Episode 59- [Finals] The Birth of a Hero (Second Part)

(Lucia's 3rd POV)

Lucia, The Last Hero that would ever exist in the world. Normally the hero would reincarnate into different bodies and become a different person entirely, but she was the only exception to that rule because of the magic spell re-cycle.

Re-cycle was the magic spell that allowed her to implant all of the knowledge and experience that she had gained directly into her soul, and with that same magic spell, she forcibly wrote over the heroes' reincarnation spell to make her soul that of the hero's every time she died and reincarnated.

The hero was one of the strongest beings in the world, enough so that she could take on the four great races all at once. The hero, Lucia Komeiji, was always reincarnated as a girl, so the skills she perfected throughout all her past lives could be used in her current body.

Lucia was not scared to fight anyone, and it was probably because of the feelings of the hero that were sealed deep inside of her body. Even though she couldn't use her skills to perfection before, now that she had her powers unlocked, all of the abilities in her arsenal were in her control, and all the other skills that she used before getting her power were perfected because of the skill Puriel, a skill that lets her instantly skill that master any skill that she is capable of learning. Most of the skills in the world could be learned by her.

At first, the hero had no emotions when he was fighting to save the world because it was something that he was forced to do. The gods blessed him the heroes with their power in exchange for them protecting the world. Even if the person themselves didn't want to, they forced them because they wanted the world to be safe.

Voices were in the heads of the heroes and forced them to keep fighting, or they would start feeling immense pain. Painful enough to make the unmatched heroes kill themselves to escape the painful feeling. And Lucia had no expectation of that rule, and when she placed the re-cycle spell on herself. once the spell was placed on her she instantly killed herself since she would revive.

But after living a couple of lives, he finally had the ability to nullify the voices, something that none of the previous heroes could do. After gaining the ability to control her own life, she vowed to protect the world from danger, not because of her title as the hero, but because she wanted to.

"Holy Body, activate."

The Holy Body was always activated, but she was making her body stronger just by saying those words. After unlocking her body, her body was instantly overwritten, turning it into the Holy Body.

Lucia was a genius, through the countless lives she lived, and she created countless magic spells that helped the Holy Body. Spells that benefit the Holy Body radiate with her body further increasing her magic, making her magic spells powerful.

Excalibur started to shake, radiating with her body, making the sword countless times stronger than it was before she unlocked her power. At that moment, Excalibur was on the same level as Thunsmanas, and both were swords that could destroy and pierce through countless worlds.

That sword he was wielding is on the same level as my sword Excalibur but with her holy body, I can endlessly enhance my physical abilities.

Even though the hero didn't fear anyone, he was still wary of the person that was in front of him.

She was wary of Shito, who was standing in front of her with a calm expression.

Lucia was releasing a whole lot of pressure, but he still was able to stand calmly in front of her. Her pressure was enough to make people fear for their lives.

After a couple of seconds of standing in front of Shito, she quickly disappeared, instantly appearing directly beside him. Excalibur was enhanced by her holy body, and she swung her sword in a horizontal motion.

For a moment, the arena was devoid of any sounds, and her sword was so fast that a normal person couldn't see the strike of her blade.

But to her surprise, her sword had missed him. Even with her fast and precise sword style, she couldn't even land an attack on him.

"Hou..."

Shito had appeared in her blind spot, instantly trying to take advantage of her while her guard was dropped.

Lucia immediately noticed him and instantaneously stepped forward, thus evading Shito's quick attack.

Then immediately after that, she shifted into a counterattack.

A sharp thrust that was strong enough to pierce through a star, it was a thrust that was like a spear.

Behind the serious expression he was displaying, he was enjoying the battle he was having with Lucia, even though she was not as strong as him.

He dodges the attack that was sent at him by turning his body to the right, and he instantly releases another slash with his sword.

But Lucia withdraws her sword in time.

Drawing her sword back, she spun her body, evading the attack that was sent at him. Her speeds were getting faster with the passing second since she was adapting to her Holy Body.

Then, in an instant, she shifted to another counterattack.

The two were sending shockwaves throughout the whole arena. Even with the powerful shockwaves, the barrier was still intact. From the outside, everyone could see how the battle was going because there was a screen over the top of their heads that slowed down the speeds of the battles so that ordinary people could watch what they were doing.

More than twenty moves were exchanged in the blink of an eye, sending shockwaves throughout the arena with each strike they exchanged.

By the passing second, the two were getting faster and faster as they kept exchanging blows with one another.

Everyone was watching the battle with bated breath.

The two strikes were so elegant that they made it look like they were dancing.

Without the screen that was over their heads, most of the people wouldn't be able to see the attacks that they were exchanging.

A breathtaking sword dance was taking place in the arena.

Not a single person in the arena could take their eyes off the two students that were fighting. They were seeing a sword fight that one could only dream of seeing in their life.

While he would have loved to dance with her for a while, Shito had to put an end to the sword fight. He wanted to see some of the spells she wielded as the hero.

"Using the sword is not fun…. Show me some of the magic spells you have mastered throughout all your past lives."

He slowly steps out of Lucia's striking range, and his gaze simply lands on her.

Lucia took a deep breath. Since he wanted her to use some of her spells, she calmed herself. There were a lot of skills in her arsenal, and she didn't know which one to use on him first.

"All right, I shall show you some of the attacks that I have acquired. This is the least I can do since you seem to be enjoying this battle for me…."

After saying that, her body was suddenly enveloped in a bright translucent white light.

Her bright golden eyes simply gazed at Shito. The power of her spells was getting stronger and stronger, and here she was giving him what he wanted. An attack that was the result of the hard work she put into it.

For a while, the two stood in the same place without making a single move. She was charging up an attack that was made from her mana.

"....Engo Nomis…."

Swinging her sword in a downward motion, A beam that was made of mana was released from her attack. The beam was strong enough to destroy anything, and it could even vaporize the world. All her attacks could do that, and some were above that. Having to fight with the demon king, she had to make herself powerful to destroy worlds just like he could.

Thunsmanas was in her left hand, but he suddenly tossed the sword to his right hand, slightly tilting his body, it was like he was entering a baseball batter position.

"Thundnos Levas."

He swung his sword as fast as lightning, canceling out the beam that was nearing his face. The attack faded; it was almost like it never existed in the first place.

"....?!"

At first, she was surprised that her attack was destroyed, but she knew that she couldn't let up, so she released another attack. Via Quick Chain, she linked the attacks Engro Nomis and Enril. Enril was an attack that ignored durability aiming directly at the soul.

Her sword was covered in a black light. The black light was the result of the spell Enril. She wanted to test him to see if he was going to be erased from existence. Even if he did, she would be able to revive him using her magic.

Quickly analyzing the attack, Shito swung his sword downwards, releasing a tornado-like pressure that was full of wind gusts. He swung his sword so hard that tornados formed in the area.

With his physical strength, he blew away the strike that was sent at him.

"Don't tell me that was the only thing you had in you… if it is… then this is really disappointing."

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, no, this is not all I had in me. I was testing to see if you were going to be able to keep up with me when I decided to go all out."

Her body was shining brightly in a chromatic white and gold light. The Holy Body was radiating, and her strength was increasing with the passing second.

She was entering her battle form, a form that she used when she was always fighting as the hero. A form that she was used to and a form that she fought countless battles in against the demon race.
