Episode 3- Magic Tournament Training

"All right, it's time to get today's lesson started." the teacher, Tina Tobiichi, said walking to the center of the classroom. "There is no need for you to pull out anything because we will be doing something a little different today.

Those words were enough to cause the students to become on edge, they did not know what the school had planned for them. Lemore Academy was not an easy place to study, if they did not have you fight monsters then you would be out training your magic or fighting with the other students.

She had to talk about something with her students so none of the physical writing needed to be done.

"We are going to be fighting in duels today but—"

"Why do we have to fight in duels today." a female student interrupted. She was in a hurry to get details and did not let the teacher finish talking. "Is there any special reason for us to do so?"

Miss Tobiichi looked at the student that was speaking and her face frowned. The girl not only talked over her, but she also had the nerve to ask her a question about something that she was about to explain before getting interrupted.

She took a deep breath before looking at the female student.

"There was no need for you to talk over me because I was about to answer that question before you decided to interrupt," she said, trying her best to keep her emotions in check. "So, do not interrupt me again while I am talking, and I am not only talking about you… I mean for anyone else that tries to interrupt me again while I am talking!"

All the students knew that she was getting frustrated, and they knew that it was best for them to be quiet but, there were two students in the back of the classroom that was not scared of Miss Tobiichi in the slightest.

But they did not say anything because they did not care about anything that was going on in the classroom. The only thing they cared about was their daughter who was sitting beside between.

Miss Tobiichi looked at Shito and smiled. "Who are the two people beside you?" she asked looking at the little girl, Illya, and the girl, Tenka that was beside him.

She did not know the girl was Tenka her student, because of how much she had changed. After all, the Vermillion family was known for having red hair, and Tenka came to school with red hair… not silver.

Shito looked at the girls who were sitting beside him. "This girl is my daughter Illya Mahinu, and the girl beside her is her mother, Tenka Vermillion." He pointed at each of them as he called out their names.

Tina Tobiichi was shocked to hear that two of her students had a daughter together before they even turned eighteen. The two of them were students that were seventeen years of age and it looked like she was twelve years of age.

The school history was simple, in most cases, people could only attend Lemore Academy when they were seventeen or older. All the academies had a rule for them to be seventeen or older and it was rare for someone younger to be in the school studying.

All the first years were at the age of seventeen unless they got held back but other than that once the year passed you would go up a grade, so it was like other schools.

"Is that so… Well, anyways let me get back to the main topic!"

Tenka looked at her teacher and smiled. "Are you not going to ask any questions?" she asked knowing that with her sudden change of appearance, everyone must have wondered about what happened to her.

"There is no reason for me to ask those kinds of questions because frequently it isn't any of my business."

Miss Scarlet picked up a piece of paper from her desk and stared at it before looking back at her class.

Not even a second had passed and she read the piece of paper that was filled with stuff for them to know about what they were going to be doing for that day.

"Ok… now to start this off we are going to be fighting in a tournament with the other classes. This is not only limited to the first year. This would involve all three of the years including all the classes that were in each year." Tina Tobiichi said looking at her classroom that was full of students. "Each of the years will fight each other and climb up the ranks within duos. So, this battle will be a two on two that would continue until the last pair of students is standing and we allow the students to pick their partners because putting people in a group with no chemistry would cause some people to lose."

"….."

The students were bewildered about having to fight with the upper-class students. Not only were the upper-class students strong but they had more knowledge and battle experience than the first years, so they were in a real disadvantage situation against the higher-year students.

All the students' spirits were crushed hearing that they were going to be fighting the upper-rank students. There were two students who were waiting to fight and that was Tenka and Shito.

But Illya noticed that all the other students were in such down spirits and stood up and looked at them. She had to do something to lift them into good spirits because did it really matter if they won? The answer was so simple… no it did not matter if they won the only thing that mattered was that they gave it their all.

Clapping her hands, Illya got the attention of all the students who were sitting in the classroom. The beautiful young girl was smiling brightly, like an angel that descended from the heavens.

"Are you all ready to give up without a fight!? … it does not matter if you win the only thing that matters is… giving it your all!" Illya said, in a very encouraging tone. Her voice reached the depths of all the students' hearts, and their spirits were instantly lifted.

"Thank you so much for your encouraging words, Angel!" the whole class shouted, bowing their heads at the little girl showing the utmost respect.

The students started to admire the little girl, thinking of a being that decided from the heavens and guided them to success.

Illya had her rabbit hood on, and the students started to call her an angel out of nowhere, which shocked her. She took one look at her parents, and they nodded their heads, she of course, knew they were telling her that she could say something.

"You welcome, I hope that all of you will do your best. Illya will be cheering for you all!"

Those words were enough to boost the morale of the whole class, and the teacher smiled looking at the little girl. Without her presence in the class, she would have to deal with a bunch of sad students and that was something Tina did not want to do.

All the students looked around the classroom, trying to figure out who they were pairing with, they did not ask Shito or Tenka because they knew they would be pairing with each other.

A second later.

Each of the students found their partners and nobody had to tell them what to do. Tina Tobiichi was so happy that she did not have to keep telling them what to do and she looked at the class and smiled

"Now that that's out of the way… class is dismissed, you have the rest of the day to train for the duels. After all, you need to use this rest of the time to train."

With those words, the class left the classroom in a hurry to go train. The tournaments started the next day and that was something they did not want to be late for.

Illya and her parents sat in the classroom alone, all the other students were gone, and the teacher left the classroom the students had exited.

"Mama and Papa, what are we going to do right now?"

Shito looked at Illya and got up out of his seat. He himself did not need to do any trying but he had to help his partner out. Even though she was strong enough to beat all the normal students she was going to need to learn some of her abilities to fight against the student council members.

The student council members were the strongest people in the entire school. They were said to be comparable to A-rank adventures. They knew all types of magic and were proficient in the mage element that had, that was why he needed to train Tenka.

Shito snapped his fingers, and they appeared in the training facility that he created. The training facility that he could control everything in that includes time. Everything in this facility was under his control but there was nothing on the plane at all, it was plain white.

Shito's gaze shifted to his daughter, Illya. "I am going to train your mother for a little bit, you can go do something you like."

"What do you mean 'something I like' there is nothing to do in this place."

"You can create your own dimension, so you could be able to create a world similar to ours and travel to it and play around… you could also be able to create other types of beings."

Illya looked at her father and stuck her hand out into thin air, and mana started flowing around the area. She was creating a dimension that was like their own earth that even held a sun and galaxies in it… a place that was fully in her control.

"Bye, mama, and Papa. Have fun training together." Illya said disappearing into thin air. She teleported to the dimension she created for herself to play in.
