Dear Diary

Dear diary,

I'm going to start Junior year tomorrow and I know I'm too old for this kind of stuff, but I really want a miracle to happen. Ever since mom dissapeared, dad hasn't been the same. It's like as if I'm a stranger to him. He just locks himself in his office and never comes out. It all started when we had to move away from Jacksonville because of my dad's job. We came to our new town called Edgeway. We moved in the summer, but that's when mom disappeared. Dad hasn't been the same since.

It's getting pretty late, and I'm going to start school and hopefully find new friends.
