Ginger and Gwen reached Mary's side in no time, concern written on their faces.
"I hope you're better now," Ginger spoke with a soft voice, plopping her butt down on the edge of Mary's bed.
"Yeah. You know how it goes."
"I do." Ginger smiled. "When will you two start eating in the dining hall again? Breakfast is boring when you guys aren't there."
"I'm not sure yet. Ellie might freak out again if she is made to eat separately without me joining her. She doesn't say it but I still see how scared she gets every time we are about to eat."
"Speaking about Ellie. Where is she?" Gwen asked, noticing the girl's absence.
"She left a few minutes ago," Mary answered, and panic registered on Ginger's face.
"Left? To where?" Ginger probed.
"Main palace. Why?"
"Shit! We have to go find her." Ginger sprang to her feet and turned toward the door in readiness to run after Ellie.
"Go find her?" Gwen asked in shock.
