LISA'S DRESS ABOVE.

Lisa p.o.v

Out of fear I quickly bend down to take the pieces from the floor,as I picked up the pieces one of the glasses cut me and I screamed in pain and quickly covered my mouth when out of nowhere toby appeared in front of me and saw the mess.

Without a word he carried me inside the room and made me sit on the bed as he quickly went to grab the medical kit.

My eyes teared up as he cleaned the cut on my hand, he didn't even scold me. I guess he didn't bother much about the vase.

He put a bandage around my hand and kissed it. I got curious about what he was talking about to the other person and I took the opportunity to ask what he meant by protecting me.

"Am sorry I didn't mean to break it it was an accident" I murmured as I look down at my hand.

"Its ok lisa, there's nothing to apologise about, it's not like you've murdered someone or something" he said as he pulled my hand up and kissed it.

"Are you by any chance not telling me something?" I asked as he still held my hand and then let it go before he stood up.

I was about to let it be when he spoke which was something I didn't expect him to do.

I thought he would make up an excuse to ignore my question but I was surprised with what he said next.

"Yes there's something am hiding from you but it would be best if you don't know because it's the only way for me to protect you from what's about to happen" he said as he stood up and walked to the window.

"Protect me from who and what's going to happen? Don't you think I have right to know first before you do what you're doing now?" I asked as I walked towards him.

I so badly wanted to know what he was protecting me from, despite my eagerness to know everything maybe it was best if I don't know for now.

"You know what, despite how eager I am to know what you're hiding I think it's best if you tell me when you feel like telling me" I assured him as I turned him to look at me.

I could feel the relief he looked when he sighed as though he was holding his breathe.

I was scared to know what he was hiding but it's better if i don't for now,besides he probably doing this for own protection so it's best if i cut him some slack.

Soon we were ready to leave, he helped wear my jacket because of my hand since I cut myself out of panic when I broke the vase.

We walked inside the elevator which took us to the ground floor, he held my hand all the time as if he was going to lose me somewhere.

As we walked through the lobby towards the exit, the workers were greeting him with respect and by the time we came outside a limo was already waiting for us.

The driver opened the door and toby held my hand to help me get in first like a gentleman he was.

As I sat down he got inside,I noticed that partition was closed and I couldn't see the driver.

"Don't worry about it,he already know where to take us" toby said as he noticed how I was struggling to talk to the driver.

"By the way where are you taking me? You didn't tell me about the schedule for the day ?" I asked as I remembered not asking him about it as we were having different conversation as i eavesdrop in his conversation on the phone.

"Its a surprise, don't worry am sure you are going to like it" he said as he kissed my hand.

I leaned back and opened the window looking outside as I thought about everything, how my life instantly changed out of nowhere.

I was just a simple girl with normal life and all of a sudden am part of the world which I used to fantasiz and also being one of them as well.

I didn't even realise that we've reached our destination when I felt toby's hand on mine.

"You seemed lost for almost an hour are you alright?" He asked as he turned to look at me.

"Am fine, its just that things seemed to have changed drastically without even realizing it " I said as I looked at him while he pulled me  in for a peck on my cheek.

"Am glad you're fine besides we've reached our destination" he smiled as he pointed out.

We got out first and he helped me get out. I put my arm around his and we walked to an amusement park.

It was big and had alot of beautiful decorations. As we entered we paid at  the entrance or as I thought we were but he just took my hand we walked in.

"I thought you were going to pay at the entrance?" I asked confused by how the security didn't stop us from getting inside.

"I think you've forgot who owns the place or that you're used to ordinary life that you haven't realized that I own this place" he whispered to my ear as the place was crowded and noisy.

I didn't say a word and just followed him as he pulled me to merry-go-round which I hesitated at first because it was high and I have acrophobia and i was debating whether to go or refuse.

"Come on lisa, it's not that high,I'll hold your hand so don't be scared " he assures me as he gave me his hand to grab.

I sat in front of him as he held my hand, my heart was racing as the machine started working and I felt toby's hand on mine he didn't let go like he said he wouldn't.

After few rounds we went higher and I closed my eyes as I didn't want to look down or else I might pass out.

Suddenly I heard someone talking to me like they were beside me.

"Its ok to be afraid just let it go and face your fear lisa" he said it was toby's it was like he was closer to me.

I guess he felt it too, now its like we could communicate without saying words to each other.

And for the first time I opened my eyes and looked around as I saw people screaming and shouting others were laughing as we went higher.

I took a breath and let myself feel the wind as it blew my hair. Soon the machine stopped and it came to stop at its point.

I got up almost fell backwards but toby's hand was quick to hold me before I fell down.

We went to a restaurant and brought me food and water, we were eating when he excused himself to go to the restroom.

As I was drinking water, his phone buzzed and it was a message from his mom.

I was about to take the phone but toby came and I let it be.

"Your mom sent you a message"i told him as I finished eating.

"How did you know?" He asked as he looked at the phone.

"I saw her name I was about to see it but you came back just in time' I said as I looked at him while he texted back.

"Oh!that's fine" he chuckled and continued eating his burger.

"Do you mind if we go for a dance more like a night club" I suggested.

"Really?ok then let's go" he said without asking questions.

I was glad he was he was fulfilling my wishes though I wasn't sure why I suggested it but happy he was doing it for me.

After that he bought me cotton candy before we went back to the limo.

We stopped for shopping where I bought a dress and makeup.

As always, we entered the club and I I excused myself to go and change. I went to the bathroom and changed into the  blue short sun dress.

I applied makeup and styled my hair in

Half bun and applied red lipstick I looked myself in the mirror before I went back to see toby.

As I was walking towards him I bumped into a guy who quickly apologised as our eyes met I couldn't believe it was none other than mike.

"Mike, Lisa?" We both said in unison.

"What are you doing here in new York?" I asked as I was confused to see him.

"I found out that you came here with toby so I wanted to talk to you" he said looking around.

"I thought you were mad at me when I chose Toby over you and I wanted to talk to you you ignored me and now you're following me here are you for real?" I asked as I got angry by minute.

"I was angry that I didn't want to see you but I can't ignore the fact I have feelings for you lisa so please let talk for a minute outside" he pleaded.

"No, I wont listen to you mike not after the way you treated me" I grinned at him.

"I know am at fault but you have to listen to me fir..."

"And for what huh?!,you know what I don't want to see you ever again" I said as I cut him off before he could say what he wanted.

"You heard lisa you better leave before I ask the guards to do it" toby said as he stood behind me.

I couldn't believe that mike still had feelings for me even though he ignored me and now he was confessing to me.

"You're the one to talk that's funny man, you know what lisa don't believe what he told you because I never murdered anyone "mike said as he pointed at toby.

"What did you say? Murdered?" I asked as I looked at them confused.

"Now its not the time to discuss this" toby walked forward and tried to grab my hand but I didn't move.

That's when I remembered the call this morning he was talking about mike but the question is who was murdered and why did toby looked angry at mike.

Before I could say anything both mike and toby were holding my hands and I stood there in between not moving I froze ...
