Episode 40– The Void King’s Castle

The family arrived in front of the dorm room. They had walked back home and had an enjoyable conversation with each other, but they still had to figure out what they would be eating for dinner. The sun had already set because of how long he played around with Lucas. And since they decided to walk back to the dorm, they spent a whole twenty minutes walking back home.

"Before we enter the room, what do you guys want to eat for dinner?" Shito asked curiously. "It's time for us to eat something. We have to fight in battles tomorrow once again because the tournament is nearing its conclusion."

Tenka looked at Shito and smiled. Even though his tone was cold, and his facial expressions didn't change, she could feel a hint of excitement in his voice. Of course, she knew the reason behind his sudden excitement. His battle with Lucia was nearing, and he was going to fight with her.

Lucia was nowhere near Shito's strength, but he didn't care about that because he could feel something coming from the deepest parts of her body. So, he was going to fight and push her body to its limit so she could unlock the power that was deep within her body. He could tell just by looking at her that her power was overflowing and ready to be released from her body.

However, the methods he was going to have to use were going to be complicated. Shito would have to continuously pump his mana into her body, pushing her power out of her body. Of course, she would die if she didn't get control over her mana. That was the complicated part because he could accidentally kill her. While there would be no problem since he could bring her back, he didn't like killing people who did nothing to him; after all, he was not the same person he was when he was younger. The countless lives that were taken by his hand.

Tenka looked over at him, slightly smiling. "I would like to eat anything, so you could decide what we are going to eat, but we want to know if we are eating out or cooking today."

"I'm going to cook today, so that's why I asked what you wanted to eat. Since I don't know your favorite foods, I had to go ahead and ask to get some kind of confirmation from my family, but—"

"We will love anything Papa decides to make for us!" the twins shouted in unison. Every word that came out of their mouths was the truth. Even though they had never tasted their father's food, they were going to force themselves to like it, "So you can make anything you like to make. We are going to eat it all!"

Since when could he cook any food? When we first met, he was so lazy, and even though he is still lazy, he is livelier than he was when we first met.

Tenka was lost in thought. She had never even seen him go to the kitchen and cook food, and every time the family went out to eat after having a fun time together. Her instincts wanted to intervene, but she wanted to see how his food turned out. Just like her daughters, it would be her first time eating his food.

Suddenly claps could be heard, and Tenka and her daughters looked over to the person who was clapping. Once they saw it was Shito, the girl looked at him, confused.

"Shito, what are you doin—"

Tenka was interrupted by the sudden change in scenery. They were once in front of the dorm room, but they got teleported to a plain with a grassy lawn, with the stars shining brightly through the next sky.

A place that he created so they could have a good time and eat food under the starry night sky. This was something that he wanted to experience with his family. And since the sky wasn't as beautiful as it was back in their world, he decided to change the color of the sky to fit his likes.

The sky was chromatic, leaning towards green and blue. While there were a couple of dark shades in the sky, most of that was overshadowed by lighter colors. In the sky, you should see the stars gleaming brightly, making the scenery even more beautiful.

"Wooooowwwww! The sky looks so beautiful! Papa, are we going to eat her!" The twins were happy to see the beautiful sight, "I hope we can spend time here as a family."

Tenka's gaze shifted around the area and noticed that there were no tables or cities in her sight, "what are we going to do here? There are no tables, and there are no cities nearby…."

Hearing her words, Shito snapped his fingers, and a big castle appeared before the family. The castle looked brand new, shining in a jet-black color with a tint of silver. The power was made purely from his mana, and the castle was always with him. He had multiple castles, but this was the one he used the most since it was enchanted with his mana which is darker and more powerful than the power from the void.

Walking into the castle, Tenka and her daughters looked around the room, noticing many people walking around the castle. They were dressed up in standard maid uniforms that were black and white. And there were butlers dressed up in all-black tuxedos, with white button-up shirts.

The people bowed their heads upon seeing the man walk into the castle, "Welcome back, master!" the maids and butlers shouted in unison.

"Papa, who are all these people? And why are they calling you master?" Illayaka asked, genuinely confused.

Illya and Tenka didn't know about him being the void king, so they didn't really understand the reason they were greeting him with so much respect.

On the outside, the maids and the butlers looked like ordinary people, but their power was above all the mages that were in the world they were just in, not including his sisters. The butlers and mages came from the realm of the void, so they were strong enough to protect his castle.

His castle is located in a place that was above all sets of dimensions, but he could teleport it to anywhere he wanted at any time. Above those dimensions, sometimes beings invade and try to destroy the castle, and the maids and butlers defend the castle for their master.

But after hearing the little girl's words, the butlers and maids looked up at the twin, and their eyes widened. The hair of the girls looked just like their masters, so there was no way they could deny anything that he was she was saying.

An old man in a tuxedo stepped forward and bowed his head. "Hello, princesses. My name is Sebastian, and I'm the head butler here… so feel free to ask me for anything."

Sebastian was a beautiful-looking old man his hair was a long wavy grey, and his hair was tied up in a low-hanging ponytail. His eyes were silver, and his physical condition was above average. Overall, even if people say he was an old man, Sebastian still looked like he was in his early twenties despite being thousands of years old.

Illayaka looked at the butler and smiled brightly, "You look so cool, mister… Ummmm…. What's your name again?" she asked, wanting to know the name of the butler that was talking to her.

"My name is Sebastian, Young miss," he said, bowing his head while greeting the young girls politely. They were the children of his master. Of course, he would be respectful to the children.

Sebastian looked at his master and saw him nod his head. The two of them already knew what each other was thinking about, so they had no need to speak any words to each other.

"Maids, guide the mister and his daughters to the room where all their clothes are. And make sure you don't forget to get them a bath ready." Shito looked at the man with a calm facial expression, but the tone of his voice was stern. "Please make sure you take care of them."

The maids and the butlers could sense how serious he was, and they nodded their heads before they started guiding them up the stairs of the castle. Everything inside the castle was fancy.

A couple of seconds later, all the maids left with Tenka and his daughters, guiding them to the room, so they could go ahead and take a shower.

Sebastian looked at his master and smiled. "So you have children now, milord."

"Yes, I do. Their names are Illayaka and Illya, and as you know, they are twins." Shito looked over at Sebastian. "...And I know that you have already guessed that the woman that was near them is their mother."

Of course, he already guessed that because Sebastian was a very observant person, and he allowed no disrespect towards his master, and knowing that his master got kids and a 'wife' he was going to make sure they were safe until they were strong enough to protect themselves.

"I already could have guessed that milord… and you don't have to say any words because I'm going to make sure the place is safe for you guys." Sebastian spoke in a very gentle tone while slightly bowing, "Do you want me to go ahead and have dinner prepared for yo—"

"No, there is no need for you to do that," Shito interrupted, he made a promise to his kids, and he was going to uphold it, "I'm going to be making the food myself, so there is no need for you guys do anything for today."

After saying that, Shito walked to the kitchen, so he could start cooking food for his family. The maids and Sebastian could teleport and get food for the house. They stock up on food every month. Of course, they eat the food, but they keep restocking for when their master comes back.
