chapter 44

Lisa p.o.v

I didn't understand nora's intentions and how she didn't bother to wait for me to be the one to tell mike myself but she beat me to it.

I remember the smirk she gave me while I was looking at mike who was furious with what nora said about me.

I heard toby's voice when he caught me as I fell unconscious and fell backwards but toby was quick to catch me.

Before I could close my eyes, I saw mike turning around to look at me as toby shouted my name. I closed my eyes and toby quickly carried me back into his Porsche and drove me to the hospital.

All the way he kept calling my name but I couldn't even open my eyes as it felt heavy to open them.

He gently carried me to the entrance and he laid me on a gurney where a doctor and nurses pushed me away yo a room.

I could hear voices around me as the doctor as he put oxygen mask on my nose, I was laid on the bed that was in the room.

I couldn't understand what was happening, I was unconscious yet I could hear things around me so I just listened and I heard toby and mike having an argument and I couldn't even open my eyes.

Little did I know I heard Mike's voice as he held my hand, I felt butterfly in my stomach. The moment was ruined by someone and that was none other than nora.

I didn't know why she followed him here,I just hoped she would leave us for a minute so that I could listen to mike as he wanted to say something when she interrupted him.

She whispered something and they both left before he left he whispered to me and said that he will come back at night to see me.

I felt like I wanted to open my eyes and talk to him but I couldn't so l let myself sleep for a while.

Soon I found myself being laid on a bed and it was quite, I heard toby talking to someone I didn't know and then left.

I didn't know how long I was unconscious, suddenly I opened my eyes and looked around, the wall wasn't the same as the blue walls.

As I was still sleepy, I laid my head back when I saw an flight attendance coming in with a towel. As soon as she saw me she put 5he towel on a table and walked out in a hurry.

I was shocked to realise that I was travelling in a jet with toby. I barely had time to think how he managed to get me here without being stopped by the doctor when he came in rushing.

"Lisa you're awake, thank God I'll get a doctor for you" he said as he motioned the air hostess to get a doctor.

As he got me a glass of water from the cabin where a jug of water was as I took it and drank it  as someone came wearing a doctor's jacket.

He took a stethoscope and put it in his ears as he listened to my heart beat, and removed it and put it around his neck.

"She's fine all she needs to take a bed rest and eat protein and drink alot of water" he said as he took his bag and walked out where toby followed him from behind.

After a while the hostess came with a tray full of food and I sat down on the bed and ate as if I haven't had food for a while.

After I was done, I laid back and that's when toby came back and joined me on the bed.

"How did you manage to get me out of the hospital without being stopped?" I asked as I laid on the pillow.

"I have connections and I took a doctor with me he's the one who examined you earlier " he said as he wrapped his arms around me.

I was glad that he's taking care of me but I didn't know is why he wants to take me with him when he won't be spending time with me and he will be taking over his dad's company.

"So why do I have to escort you to new York if you're going to be busy taking over the company?" I asked as I was curious about the situation.

"Because I want you by my side now that you will be my Luna by the next full moon and also it's not like I'll be busy with work the whole time" he said as he kissed my head.

"Ok and what about aunt I I haven't even talked to her and mike I haven't heard anything from him since yesterday" I said as I sat up and looked at toby who had anger plastered on his face.

"What's with the face,I only asked about them it's not like I said something bad did I?" I continued as his eyes changed its colour to red.

"For starters, I had informed veronica and told her that you're going with me to new York as for mike this better be the last time you're saying his name understood?" He asked furiously.

I didn't understand what was going on with his sudden change, he was fine with me talking about mike a while ago but now it's like he's fuming with anger.

"What about him did you guys have a fight or something?" I asked as I turned to look at him.

"Its nothing just don't utter his name in front of me next time ok?" He asked as if he was hiding something and I wont back down just because he said so.

"I don't think so, tell me what happened between you two that you seem to hate him that much?" I asked as I wanted to know the reason.

"Its best if you don't meddle in this it's for own sake" he said as he ignored my eyes.

"Not to meddle no no and no I won't stop asking until you give me a reason why I should say his name" I shook my head in disagreement.

I wanted to know why he was angry at mike and him saying it was good not to know anything.

"You won't believe me if I tell you the reason lisa so please try to understand" he said as he looked at his iPad.

"How am I suppose to believe you when you haven't told me anything, tell me what you know about mike that you don't want me to say his name?" I pleaded with him.

"Like I said it's not good for you and you might end up getting stressed which is one of the doctor's advice so please don't worry " he said as he put his iPad down and looked at me.

"I don't care what the doctor said I want to know the reason why you hate mike all of a sudden" I yelled at him

"Take this pill and have some rest we'll talk after that" he said as he gave me the  pill and I took it as I drank water.

I knew there was no point in arguing with him because we will be going around the circle as he keeps ignoring my question.

An idea came so I stood up from the bed and took my pillow and was about to leave the room when he held me back and swayed me to the wall as his hand held me by the waist.

"And where do you think you're going with the pillow?" He asked as he whispered in my ear as if he was telling me something privately.

Before I could respond he gently bit my earlobe and kissed my neck,I felt like I would pass out if he kept teasing me. I barely took notice of the shirt I was wearing.

His hands unbuttoned the shirt and I forgot that I wasn't wearing my pants and it was his shorts that I was wearing.

I slide his hand as it went to my lower part and he gave me a smirk as I tried hard not to moan by biting my lower lip.

"Its ok baby girl no need to hold it back,we won't be disturbed even if you scream" he whispered in my ear and I couldn't contain myself.

He then came to my lips at first it was a peck then he kissed me again, even though it wasn't for the first time he was kissing me but it felt like it,it was smooth and gentle at first but then turned into a rough one.

He carried me and I crossed my legs on his waist as he laid me on the bed, I never thought that he would let me go so easily as I was planning but miserably failed to leave the room.

"I never want to hear you say his name ever understood?" He asked as he leaned closer to my lips and kissed me again.

I didn't answer as I wanted to know the reason why he has a sudden change of heart.

"I know you're hiding something but I won't ask anymore but I hope you'll tell me sooner" I said as I felt that asking him for explanation would only bring us in circle and he wouldn't tell me anything.

So I pulled him closer and we kissed passionately that I didn't realise we were doing intimacy on the air. I blushed as the realization hit me.

"What's wrong why did you blush suddenly?" He asked as I covered my face.

"Are we seriously going to do this ?" I asked as I pointed at us.

"Why? Are you surprised by this? I hope you don't mind if we do it would you?" He asked as he leaned and kissed me again and this time I didn't stop him.

I happen to be shook by someone's hand as he kissed my face while I tried to sleep.

"Let me sleep please" I whined as I tried to cover my face but the person wasn't letting me sleep.

I opened my eyes and saw toby fully dressed and smiling at me as he pecked my lips.

"Wake up sleeping beauty it's time to land" he said as he pointed at the window.

I couldn't help myself but smile as yesterday's incident happened,I woke up and look around for something to wear before I left the room.

As I was about to take the tobe that was lying on the bed. I didn't notice toby was staring at me until I pulled the robe and was about to wear it when our eyes met.

I wonder what he was looking at with those lusty eyes only for me to realise he was looking at my bear chest. I quickly covered it with the robe and snapped my fingers until he looked at me.

"Why were you looking at me like that?" I whined but he replied with a smirk and left the room.

I quickly stood up and rushed to the bathroom took the black and white dress and changed myself by washing my face and brushed my teeth.

As I went back to the seat one of the hostesses looked at me by smiling as she served me tea. I wonder why she was smiling about and that's when it hit me.

Were we that loud?

I Subconsciously thought about it, as I looked at toby who was sitting opposite to me he grinned at me then wore his ear phone and laid back on his seat.

Oh.. my heart what just happened....
