The odds

With Kiran informing his mom that he was leaving, him and Caleb were now currently driving towards Mikey's house.

After about some minutes drive, they have finally made to Mikey's house. With Mikey already informing his guards and the guards knowing who the two were, they open the gate for them to go through without any difficulties.

"I will give you a call when we are through so you can come pick us" said Caleb to his driver as he walked pass the gate.

Being one of the richest family in the country, their security procedures was something they all took seriously.

One of the security measures of the Barclay family was that no other car except from theirs was to enter into the mansion.

So stopping at the gate was their only option as his driver can't go inside. Passing the gate, they enter into the Barclay resident car before being drive straight to the mansion.

Reaching the mansion, they both got out of the car and could see a maid waiting for them.

"Good evening master Caleb and Kiran, right this way" said the maid as she bow her head a little before escorting them to meet Mikey.

On their way going, they could see different maids in the mansion. If their calculation wasn't wrong, they saw close to twelve maids just in the living room.

"This never seems to get old in my eyes, thank goodness my mom don't agree to this, it's just somehow" said Kiran to Caleb.

"If you were born into it, trust me, you would have master it" replied Caleb as he know Kiran was talking about the maids.

"There's no difference between your house and Mikey's own, the same in everything including security measures, seems you guys have a lot of enemies" said Kiran.

"That's one downside of being one of the richest family, you make enemies even without knowing it, that's why there are security measures" replied Caleb.

"I'm just glad my family isn't this tight, having twenty guards protecting us seems too much but looking at the guards in you guys family, I couldn't even say anything" said Kiran.

"Why do you think we attend martial arts classes, we all have enemies Kiran, it's just take them long to act because of how high we are" said Caleb. "If anything was to happen and we were to fall, they will quickly take advantage of it and attack us".

"I haven't really put my mind into my family cooperation, so I don't know if we do have enemies, I wasn't brought up with the thought of people attacking me" said Kiran.

"Every cooperation do have enemies, it might be rivals in business, or people that doesn't like how you operate things" said Caleb. "We are brought up with the sense of having danger around, that's why we are always insecure".

"With how tight your dad is, it's a miracle he let you go out without taking guards" said Kiran.

"I didn't agree to it, but my driver isn't just an ordinary driver, he's a high military officer, my dad trust he can protect me that's why he's the only one around me" said Caleb. "That's the same thing with Mikey's driver".

"It's surprising how we three became friends when our families probably are competing to be the number one richest in the country" said Kiran.

"That's not our business, even if we were to take over our family business in the future, we will still continue to be friends" replied Caleb.

"Even after announcing the time up to two times, you two still came late, I have been waiting for thirty minutes straight" said Mikey the moment he saw them.

"Seems you are really eager to fight this time" reply Caleb as he and Kiran walked over to change their clothes.

"Did you change your mind?" Asked Mikey to Kiran as he could see he was changing his clothes also.

"I did" was the short reply from Kiran.

"So how are we going to do it?" Asked Mikey.

"I want to check something, so hope you two won't mind if you fight against me first, then you can fight each other later" said Kiran. "Don't hold back and fight with everything you have" added Kiran.

Hearing the words of Kiran, Mikey and Caleb both look at each other in surprise.

The reason for the surprise expression being on their face was that they have never fought each other two to one before, because they all know that they weren't that far off from each other, so hearing what Kiran presented made it sound like he was on a whole different level from them.

Even though it has been long since they fought each other, they know that he won't have improve greatly than before as he has not been training.

Mikey and Caleb usually consider their lost to Kiran as a mistake in their path and a luck to Kiran, so having to fight two people on the same level with him, would only call for his lost.

"Isn't this what we call learning to walk before crawling, but if it's what you want, then I don't have a problem with it, what about you Caleb?" Asked Mikey.

"I don't have a problem with it also, but I won't hold back" replied Caleb as he shrugged his shoulder.

"Don't hold back and make sure not to underestimate me all because you have the advantage of number on your side" said Kiran.

'Why do I always have this certain surge of energy anytime I was to fight, like if I'm being excited to fight?' Asked Kiran to himself as he clenched his fist.

"Make sure not to disappoint us after your bold speech, if you can't last three minutes against us, then you shame yourself" said Mikey.

"How about we bet on it so you two can take it more serious, I don't want you two to give excuse of not taking it seriously" said Kiran.

"Okay then, how much do you want to bet and what's the odds?" Asked Caleb calmly.

"How about two hundred thousand each, the odds being I beat both of you" replied Kiran.

"Are you sure you won't take a better odds so you can have a chance of you winning, like lasting five minutes against us, beating both of us at once is an impossible odds" said Mikey.

"I have my reasons for putting the odds that way Mikey" replied Kiran as he position himself to fight.

"Very well then, let's get this over with" said Caleb as he and Mikey get ready to attack.
