Episode 8- The Vermillion Princess Knows How to Cook.
The next morning.
Tenka gets up out of her bed, and quickly walks to the door of her room, to exit, and eat her breakfast before she must go get herself ready for school. It was her morning routine every day, to eat breakfast at home before she headed to school to start her day.
Walking out of her room, Tenka completely forgot that she had not even put any pants on and that she also had a roommate who was a boy inside her dorm. But when she arrived in the living room. So, she could go to the kitchen and get some food to eat.
She walked into the living room and noticed that there was something on the couch, it was a person, and they were lying peacefully without a care in the world.
There is no way that someone is in this dorm, people with ID cards can enter the dorm they live in. How is there a person inside my dorm room?
With those thoughts, Tenka walked up to the person that was lying down so she could confront them, forgetting that she didn't have any pants on, if the person were to see anything she would simply kill him and erase him from the world.
Standing in front of the person her eyes widened, she looked at the long blond-haired boy and noticed that there was only one man in the school with that kind of hair color. That person is the transfer student.
Nothing could describe how shocked she was to find out he was in her room, but the memories from the evening before started to pop into her mind, the memories of her touching his abdominal muscles.
…That wasn't a dream… I really did touch his abdominal muscles yesterday, and he really is the roommate that I just received yesterday. There is no way that he doesn't think I'm a pervert.
Quickly analyzing the body of the boy in front of her, she noticed that he was in casual clothes that consisted of a long shirt that was black in color, and black sweatpants. Shito lay comfortably on the couch he was sleeping on. He was covered with a blanket and his hair was messy because of the way he was sleeping.
He looks like he is sleeping so peacefully, there is no way that he just sleeps anywhere he feels like. What type of person would leave themselves this vulnerable in front of the people they are living with? I'm glad that he has on clothes right now… now that I mention it my clot–
A sudden realization hit her, she finally noticed that she didn't have any pants on. If the boy were to wake up, he would completely see the girl standing in her panties, that was something that Tenka didn't want to let him see… so she slowly started to walk back to her room, trying her best to be as quiet as she could. But her being quiet didn't help because Shito opened his eyes.
Shito sat up in the chair and looked over at Tenka who was standing in the center of the living room, everything from her bottom and down was exposed so he could see it, while she did have on her panties, and her bare legs were completely exposed. Her body was slender, and her breasts were big.
This woman was near me without any clothes on… is she someone kind of pervert because yesterday she touched my abdominal muscles and kept staring at me, and this time she is standing over me and watching me sleep? Well, it's not like I really care anyway.
Getting up off the couch, Shito didn't even say anything to the girl, and he went to the kitchen, completely ignoring the girl. He had no interest whatsoever in whatever the Vermillion princess was doing but even if she was staring at him, there was no point in getting mad and wasting pointless emotions.
Tenka quickly ran up to her room to get changed, knowing that the boy didn't seem to care about her being exposed like that she took the chance to completely disappear from his presence.
Shito was standing in the kitchen, fixing him a glass of water. But he suddenly heard noises come from Tenka's door, knowing that she wasn't in any trouble he simply ignored it and kept drinking his water.
After a couple of seconds, Tenka walked out of her room with her school uniform on. She was walking to the kitchen, so she could eat her food and head to school.
"Do you want me to fix you some food?" Tenka asked, looking at Shito who was standing in the kitchen drinking water. She was not a rude girl, so she was going to fix food for the two of them. There was no reason for her to eat in his face when she could just eat with him.
Shito nodded his head and looked up at the girl, he was not the type to turn down an offer of food that was offered to him. While he might not trust the girl completely, he knew she wasn't the type to harm innocent people.
"If you don't mind fixing it for me then… I will gladly accept your offer."
"Okay, can you go ahead and get dressed for school? I'm going to get the food ready for us to eat."
Walking out of the kitchen, Shito left the woman alone so she could start cooking. While he didn't need to get changed physically because he could just use magic, he wanted to give her some time to get the food ready for them to eat.
As Tenka stood in the kitchen, she walked to the stove and turned it on, she knew how to cook because if she ever decided to leave her family, she would be able to survive on her own.
She walked to the refrigerator, opening the door to see what was inside for her to cook. After seeing the sausages and vegetables, she quickly figured out it was going to be for breakfast.
—I'm going to try my best to make the food enjoyable for him to eat, I don't know what kinds of food he likes but I'm going to just eat something I like to eat. A food called pot-au-feu.
Grabbing the sausage and vegetables, Tenka walked back to the stove and started to place the food on the counter so they would not get burnt by the stove that was on. She quickly cut the sausages and vegetables, threw the food into the pan, and she started to pan-fry it.
After the sausage and vegetables were fried for a little, she added water to let the food boil for a little, after a couple of seconds of boiling, Tenka added consommé soup to the food and turned the stove down to let the food boil at a low temperature.
…This is good enough to be eaten, I hope he likes the food I cooked for him. Even though I'm confident in my ability to impress people with my food… throughout the time of me being with him. The expression on his face hadn't changed at all, even though he smiled in front of the class it was not a genuine smile.
She tasted the food to see if she cooked it right, and with that, she concluded that there was nothing wrong. She looked at the plates and grabbed them. Tenka fixed the plates and sat them on the table and then.
"The food is ready. You can come to eat now."
With that, she called out to Shito who still hadn't come out of his room, he was still doing something in there that took him a long time to finish.
After not getting an answer from him, Tenka walked to his room door, knocking on it lightly trying to get his attention. But he still didn't answer her, and that was enough to make her feel nervous.
Tenka waited at the door for a couple of seconds, there she stood thinking something had happened to him, even if he were strong people loved to send assassins after her, and she was worried that he would get harmed after being with her.
Without hesitation, she walked into the room of the transfer student and took a quick look around, there was nothing important in his room, but a picture of him and his sister Sara. The overall room looked like that of a normal teenage boy.
On the bed slept the beautiful boy, Shito lying without a care in the world. He was sleeping even though they had to go to school later. He was already dressed so she was relieved she did not see him without any clothes on again.
…I'm glad nothing happened to him, even though he is strong I don't know his full capabilities and the assassins in this world are strong. They were said to be able to destroy plants if they got serious enough. My family was there to protect me, and they only attacked at night because during the day the principal is there to protect the students.
Tenka sighed, walking over to the boy who was lying on his bed. She tapped him on his shoulder to wake him up from his nap.
A tap of the shoulder was enough to wake him up, and he stared at the girl that was standing above him. Their eyes were connected, and Tenka was practically getting lost in his beautiful eyes, his caramel-brown eyes were enough to make any girl go insane.
"What do you need from me?"
Hearing that, Tenka snapped back into reality and noticed the boy who was staring directly into her eyes, "Let's go… the food is ready." She said as she quickly walked out of his room.
Getting up from the bed, Shito quickly followed behind her, heading to the kitchen so he could eat his food.
When they arrived at the kitchen the two of them sat at the table and picked up the forks that were placed beside the plates.
Tenka was getting a little nervous about him looking at the food. She did not know if her food was something he did not like, and the feeling of not knowing if the person was going to put down her hard work was frightening.
Shito picked up the fork before putting his fork in his food, and taking a small bite. He was trying to get a good taste of the food and as soon as he did, he looked up at Tenka who was clearly worded about something. He knew that she thought he was going to pick on her because of the food she made for him.
"...The food is good… you should really start eating we have to go to class soon."
Hearing that, Tenka smiled and instantly picked up her chopsticks, she was glad that he did not criticize her hard work. They quickly ate their food and walked out of the dorm room together to head to their class.
