Looking at the phone I wondered whether to answer or not. This person who i once thought was nice and kind happen to have a bit of envy towards me i realised it that night.

I tried to reason with her but instead of understanding she got mad at me and walked away from me.

I even spotted her at the club when I was with Toby in New York. She followed Mike there i couldn't believe it at first but now I do.

She has crush on him but he doesn't and that is what made her angry or jealous as I thought about it.

And here she is calling me in the middle of the night as I was tired due to travelling and things happening in my life without warning is already too much to handle.

I ignored the call and went to the bathroom to have a shower, I took off my clothes and turn on the water.

As the water ran down my body, I couldn't help to think about everything. From the start, how I grew up in the orphanage.

Life was quite simple,I liked living there as I got older I saw kids getting adopted which made me envy them even more.

I was lucky to go to school, I studied hard until I got a sponsorship to harvard and studied humanitarian. I graduated and then one day as I was packing my suitcase I received a letter.

The woman who raised me miss Margaret gave me a letter and told me that she finally found a relative who lived here in miami and it turned out she was my aunt veronica.

I don't call her aunt but her name because I haven't got used to her yet. She's still my aunt though.

I was done showering and started drying my hair with towel when i suddenly heard a knock on the door.

"Come in " I said as I continued drying my hair.

"Hey sweetheart, brought you some milk and cookies, thought you might need it" she said as she put the tray on my bedside.

"Thanks veronica, I do need it" I answered her as I put the towel on the bed and went to the closet to get my pajamas.

"I know its late and you're tired, I hope we will have time to talk again" she said as she walked to the door.

I just smiled and nodded as she closed the door behind her. I changed and wore my pajamas and sat my the bed.

I looked at the try and took a piece of cookie and  took a bite. I then laid on the bed as I looked up and I thought about Toby and Mike.

I wonder if things would be different if I met them in different way and not like supernatural things ever existed at all and if I would have to make a different decision based on my choice and not because I might be part of werewolf pack.

All I hope and wish is to make a right decision and that i won't regret it at all.

Soon I felt sleepy, so I put back the cookie and drank the milk before I went to sleep.

As I put the glass down after finishing the milk my phone rang again, I looked at the caller it was none other than Nora.

In order to get over it I answered the call.

"What do you want Nora?" I asked after I answered the call.

"I want us to talk, meet me at library tomorrow after lunch" she said as she whispered.

"Well it's about time, why do you want to talk to me there when you can talk right now?" I asked curiously.

"Am on my way back to miami thanks to you, you keep making Mike follow you like a lost puppy" she said and then hanged up on me.

That was unexpected of her which made me wonder whether she followed him to new York as well or they came together as well.

At that time I thought I was hallucinating but it seems like I might be   right and I might find out a lot of things from everyone including her and veronica.

I quickly laid in the pillow and slept, it was already morning when I heard veronica knocking on the door to wake me up.

I stretched my body as I sat up on the bed,that's when Nora's words rang in my head.

I quickly got ready for school and ran down the stairs, as I walked to the kitchen, veronica had already prepared breakfast on the table and she was drinking coffee.

"Come and have your breakfast, it's been a while since we ate together" she said as she put the cup on the sauce.

"Thanks and am glad we get to do it again, I also want to apologise for shouting at you when I found out about everything" I said as I looked at her.

"It's OK lisa,besides am also at fault I shouldn't have kept you in the dark and I promise from now on no more secrets" she assured me and I was happy to hear that.

"Thanks veronica, I would love that as well,and from now on I'll do my best to listen to you as well" I said as we both held hands.

"Speaking of truth, why don't we meet after school,there's a lot of things I want to tell you?" She asked excitedly.

"Actually....how about tonight,I made a plan with a friend to meet up  in the library today" I said as I looked at my watch.

"Yeah sure no problem, after all school work comes first and don't worry I think  I'll be late myself anyway finish your breakfast" she said and I moved my hand to eat.

After that, she gave me a ride to school. I waved at her as she drove away, I stood there and I looked around, I saw people whispering as they point at me.

"Is that her? Was she the one that got into a fight and fainted last week?" I heard them asking each other.

I didn't know how I managed to here them say that while they were distance from me.

Suddenly, I felt the urge to cover my ears as their voices got so loud. I felt like I was going to faint again.

I lost my balance and fell backwards only to be held by someone's hands. I turned around to see Toby holding me up.

I stood up and Toby carried me to his car like he did last time,only this time I was conscious. He opened the door and I sat on the passenger's seat.

"Are you feeling OK?" He asked as he gave a bottle of water.

After drinking it, I took a deep breath I nodded at him.

"I think something is wrong with me, I keep hearing voices in my head and it's like I can hear people's thoughts and emotions" I said as I laid forward.

"I think your time is starting now,is there anything else happened since you came here?" He asked as he held my hands.

"Not yet I don't know please help me out Toby am scared " I said honestly.

"How about we meet after class and we can ditch school and go for a drive" he suggested.

"I would love that but I want to meet Nora after lunch maybe after that?" I asked.

"Wait Nora, why would you want to see her for?" He asked curiously.

"She called me last night to meet and honestly I want to know myself that's why am going to see her" I said as a got up.

"Call me if you need anything, I'll be waiting for you after school" he said and kissed me on the lips.

I nodded and went back to school, I was only three days away and I have missed alot of work especially in history class.

By the time I wrote down the notes, it was already lunch, so I missed it because there's no way I could have time to eat.

After I was done, I went to the library to meet Nora. I found her reading a book, so I put my bag on the table and sat across the table facing her.

"So what do you want to talk about that you couldn't tell me last night?" I asked as I was tired due to working on my laptop.

"I just want to tell you that you're the reason why there's enmity in our packs,if you hadn't been born we would all live in peace but your existence ruined everything" she said as her eyes changed ots colours.

"What are you talking about? Am confused?" I asked her but all she did was smirk and then stood up as she leaned forward.

"It seems like you've played your card wisely, it's weird and confusing how both alphas are willing to fight just to have you as their mate so better chose wisely" she said as she walked away.

I sat there dumb as I thought what she said and I didn't know what to do, out of nowhere my phone rang. I saw a message from Toby.

From Toby

Are you done talking to Nora? Waiting for you at the gate.

I found myself smiling at his text, I still haven't made up my mind so I just shook my head and took my bag.

I walked out of the library and went to the gate where I saw Toby leaning on his car as he looked my way.

Even after spending time with him, I still get goosebumps when I see him, his silver hair, as it covers his left eye and wearing black sunglasses and black trousers with long blue jacket.

If smile could kill his would definitely be the most dangerous one as he has both deep dimple.

I walked to him and hugged him and he hugged me back,I felt safe in his arms. I let him go and he pulled my face as I was a bit short so bend down to give me a kiss on my forehead.

I closed my eyes and he then leaned to give a kiss on the lips, at first I thought it was a peck but it turned out to be a passionate one.

After a minute he gave me a quick peck and opened the door for  me to get in. He then entered the driver's seat and asked me to buckle up.

"Are you ready for a long drive?" He asked as he started the engine.

"Yes am ready" I said as I looked at him and smiled.

At first we took  a long turn before we left the school soon he drove fast like we were on a race. I held my heart for a dear life as I have never been in a sport car before.

Soon I was enjoying it  as we passed by a police car which was chasing us from behind for the first time I saw him laughing as he kept driving past other cars.

"I hope you're enjoying this" he said as he kept passing by many more cars and the police car were trying to catch up to us.

I couldn't stop laughing as I looked back at them and waved at them. Despite what was happening now I still laughed with but I still couldn't figure out how to tell Toby  about it.

All my mind could hear was Nora's words....
