Wanderer of Myriad Realms

It all happens on one night, when I attend a welcoming party for the new students of the Seven Stars Academy, a prestigious academy for mages, knights and wannabe adventurers.

Yeah, as you all reader have guessed it, this world is one where humans and mythological creatures get along well. A world where both natural and magical phenomenon exists. The world where magic and technology combine together, making a prosperous and harmonious life.

Sure, dangerous monsters, demon kings, evil dragons, and other world ending threats are exists. But so called Heroes and Champions are there to thwart them.

For thousands of years, almost all sentient beings have enjoyed a blissful and happy life. Or at least, in this Kingdom of Grandiore, located on the Emerald Archipelago, spanning wide accros the equator line of this world.

Okay, we have gone off track with the background setting. Now, should I introduce myself to you, dear readers? My name is Avadhi Ranata. I am just a new student who just entered the academy after passing all the entrance test.

Whichi is very easy, I tell you. I only need to survive walking through a wide plains from one post to another post. That No Name Plains are only filled with Level 1 to Level 5 Monsters such as Leaf Rabbits, Weed Hoppers, Jelly Slimes and some annoying Robber Bugs.

And yes, in this World, you can see the Level of a creature, if you have the skill or spell required for it. I do not have one but I have done my homework to read many books about monsters and wildlifes.

Anyway, that Level is only a method to gauge the overall strength and performance of a creature. Some monsters, due to having a very high speed or extremely durable body but otherwise low stats are counted as having a lower level, even though those creatures can prove to be more annoying than other monsters with higher level than them due to them being difficult to kill.

Like that Robber Bugs, they are fast, have a skill to steal our items, but due to them having low stats they are only graded as Level 5, while I myself prefer fighting a Level 6 or 7 rather than facing them.

And should I mention that they are like a red or brown cockroach the size of a dog? That's why, the moment I see even one of them I will try my hardest to run as fast as possible.

Okay, back to the test. If you are lucky, like me, you can found one or two herbs when rushing through the test. I got two Rank One Herbs, one is green and one is black. I forgot their names, but I am sure I can sell this for pocket money, along with all the loot from killing those monsters.

Andf finally after spending four hours running and fighting through the plains, I reach the finish post and checked in my token and then proceed to complete my registration to academy.

And here I am, after getting transferred to my personal dorm room, which I rent for a month with almost all the loot I get from the entrance test save from the two herbs which I keep, I took a bath and take an afternoon nap.

After my smartphone alarm ringing on 18.00 I wake up and change my clothes to a formal tuxedo to attend the evening welcoming party on 19.00 at the main campus ballroom.

After hearing the welcoming speech of the Principal, the Seven Elders and the Representative from Student Council, who is a very beautiful and elegant Oni, with enchanting glamorous body with all the fill and the curves in the right part, we proceed to talking, drinking and eating snacks on the ballroom.

Now, this is the part that I am not very good at. After I found the group of people who will be my classmates on the Adventurer Curiculum, I only say hi, introduce myself, chit chat for a bit and then excuse myself after I take note of some notable person who will be in my class.... Mostly, the beauties, though :p.

The Dragon - Vixen and Dragon - Serpent Sisters are such a beautiful pairs. They are among the fastest new students to finish the Plains. I have only taken a glimpse of their perfectly coordinated battles on the start of the test, before leaving any other participants in their dusts after they finish a group of monster while most of us have only landed our first strike.

And then.... That happened....

After drinking so much that the nature is calling, I went on a little adventure in search of a rest room. After I found that room of paradise and answering the call of nature, I go back only to find a dark, empty hallway after I opened the door from the toilet.

Gazing back to the toilet, I found the door still exist, but I don't remember such an empty hallway before going to the toilet.

Am I that drunk?

But shouldn't the party also still ongoing?

Why did the hallway become dark and deserted like the party has over for a long time ago?

As I think about many things like that, I have reached another door. This door should lead to the ballroom. Or at least, it was....

But what greets me after I open that door is a blinding light that makes me closed my eyes for a moment. After a while in that dark hallway, my eyes need to adjust to an increased intensity of light. After I opened my eyes, though, what I see make me speechless...

I am in the middle of nowhere, in an outdoor forest, on the daylight.

Did someone play a prank and cast a Teleport Spell on me right after I opened the door?

Or, is someone put a Portal Spell on the door and I triggered it?

Whatever the reason it was, as I am turning around to see my back, I found the door I come from has been vanished.

Oh, well, time to move on.

Right now, the only choice I have is follow the small road spanning in front of me and hope there is some kind of help along the way or a civilization on the end of it.

And thus, I began walking in this unknown place, following the road to yet another unknown.....
