Later that day, a carriage came to the gates of the academy. A familiar face from the game appeared. My guess, is that the character that had extensive knowledge about how those stones worked, and how to use them, was that person. He was the original writer of the magical journal you will be given in-game called「Le Journal d'Allard de Magie」literally translating to "Allard's Journal of Magic".

"Alright, students. This gentleman right here, is the mind behind the immense amount of research that have been found out about the prior mentioned 'Magical Stones'. He goes by the name of「Agustin Allard」, he is the Co-Founder of the Beauchene Company, the corporation that is responsible for the discovery of these stones, he has been sent by the duke to be the one to educate and distribute to you the amulets."

The principal gladly introduces the gentleman as he walks to greet us all, we give our warm welcomes.

"Greetings, students of the Garmunton Royal Academy. I will be delighted to guide you through the various lessons I've prepared for your Magical Studies."

[A generous amount of greetings are heard, almost in unison.]

"Emie-sama, I can't wait for us to be learning together, and just us alone."

"Commoner! do not anger me now, and I need you to stop imagining what you are imagining right now!"

"I'm sorry, I love you."

"Kiiii..."

I think I'm about to explode, she's just too adorable when she gets frustrated. Erika-chan, beside me notices the situation and intuitively executes proper maneuvers.

"Aiko-chan, do you ever stop fantasizing about this poor woman?"

"ACHACHACHA! ERIKA, THAT HURTS!"

"From now on, I'll pull on your ear whenever you do something wrong again, got it?"

"Erika, come on. That's harsh.. Pft.."

"Do you want to be next, Louiz-sama?"

"My apologies."

"..."

"Fufufu.. Serves you right, commoner!"

That was painful! To be left alone by one and getting ear-pulled by the other.. At least in the presence of Emie-sama's evil cackle did I recover immediately.

"Okay, children. Come along now, we shall distribute to you the amulets and garner your destined magical abilities."

"Yes, sir."

We eventually all have been given a blank, white, magical amulet, and are now being instructed to wear them. On the count of three we wore our amulets, one by one.

"One.. Two.. Three!"

"HAAAAAAA!!"

Emie-sama, by the distance is heard screaming. It seems she doesn't really take these kinds of things very well. Her eyelids are giving off a beam of white light, likely the process of the attribution. Still very concerning.

I wear the amulet.

"Oh dear.."

"hwwWAAA!"

"..."

[A long round of time suddenly passes.]

"Aiko!"

"Collins! Please open your eyes.."

I hear indistinct voices around me.. I open my eyes, and see the face of a beautiful, blonde angel right in front of me, as I am laying on a soft cushion.

I say in a confident manner, with a rather curious smile:

"Emie-sama, what are you trying to do now? Hm.. have you finally realized my love for you, perhaps?"

"..!"

Emie-sama backs away from me, almost instantly after I say that.

"D-don't come into sudden conclusions, tch!"

I rub my eyes and notice Louiz-sama sitting next to Allard-sensei and Emie-sama beside the chairs., I don't see Eri anywhere, though.

"Ho, We're glad you're awake now, Ai."

"Certainly, we're happy you're safe, Collins-san."

"..."

"Thank you for looking after me, but before anything, may I ask where Erika-chan is?"

[Meanwhile, Erika-chan has been biting her nails off from all the worrying outside the infirmary.]

"Hold on, I'll go get her."

Louiz-sama goes outside to inform Erika.

"Erikaaa, your precious child is awa-"

"..Erika?"

"AIKO! I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE ALIVE!"

"DON'T EVER MAKE ME WORRY LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN!"

"..."

Alive? What's been going on in her head? Is she out of her mind..!? She hugs, no.. rather, she squeezes me between her arms, nearly suffocating me.

I ask Allard-sensei what has happened.

"Collins-san, I'm truly happy that you've awoken. If I must tell you what I think might have occurred, I shall tell you tomorrow, for I've stayed here far too long from my schedule. But for now, I shall leave the chatting between you and Couture-sama here, if you wish."

"HAA?! Why did I suddenly get involved in your conversation?!"

"Emie-sama, calm down for a bit, why don't you? Allard-sensei is speaking."

"Hmph..!"

"Ahah, why frown, Couture-sama? It's only a chat between friends, isn't that right?"

"...Friends?! We're not friends! When would we be even considered friends?!"

"Emie-sama is correct, for we are young women deeply in lo-"

"STOP right there!"

"I'm deeply sorry."

"Now now, calm down, you too. Anyhow, I will leave the speaking to you both, for now. Do not worry, I will be here tomorrow, I will tell you about the occurrence at that time. I will be on my way now."

"Yes, Allard-sensei, thank you for putting us under your care. We appreciate it very much."

[A dozen of goodbyes are sent to the teacher.]

[Moments later]

After a long verbal match between Emie-sama and I, where all attempts of my friends to prevent it. We all eventually got to the point of complete exhaustion.

"Hsss.. Commoner, you've been a pain today! I hope you one day face the consequences!"

"What consequence? The only consequence I'd ever consider a consequence is not being able to see Emie-sama."

"YOU.."

"..."

"..."

The married couple comedy sequence ended that very moment. What a long day, not just for us but for everybody who made sure nothing extreme happened inside the infirmary, thank you for that. I'll find out about this sudden occurrence, tomorrow. But as of tonight, currently attempting to sleep with a sleeptalking teary-eyed mess of an Erika is my main problem. How sad, it's like I absorb problems like these daily!
