Episode 21- [Mana Screen]: A Talk with His Older Sister

The screen showed a beautiful woman with smooth brown hair that was tied into twin buns with golden ribbons.

Her eyes were shining bright gold. The woman had an ideal appearance one that most women would crave to have. A beautiful and gentle appearance that gave off a feeling of motherly love.

Every color of the girl mixed well together; the name of the beautiful woman was Sara Mahinu. She was the older sister of the beautiful student, Shito Mahinu. Since they were siblings, he too had the ability to contact her whenever he wanted to. Sara was the best at everything during her days, everything counting magic and swordsmanship if it comes to fighting and knowledge, she was simply above everyone.

"What do you want to ask me, little brother?"

"I know you have the schedule for my battles. I want to spend time with my daughters, but I need to know when I'm going to have to fight someone."

Turning her head to the side, a blue light flashed from the screen and Sara was holding a piece of paper in her hand. She looked at the piece of paper before looking up at her brother.

"You are going to have to fight in a battle tomorrow. So, there is no need for you to worry about fighting with anyone today. Also, make sure you send my nieces to come over to me tomorrow, after all, I want to see them tomorrow."

"I will let them go with you tomorrow. Even though they don't need any protection, make sure you keep them safe. They are your nieces too, so being safe is one of our top priorities."

Illayaka and Illya looked at their father as he was talking to their aunt, and they smiled cutely. They were happy to see how much their father cared about them. Even though it was to be expected, nobody has really heard or seen Shito show any kind of care for anyone. And they didn't know how much he cared about them since he didn't show much emotion.

The two girls closed their eyes, and their minds were starting to connect. They were using telepathic communication. A skill that allows people to communicate with other people through their minds.

"Hey…! Big sis, Father seems to care about us a lot. Even though we are strong enough to protect ourselves he seems to go out of his way to make sure we are safe."

"You are right. I would hate to see him mad at someone for trying to hurt our family. We both know that Father is strong, but nobody knows what his true power is… he hasn't even shown any of his powers really. The only thing that I have seen from him was a sword."

Illayaka looked over at her sister in confusion. She had no idea that her father had a sword. Coming to the family late caused her to miss the fight he had with the demon.

"What sword are you talking about…?!"

"Abyzou! That was the name of the sword he used, and that was the sword that one shot a demon."

"Wow…! From the sound of that, the sword sounds pretty strong!"

Illya looked at her sister and smiled. "It sure was a strong sword, I hope he can make us a sword. I really want to have one of my own. After all, both of our parents use swords and we at both mage-knights because we have the Unknown Power." She was talking directly into her sister's mind so no one could hear the conversation they were having at all.

"I mean we could ask him for one later. Father is not going to say no to use because he is going to love the feeling of being able to train us."

The two of them jumped off their father's shoulders and ran toward their mother. They wanted to hug their mother because they had already been with their father for over ten minutes.

Shito looked at his sister before looking at his daughters who were running away from him. "Well, it looks like they wanted to be with their mother for right now. That's to be expected. A mother's love is the best love."

"What do you mean we never had a mother before? As a matter of fact, we never had a father, so you never felt any kind of paternal love," she whispered through the screen so nobody could hear their conversation.

Everyone was spread out throughout the room, with Tenka, Lilith, and his daughters standing at the door that was over twenty meters away from him. Lucia was twenty meters away from him, but she was on the other side of the room by herself. Beds were spread out through the whole infirmary.

She had to be quieter because that was something neither of them wanted people to know about. They never had parents and they took care of each other as kids.

Looking at his sister, Shito leaned closer to the screen. "I mean. You are not wrong about that, but I did have a motherly figure."

"Who was it…?! I don't remember ever having someone to take care of us like that!"

Shito sighed looking at his hopeless sister. How could she possibly have forgotten about the person who took care of them? One of the people he cared about most in the world.

"You are the person who showed me any kind of motherly love, and I don't need a mother when I have you. You are the only person that I would want as a mother."

With those words, Shito smiled brightly, he was starting to show more signs of having his emotions. His smile was brighter than usual, and it was the most beautiful thing one could ever see.

"I… I appreciate the compliment! Just know anytime you need me I will always be here for you brother. Blood is thicker than water, so we are going to have to deal with each other all our lives. Even if we were to get mad at each other that would not stop our family ties!"

"You are right about that."

Sara looked at her wrist and smiled. "Brother, I'm going to have to go now. I still have to watch the battles of the other students but make sure you call me some other time. And I thought I told you to get a phone." She had told her brother multiple times that he needed to use a phone nowadays. That was the whole reason for the upgrade of technology.

"You know I don't like using those types of things. They don't work anywhere else other than a place that has an internet connection. And with mana, I could connect my mana screen to anywhere at any time."

Mana screen was something that could be used as like telephone screen or even a television screen. But it was infinitely better than both of those things combined because he could connect to his screen anywhere be it in a different world or a world without dimensions. If he had mana, he could connect it anywhere. Thanks to his body being filled with mana, he could use the screen anytime. His body held an infinite amount of mana and ki.

"You are right… I have to go now but I will talk to you later. Make sure you send the girls over to me tomorrow. I have something that I want to talk to them about tomorrow."

"...Ok. See you later, big sis…"

Waving her hand at her brother, Sara smiled, knowing full well that her brother was about to deactivate the mana screen.

Shito tapped his wrist and the mana screen disappeared, he looked over at Lucia and noticed that she was still shocked. It was to be expected though. Finding out that one of the people you are talking to is the brother of the strongest mage in the world could take a toll on a person.

Sighing at the sight of Lucia, he looked over at his daughters and noticed that they were hugging their mother. They were not moving because they loved the warm feeling that was coming from her mother's body. It was a feeling that could make them fall asleep.

"Do you guys want to go out into the city?" Shito suggested to all the people in the room. Even though they had just met, he was willing to become friends with Lilith and Lucia. "If you all want to go out and have fun then I'm more than willing to go out and have fun with everyone in this room."

Lucia suddenly snapped out of her shocked expression and looked at her friend who was standing in the doorway. They stared at each other for a couple of seconds and nodded their heads.

"We are coming along with you. It beats sitting around in this school with nothing to do?" Lilith and Lucia said in unison. They were kind of excited to be asked to go out somewhere.

Tenka looked over at Shito and smiled cutely. "You know I'm going to come along with you, so there was no need for you to even ask me." she grabbed the tip of his shirt and looked at her daughters that were standing beside her.

"Well, let's get going then, Mama and Papa." the little girls said in unison.

Illya went over to her father and grabbed his hand, and Illayaka went over to her mother and grabbed her hand. They switched their roles from the last time because they wanted to hold a different hand than they did when they first went out together.

With that, all the people in the room walked out and headed toward the city. They were going to go out there and have fun. After all, they were planning to have fun together.
