chapter 22:show or tell the truth

After the doctor left, I asked one of the maids to change her clothes and since she was unconscious, I let her sleep in my room and I went to one of the guests room.

As I was brushing my teeth, I remember how lisa was looked scared as she came out the window, I heard her heart racing and she was scared to death.

I was glad that I was there on time to catch her as she slipped from the roof. Thinking of how scared she was made my heart jump and I have decided to tell her the truth.

"I hope you won't hate me after the truth is revealed "I told myself.

The next day I woke up,  and went to my room  to take a quick shower before she wake up. I didn't expect to see lisa awake.

Actually as I was walking towards the door, I felt a figure walking so I assumed she was  awake. I opened the door to look when I saw her sleeping on the bed.

I listened to her heart beat and knew she ran to the bed and pretended to be asleep when I saw her twitching her eyes.

She looked adorable as she pretended to sleep. I looked at her and smiled at her, I told her that I knew she was pretending to sleep and she didn't have to.

I asked her what she remembered about the previous night and she said that she didn't remember anything.

She asked me how long she was asleep and I didn't tell her the truth right away instead I teased her and said she was unconscious for weeks,the look on her face was priceless.

She didn't believe that she was unconscious for weeks and I then told her that it was actually two days and she even got more confused, she end up whining so I told her the truth.

She looked relieved and told her to go back to sleep as I got her breakfast. She lied back and I went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Before that I had asked one of the maids to bring food to my room after I left the guest room. I took a quick shower and went to my room to change.

As I locked the bathroom door, I saw lisa staring at the food,she looked like she hasn't had food for days.

I told her that food was meant to eat and not staring, she was so lost in the food that she didn't even notice I was next to her, as she turned to me she realized that I was only in towel and she looked confused and asked what I was doing.

I told her that it was my apartment even though I was in the mansion just to get on her nervous and she quickly turned and yelled that it wasn't ok for me to be walking half naked around the room.

I heard her heart beating fast, she was nervous and probably blushing as she kept stealing glance at me, I shook my head and went to the other side where my walk in closet was.

I changed my clothes and wore a white shirt, blue jeans and brown leather jacket and walked out to my room.

Lisa barely touched the food so I sat next to her an motion her to eat, she stared at the food without even having a bite of toast.

She looked like she was lost and  I asked if she was ok and she replied that she was thinking of her aunt.

Turns out that, after I left lisa sleeping in my room, I went back to her house to see what happened, as I entered the house, I heard someone groaning as if it was in pain.

I looked around and saw her aunt on the floor transforming into human being, she had bruises on her arms and neck, I quickly wrapped her with a blanket and helped her sit in the couch.

Flashback

"Are you ok? What happened to you?" I asked as the bruises started to fade away.

"I...I was attacked by someone and I fought back" she said as she took a breath.

"Is...she ok? Lisa?" She asked.

"Yeah she's fine don't worry, can you tell me who the attacker was?"

"I....I don't remember but I think it was  from the other side am not sure"

"Don't worry I'll find out who it was and you have to promise to take care of yourself"

"As long as lisa is between the worlds I don't think its going to be easy life for us"

"What do you mean, don't tell me you want her to know the truth are you even sure about it?"

"Yes more than ever she might be the only option we are left with so tomorrow we will have to tell her"

"What if she doesn't choose what then?"

"She's the only one so trust me on this ok?"

End of flashback

By the time we were done eating, lisa said that she had no clothes to change so I showed her a closet where I had clothes and told her to change.

I left her there and I called veronica and asked her about what she said the previous night and she still wanted to tell lisa the truth.

"Should I bring her back or what?"

"Don't bother am on my way to your house"

I cut the call and turn to go and see lisa when she suddenly appeared and she looked stunning with a short blue dress and brown leather jacket we both wore a matching outfit.

"Wow you look beautiful "

"Thanks, I guess we are matching now" she said pointing at me.

We both left the room  and walked downstairs where we met the maids on the way and greeted us while bowing.

As we walked towards the door, my mom appeared and greeted us as well and I hugged her, she then walked towards lisa and whispered to her that she will make a wise decision.

Lisa looked confused and I just smiled and we walked out, her aunt appeared and took her inside and I didn't think that she was going to tell her now.

I followed them inside, veronica greeted my mom and they both nodded their heads and pulled her towards the living room and made her sit.

"Lisa there's something I would like to tell you or mostly show"she said as she closed her eyes then opened them.

Lisa looked at her aunt's blue eyes then she.

"Oh my God!WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?she yelled and then she fainted on the couch....
