I didn't understand why I had hope that Lisa would at least think about it before she made up her mind but I guess I should have taken the hint when Nora told me not to hope that Lisa might end up being with but I was so wrong to think about it even for a second.

there were times when I would think that we were made for each other especially that night on my birthday when Nora introduced us and had an amazing timeout when she told me that she was leaving my heart felt like It froze for a second, it stopped beating and the look on her face showed that she was sad about it.

I couldn't do anything to stop her, it was like she was determined to leave but now I think it would have been best if she did leave even though I would be heartbroken, now at this moment am still hoping that Nora would come with exciting news but she didn't even bother to come upstairs when she came back from the party.

I assumed she was tired and didn't bother her with questions instead I put blanket on her body as she laid on the sofa which was comfortable to sleep on, I took off her shoes and made sure she was sleeping comfortably before I went back to my room.

As I woke up the next morning with excitement that Nora would give me good news instead she ignored my questions and did her things like pretending I didn't exist which was so cruel of her, normally she would be the one to disturb me and tell me everything about her day.

But this time something was off and she ended up snapping at me, I was surprised by her attitude instead chose to ask her once we were in school compound.With excitement I decided to change my ride which made Nora even more angry but decided to go with it.

As we arrived at school I decided to make her tell me what Lisa said and as soon as she started talking I spotted Lisa coming out of toby's car and that's when I heard nora telling me about lisa's decision.

I was fuming with anger that I walked away from nora and walked past lisa, as I looked back I saw her on the ground while her head was on toby's lap.

Before I could react he quickly carried her to his car and I decided to follow them, I ran towards my bike, wore the helmet and started the engine but nora stopped me.

"Are you seriously going after them after breaking the news to you what can't you just stop" she said as she held my hand.

"Listen nora, I know what you said but I have to make sure she's fine ok now can you please move" I said as I started the engine.

She moved away and I drove away hoping to catch up with them, luckily I managed to see his car going to a nearby hospital so I stopped on another parking lot since there were many cars.

By the time I came inside I saw toby walking around the lobby as he looked at the door where lisa was admitted.

When he saw me he walked towards me and held my collar ready to punch me but he held back and pushed me away.

I tried to talk to him but he refused, he seemed disturbed and I waited until he calm down.

"She's going to be fine, it's not like she was attacked or shot" I said as i broke the awkward silence.

"I don't want to see you here, why are you even here in the first place? Didn't you walk away from her when she wanted to talk to you hmmm?" He asked as he walked to me.

"I know it's just I was furious knowing she chose you over me but that doesn't mean I'll back down if you think that" I said as I stood up.

We were face to face and if it wasn't for the security walking around we would be fighting like beasts.

"I'll give you fifteen minutes to see her and leave I don't want to cause trouble here with you" he said as he growled at me.

After that the doctor came and informed us that she was sedated and needs to rest for the next twenty four hours.

I walked inside the room where she was sleeping as she was wearing an oxygen mask and the monitor was beeping.

I sat on the chair and held her hand and kissed it, I apologised for causing her to be hospitalized and was about to kiss her forehead when someone entered.

"Mike, are you for real seriously we should leave now" nora said as she saw me going to kiss lisa's head.

"What now nora and how did you even found me?" I asked as I wasn't expecting her to come here.

"Listen to me well mike, it's best to leave before toby comes for you" she said as she came towards me and grabbed my arm.

Before I could protest, she pulled me outside the room and she looked around before we managed to leave the hospital.

Only to see toby leaning on my bike with his guards standing together with him.

As soon as he saw me I could see he was angry and I thought because he had grudge against me because of lisa but I was wrong.

As soon as he approached me, he told me that he found out that I murdered his dad and that he wants to avenge for his death.

I knew that I never wanted to kill him and it was all an accident but the look on his face showed that he wouldn't accept my explanation and he was mad that his dad died because of me.

He said that he will be planning our next meeting once he comes back, before I could ask he already disappeared.

"What are you going to do, he already found out about his dad's death?" Nora asked as she faced me.

"I don't know yet but I'll have to find away to convince him that it was all an accident and there was no intention for me to kill him" I said as I thought of what to do next.

"And how do you plan on doing that,its not like there were cameras that were recording the incident" nora said.

I tried to think of something that might help me but I couldn't think in this situation knowing that lisa was laying unconscious in the hospital while toby is planning to kill me or something.

"I think we should go and try to find out if he was lying or not what if he was just bluffing?" She asked as she looked curious.

"No nora, did you forget that he's a tycoon and can get information about anything he wants to know probably he  did an autopsy that way he found out about everything" I said as I know him well.

"Well you're not different from him either, you can get what you want and save yourself from him" she said as she smiled at me.

"I know what you mean I do want to save myself not that am a coward but I want to prove myself to be innocent" I said having little faith in myself.

I then took my helmet and nora joined mme,I drove to the jungle where my brother and I were taking a walk and managed to find the spot where toby's dad and I used to be.

As we drove to the place, I stopped by the road and we both went to the forest,  we walked together towards the place where toby's dad and I were.

Surprisingly I found someone there, I couldn't tell the person until she turned around, it was none other than veronica lisa's aunt.

"What are you doing here?" I asked  as nora and I walked towards her.

"I could ask you the same,don't tell me you're here to see if you can find something to help you to prove your innocence?" She asked as though she knew the reason I was here for.

"How did you even know we were coming here?" Nora asked as she looked at veronica.

"I had a vision that you were coming here so I came to see what you're going to do " she said as she turned away from us.

"By any chance, did you know that lisa is in the hospital, am sure toby might have informed you" I said changing the topic.

"What? Lisa? Hospital? How? What happened to my niece?" She asked me worried.

"She passed out at the entrance of the school so we took her to the hospital " I said hiding the fact that I am the reason she was there in the first place.

She then took out her phone and made a call to toby to find out what actually happened. With a hope that toby wouldn't say anything about it.

She asked him what happened after he picked up, little did I know I heard her asking him where he was taking lisa.

"Are you for real right now toby she's sick she's suppose to be in the hospital" she said as though she was disappointed with his act.

And why was she angry about it's not like he took her away or something.

"What happened to lisa?" I asked as she ended the call.

"It turns out that toby took her to new York and I don't have to worry because he has a doctor with him" she said as she shook her head.

"That's not possible, she was at the hospital when we left how did he even manage to get her discharged from the hospital?" I asked furiously as I couldn't believe his cruel behaviour.

"Unfortunately they have already left so there's nothing we can do only to hope she will be fine" veronica said.

I knew he was mad at me for his dad's death but taking lisa away was a big mistake he has made.

"And why are you mad for there's nothing you can do just let her go and move on" nora said as she stared at me.

"How do you expect me to do that, she's sick and that jerk took her away from her aunt" I said as I looked at veronica.

"You seem to forget she's not one of us and besides veronica herself knows what happened so let's just leave for now" she said pointing at her.

I knew what she meant so I agreed and was about to leave when veronica spoke.

"How will you prove your innocence if you give up on her so easily and it seems like your cousin here knows something" veronica said as she walked towards us.

"What are you saying?" Nora asked furiously as she looked at veronica.

They way she spoke made me wonder what could nora know that made her furious as veronica said that...
