in relief. Brian finally let go of Anthony's leg and stopped crying. Brian wanted to cheer out of joy, but Brian held back, because he knew that his Boss was still annoyed with him.

"Thank you, Boss!!"

Anthony accepted the proposals Brian brought and left the room hurriedly. When Anthony left, Brian and Armand heaved a relief almost at the same time.

"Thank you in advance, Mr. Armand"

Brian thanked and smiled cheerfully at Armand because Armand had helped Brian out.

"That's no big deal. Anyway, do you need help with those proposals? Mr. Jack is having dinner with his wife tonight, so maybe he'll check them after dinner. Are you okay with waiting that long?"

"No need Mr. Armand. I've finished everything and just need the Boss approval."

"That's too reckless. What if Mr. Jack refuses or wants to change the content of the proposal? All your preparation and hard work will be gone in vain!!"

"You don't have to worry, Mr. Armand. The client is the Bleash company. Everything related to Bleash company always runs smoothly. You know, our Boss was really tolerant against that company. The terms he puts on Bleash and with our other partners were very different. I think, the Boss really favour the Bleash company. "

"Really? Maybe it's because Mr. Jack knows President Bleash's company personally?"

"No, no, no. I don't think so. Our Boss knows a lot of presidents from other companies personally too, but none of them was treat as good as the Bleash company."

"What are you trying to say?"

Armand was getting impatient with Brian round away about speaking, but Armand was still steadily waiting for Brian's explanation.

"Mr. Armand, I think it's because of our Boss's wife."

"Mr. Jack's wife?"

Armand was even more confused when Diane, Anthony's wife was suddenly mentioned out of the blue. Brian then tried to explain patiently.

"Yeah. Doesn't she work for the Bleash company?"

"That's true. But is that even relate? Mr. Jack is a rational person, he won't mix his personal affairs with his work."

Armand believes that Anthony was workaholic and won't let anything interfere with his work, including his friends or family.

"Do you really think so? I know you've known the Boss longer than me, but are you 100% sure that you fully understand the Boss' way of thinking?"

"No! No matter how smart I am, I still can't understand or follow his extraordinary way of thinking. Harry might still be able to understand him a little, whereas I can only obey his orders without fail."

"Right!!"

The two of them chatted while finishing their work to go home and have dinner together. They both wanted to refresh their mind from the various things that happened today, therefore they decided to make Brian's words that he said out loud at Anthony to happen.

Bleash company

Meanwhile, Anthony, whom Armand and Brian talked about, has arrived at Bleash company front door to pick up his wife. Anthony saw his wife was waiting for him at the door of the company. Anthony stopped in front of Diane. Then Diane got into her husband's car.

"Dear, can we stop at the market first?"

"Market? Why?"

"We need to buy the ingredients for dinner"

"Is that so?"

"Yes, let's go to the market"

Anthony had never been to the market before. He always ordered his subordinates to provide his necessity or go to a restaurant if he wanted to eat. Moreover, Anthony owns a lot of restaurants, he could have called the manager of one of his restaurants to deliver his food too.

"Okay"

Diane smiled and Anthony drove his car to the market.

In the market

Once they arrived there, Diane and Anthony started selecting the materials they needed. In the main time, Anthony always beside Diane. In the middle of shopping, Anthony got a call. the caller was Harry.

"Diane, I have to take this call"

"Oh, sure. Find me when you're done"

"Yes"

Anthony made some distance from Diane to take Harry's call. Diane, who thought it was a work relate call like the last time, allowed her husband nonchalantly. Diane continued looking around and selecting the items she wanted to buy.

Harry : "I've investigated about the nickname"

Anthony : "How is it?"

Harry : "I think this mission is a bigger problem than we thought. Even I was surprised when I got the result. Anyway, I've sent the results to your email. Don't forget to check it out this time!!"

Anthony : "And the other things?"

Harry : "It took me some more time than expected to find it. I will notify you immediately if there is any news"

Anthony : "Be careful!!"

Harry : "Don't worry! I told you, I'm not that weak!"

Anthony : "No, we have our own target already. But maybe there's a bigger enemy waiting for us and we still don't know anything them."

Harry : "I got it. Alright, I'll be extra careful. So don't worry."

Harry ended the call. Anthony pondered for a moment but decided to think about it later and decided to find his wife first and continue their shopping.

Anthony's House

Arriving at the house, Diane immediately prepared dinner and Anthony went to take a shower. After taking a shower, Anthony immediately checked the email sent by Harry while waiting for his wife to finish cooking dinner.

From the report, it is said that district 5 is ruled by 7 great devils known as the demon kings. Each demon king has its own territory, confidants and followers.

The 7 great devils are, Lucifer (pride) who reigns in the central part of the district, Asmodeus (lust) who rules in the eastern part of the district, Astaroth (laziness) who rules in the southeast part of the district, Leviathan (envy) who rules in the southern part of the district, Beelzebub (greed) ruled in the southwest district, Abaddon (wrath) ruled in the western district, Mammon (greed) ruled in the northern district.

There is also the demon king Azazel (darkness), but even though he is a demon king like the others, he does not belong to the 7 great devils, has no territory and his current location was unknow. It is said that something happened in the past that caused Azazel to be removed from the list of the great devils.

Anthony : Do more research on Demon King Azazel

Harry : Alright

Anthony frown because he felt his mission was getting more complicated. If "that person" was found in the Southwest like Harry's report said, then "that person" most likely have the protection of the demon king Beelzebub. Considering "that person" abilities, "that person" will have a lot of offers from the demon kings. If that person has a special position, it will be even more difficult to recapture him.

Anthony was annoyed because this mission was not like his previous missions. Usually, Anthony gets mission to assassinate a high rank people, assault certain gangs, capture a certain people, infiltrate and gather information, or even went into battlefields. "Dear, dinner is ready"

Anthony awoke from his daydream when his wife called him and headed straight to the dining room for dinner with his wife which he had been waiting for. Anthony then forgot the complicated mission for a while.

"I'm going on a business trip the day after tomorrow."

Diane stopped eating and saw her husband suddenly told her an unexpected news in the middle of dinner. Meanwhile, Anthony looked nonchalant and continued eating his food, it was as if what he had just said was no big deal.

"Is this the business trip Mr Harry said yesterday?"

"Yes"

Diane was silent. Meanwhile, Anthony was still as indifferent as before and didn't even notice that his wife was on a verge of tearing up.

"For how long?"

"I don't know. I'll try to come back as soon as possible"

Diane smiled helplessly. Diane touch her husband's hand and kissed Anthony's cheek. Anthony was surprised by Diane's kiss and turned to Diane. Diane smiled when her husband finally saw her.

"Yes, please go home as soon as possible. I will miss you."

Anthony nodded to Diane and his determination to complete his mission as quickly as possible grew stronger. Anthony considered his desire to bomb District 5 one more time.

After dinner, Anthony went over the proposals he had brought. Diane, who saw her husband bringing his work home, approached him slowly.

"Dear, you brought your work home? How unusual!!"

"In exchange for my night shift, I have to finish this at home."

Diane hugged her husband lovingly who was working from behind. Anthony answered Diane as he continued to work and let Diane hug him.

Anthony felt that he didn't mind Diane coming to him while he was working, although he usually didn't like to be disturbed while working even for a little bit. In the past, Anthony's women always did anything for Anthony's attention, including disturbing Anthony while he was working. A lot of women would rudely sit on Anthony's lap, lean on Anthony and even grope him, when Anthony was busy with his work. Of course, this made Anthony angry and cut off his relationship with the relate women.

But now, Anthony didn't even mind if Diane wanted to be more intimate with him, like sitting on Anthony's lap right now or taking him to bed right away. Unfortunately, Diane didn't know that facts.

"Hmm? I thought the bodyguard's job was only to look after their clients, but it turns out there's written work too."

Anthony saw his wife looking at him curiously. He caressed his wife a few times then went back to work.

"Besides escorting Mr. Jack, I have a duty to train the company bodyguards as one of the supervisors in the company. I'm working on their data right now."

Anthony answered Diane without batting an eye, even though what Anthony had said were complete lies. Meanwhile, Diane who look at Anthony attentively, feels that Anthony also looks charming when he is seriously working. Even though, there is no change in Anthony's poker face.

"Do you need help?"

"No need. This is their private and confidential information. I can't reveal it to anyone."

Diane smiled at her hard-working husband. Diane decided not to pursue him any further. Diane then kissed her husband's cheek. After a few kisses in the past, Anthony was used to Diane's sudden kiss and wasn't surprised anymore.

"Then, I'll make your favourite tea for you."

Diane decided not to bother her husband who was working and decided to show her support for him. Diane went to the kitchen to make Anthony's favourite tea.

After 3 hours later, Anthony finally finished all his work and sent all the files to Brian. When he realized his tea had run out, Anthony came out of his study to get a glass of water. Then Anthony saw Diane sleeping on the couch with the tv still on. Anthony turned off the tv and moved Diane into the bedroom and went to get some water. After drinking, Anthony returned to his bedroom to sleep with his wife.

"You're awake? Sleep some more, it's not morning yet."

When Anthony entered the room, Diane was awake and sat on the bed smiling at Anthony. Diane looked like she was waiting for Anthony to come.

"I'm waiting for you, Dear."

Diane waited for her husband to approach her. Anthony, who intended to sleep, approached the bed to sleep. After Anthony lay down on the bed, Diane put her head on Anthony's chest and hugged him tightly. Anthony let Diane do whatever she wants and gently caress Diane's head. Diane felt happy and comfortable with Anthony's caress.

Diane lifted her head to see Anthony's face. Anthony seemed to have closed his eyes, but Diane knew her husband wasn't asleep yet, because Anthony was still gently caressing her. Diane then saw something on her husband's neck. Diane subconsciously approached her husband's neck to get a better view.

"Are you going to bite my neck again?"

Diane stopped out of surprised at her husband's words. Anthony was still closed his eyes, but his hands had stopped caressing Diane's head.

"You seem to like my neck a lot"

Anthony opened his eyes and turned to Diane. When Diane lock eyes with Anthony, Diane blushed and her heart beat very fast. Diane reflexively hid her head in her husband's chest, but still hugged him tightly.

"My friend saw the marks and helped me hide the marks. But it must be removed when I showered and the marks visible again."

Diane was getting more embarrassed and her face turned red. Diane realized that what she saw were the marks she gave her husband last night.

"So what? You're mine after all!"

Diane tried to fight her embarrassment and acting nonchalant. Anthony was staying quietly listened to his wife. At the other hand, because her husband was silent, Diane brace herself to look at him again.

"I can't deny that."

Anthony nonchalantly agreed with Diane while continuing to watch his wife. Then Anthony's hand, which had stopped caressing Diane and sitting on top of Diane's head, started to come down and touch the rest of Diane's body. Diane was surprised by her husband's sudden touches.

"De... Dear?"

Diane then realizes that her husband is making fun of her. Diane looked annoyed and pouting at Anthony, but Anthony remained calm as if nothing had happened at all, but it's different with Anthony's hands who is getting wilder.

"Why? I'm yours and you're mine, right? How about I give you the same thing you gave me last night?"

Diane's face turned red and she nodded in agreement. Then Anthony continued his action and his movements became more aggressive. And they did it a few times that night.
