Ayato-

Grabbing Vienna and wrapping one arm around her throat, I pressed my gun to her head as footsteps invaded the outside of the room.

/"What- what are you doing?/"

Vienna’s shaky voice broke me out of my thoughts, I didn’t want to scare her or hurt her but if the people outside of the door were police, I had to use her as a hostage.

/"Trying to keep you./"

I muttered through clenched teeth as I slowly pushed her towards the door. I could hear muffled voices outside, multiple men, most likely cops. If they came here thinking they could take her from me, they were about to find out that they were completely wrong.

/"Please don’t hurt me./"

She whispered out her fear, her voice lingering around the room as I readied myself for war.

/"I won’t if you don’t force me to./"

I breathed out as I momentarily removed my arm from her neck momentarily to grab the doorknob.
