chapter 24

Mike p.o.v

As I drove nora home, my car suddenly stopped working, I went out to look at the problem and turned out  one of the tires flattened.

I went in the  back to get a new tire when out of nowhere someone hit me in the back and I lost consciousness.

When I woke up, I went to see nora but she was nowhere to be found. I tried to catch her scent but it was like she disappeared.

I ran all the way home since I couldn't drive my car, I got there and went in fast. I called her name but she didn't answer.

Mom came out of her office and asked why I was calling nora for.

"Why on earth are you yelling for?" She asked

"Hey mom, by any chance did you see Nora today?" I asked still looking around.

"Yes, she was here in this morning helping me with the tomorrow's event but left at lunch time why do you ask?"

"You won't believe me but I think she was kidnapped"

"What are you talking about, and who on earth would do that?"

"I don't know that mom, you don't think that they have found out the truth, do you?"

"Truth? No, I don't think so and even if they did we both know it was all an accident ok"

"So how do I find Nora then, you know your cousin she loves playing tricks am sure she will come back "

"I hope you're right mom, I hope nothing bad happens to her" I said

I went to my room, I looked outside the window to see if I'll be able to remember anything.

I remember she said she was with her friends from the school, so I left the house and went back where 8 left my car.

I looked for her phone to see if i could ask them if they had seen her. Luckily she left her phone on her and i called her friends but none of them saw her after they went inside the house where the party was held.

I scrolled through her phone when I saw a  video of her being bullied,her face was being drowned in a sink. I zoomed at the girl who was torturing her and it turned out to be Ashley.

I couldn't understand why she did it and she was enjoying what she was doing to nora. With anger I broke the phone in pieces and threw it away.

I growled so hard that the birds on the trees flew away, suddenly I heard someone screaming,I listened to the sound and followed it.

I got closer to the place where the scream was coming from, I saw Nora being dragged into a house, it was a burden one and it was too dark.

I used my other eyes and saw Ashley and some girls pulling her to a seat and putting a  wet towel on her face and poured water on her face.

"What did you tell lisa?" She asked her as she poured water

Nora was having difficulty in breathing and was shaking her head vigorously.

"Did you by any chance tell her about us you better spill it before I drown you again" she said as she removed the towel.

"I hav..en't s...een her ....since.. the day she was... at Mike's party " she said as she tried to catch her breath.

"Yeah right, you expect me to believe that?" She asked sarcastically.

"Let her go" I said as I yelled at her.

"Oh look who is here, if it isn't your cousin mikey what do you want?" She asked as she stood in front of Nora.

"You better unite her now,I won't let you torture her ever again and what do you want from lisa anyway?"

"For your information, this has nothing to do with you so you better leave NOW" she growled at me.

"You should be the one to leave before I do something you will never forget"

"Whatever I want with lisa it's none of your damn business "

"Better leave before I make you Ashley and besides am sure you don't want your Alpha to find out what you are doing now right"

She was about to strangle nora when I showed her the video I took of her and her friends, she growled at me and left.

I ran to Nora and helped her with stand up after cutting down the ropes from her arms and legs.

I carried her on my back and ran home as fast as I could, I laid her down on the sofa and but a cover on her as I called our personal doctor.

She came and checked her pulse and she was glad that I was there on time or else I would have lost her for good.

The doctor left and I sat on  the couch as I looked at her, I wondered what Ashley wanted and why did she want to hurt nora for.

"Don't worry mike, nothing bad happened to her at least " mom said as she gave me our usual drink.

"I have to find out what Ashley wants and why she was looking for lisa?"

The next day at school, I went to look for her, she was talking to her friends when she spotted me and smirked at me.

I was furious that I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the room and took her to an empty room.

"Heyy, you have no right to do that to me or did you forget who my leader is?"

"More like you forgot who I am mostly"

"What, are you here to ask me why I did what I did because the answer is I just do what I feel like ok?"

"Let this be a warning for you Ashley, better leave my cousin alone or whatever happens to you will be twice the pain"

"You don't scare me at all so don't play some kinda hero to me"

"You better stay away or else you will regret ,I promise you"

"Wait, this isn't about Nora right, it's about lisa and if you didn't notice she hasn't come to school from what I heard she was attacked at her home" she said as if she was trying to remember something.

"What are you talking about? What happened to lisa?" I asked.

"I knew it, you care more about a human rather than your own family" she smirked.

"Just tell me what happened to her"

"Sorry I don't have much information about it"

I pushed her away and went to look for her at her house but there wasn't anyone at home I tried to listen to any heart beat but no one was around

"Where is she?".....
