"Us Knights have one special order that is hard bound into our heads during training. We are not allowed to put children unto harm's way."
Currently, the kid is tears while hanging on the table. He didn't expect I'd shoot him down quick I guess.

Carrying a dish on his hand, the guild staff that was in charge of me came and backed the boy.
"What do you mean? The guild accepts kids as Mercenaries now?"
"No, not exactly. We just give them menial odd jobs that even F-Ranks wouldn't accept like cleaning ditches or killing sewer rats. Of course, the Guild pays them fairly with added benefits like safety and health insurance. They're called Junior Mercs."
