However, she didn't immediately jump up and catch the monkey.

Instead, she walked calmly to the foot of the tree and just looked up at the monkey eating the peach.

When the monkey saw her come up like this, it even went as far as to turn around so that its butt was pointing at her. Then it raised its hand and slapped its butt, as if it was taunting her to come and catch her.
